The reason I'm withholding one star is because the back room was so dark and dank and STEAMING HOT I had to take breaks between dancing in there and catching my breath at the table where we settled at. I love Bushwick but the smell in that room after 2:30 am went from musty to BO Stank, to pickles and vinegar smelling. Please do better crack a window and wear deodorant guys! For a dive bar, it's quite spacious it was compared to similar spots, which are usually smaller and have you stuffed like you're inside a tin can of sardines. Don't get me wrong, it's not huge but roomie enough to get your dance on without stepping on someone else's shoes. It's also super clean and has proper air ventilation... if you're into that sort of thing. The light fixture in the middle of the ceiling... should I call it a centerpiece? is impressive as well. I've seen many LED fixtures over the years. This is amongst my favorites. Another win of Jupiter Disco: on a cold, January night they had an adequate number of bartenders. Something other places struggle with. I can only speak to the cocktail I had and it was wonderful: Professional Widow ( Tequila + Lemon + Ginger + Cardamom + Blackberry Balsamic). I had a few of those and they were all made to perfection. My friends ordered other drinks but they said everything was to their liking. The DJ - For Future's Sake: Just wanted to drop a quick additional note about the DJ, For Future's Sake. Each time I hear his sets I become more and more impressed. His ability to mix top 40 hits with obscure and niche dance and EDM tracks together is unmatched. Shoutout to him for keeping the vibes pretty epic last night.

The layout really adds to the term of this club, with funky and unique architecture, such as the stairs in the main room, or the round arch is in the doorways on the first level, down to the pool table that serves as the DJ table in the the basement level. Great drinks at the bar upstairs, as well as the one downstairs, gender, neutral, and clean, restrooms, and coat check available. Staff are friendly here and the owners do a great job of booking, unique and exciting talent.

I loved that there were congas by the ready for a quick jam sesh! My only gripe was the drinks. My first drink was an "old fashioned" and it had a bunch of raw coarse sugar at the bottom. It actually looked like a Long Island iced tea, so I'm not sure what it was. It was a bit loud, so maybe they misunderstood my order. My second drink seemed accurate, and was just fine. SARAH, the security guard is a predator!!!!…read more I went to House of Yes last night for Futch, a lesbian dance party. I been a couple times before and met Sarah there. She was always so friendly and flirty with me. Last night I came with my new partner. As soon as we walked in, she was standing nearby and she looked angry seeing us together. The rest of the night, all I could feel were her eyes on me from afar. At one point, she passed by me and secretly caressed my ass. I felt very uncomfortable and asked my partner if we could leave right after. I didn't feel safe asking for a manager to report her as she's already a supervisor security there. This is supposed to be a safe space and I DID NOT FEEL SAFE!!! Apparently from another person there, she gets "around" with girls there and even denied someone entry because they were no longer together. I would think she would be more respectful and keep it professional. I DID NOT CONSENT FOR HER TOUCHING ME LAST NIGHT!!! It's gross to think this is their employer. I will no longer be going back and neither will some of my other friends. It sucks, I really loved that party.
