Grilled chicken salad was perfect, I was totally impressed how everything was packaged separately and my grilled chicken arrived warm and my salad greens were still crisp smartly packaged package all separately. My colleague and I visited this downtown little establishment the next night and had the sincere opportunity to meet the owner and the chef - enjoyed our burgers and fried pickles and cold beer. Everything was perfect, Kyle was friendly and helpful server / bartender. Atmosphere was low-key and just what we needed after a long day of work. Highly recommend!

But then a little dog named Rosie walked up to greet us, and after we petted her the ice was broken and we were welcomed into the fold. :) We soon learned that Rosie had a special talent, she liked to sit on the shoulders of a guy named Mike while he shot pool. Mike happened to be sitting nearby, so B challenged him to a round. And they weren't kidding, that little dog happily climbed up on his shoulders and sat there through the whole game! It's quirky little finds like this that make me love going to these off-the-beaten-path dive bars. You never know just what to expect!

If ANYONE speaks to this lady, tell her a COUNTED 28 people outside the wrong address, means there's a problem, and a HUGE poster on the door of the WRONG PLACE doesn't solve it. There are plenty of cities the size of St. Joseph that don't have buildings this nice nor do they support performance art the way that the residents of St. Joseph apparently do. This theatre really is something to be proud about. Plus, the theatre has lots of free parking nearby as well as is walking distance to a number of restaurants! My only complaint is that Saturday's show was shown to have no center orchestra tickets available, however the entire second row was empty. I have no idea what that was about.

The bartender was friendly and they have a full bar plus several options for draft beer. The space is well maintained and while there wasn't a huge crowd at our show, there was plenty of room to space out, or be as close to the stage as you wanted. (there was also a small snack bar - could be a nice treat after a long night of dancing!)
