This place is a small but really iconic concert venue and bar in Brooklyn. It has that very "Brooklyn" feel (like... it literally has its own Wikipedia page). The signature drinks are always good and I definitely recommend trying one of the frozen ones. If you're going for a show, get there early. I came to see Adam Melchor here in concert on a Thursday night. The concert was at 7pm and it started right away at approximately 7:05 pm. He had no opener. Baby's All right is a fun small concert space and I liked that they had water available to the concert goers to hydrate. Hydration is so important when people are crammed together you can easily pass out on the ground. The bathroom was a bit far away from the stage (in the basement). They have a bar and Mexican food. I would love to come back and try their food and have myself an alcoholic beverage as well. Overall, Baby's All Right is a cool bar with a small concert space. I like coming to small intimate concerts they feel so much more personal and I feel more connected with the artist in this type of setting. I would definitely like to come back for another event. I've had many a fun night at Baby's over the years, including the night I broke up with a toxic ex so I have lots of fond memories dancing off my feels in the main room, with its iconic purple and blue circular lights on the wall behind the stage. It's never (or rarely?) oversold, so I haven't felt smooshed up against people, and the crowd has been so chill. They don't typically host the biggest acts, and maybe that explains the chill crowd and it never being oversold. Can't say much about the brunch as I have zero expectations that it would be good. The drinks are not going to be fancy but for a venue they're not terribly overpriced. The booth seating in the dining area is lovely for small groups if you're ready to down low quality beer and well drinks. In many ways this place feels frozen in time from the Williamsburg of the early aughts, which in and of itself is wonderful. read more

For a Thursday night the place was packed to the point where I'm thinking, "Do I want to be here?" This is, after all, not really my kind of place. It's hot, hard to move around, and I'm looking for the stage which is more or less straight in from the entrance whereas I end up going to the right. Being a little early, and on the list, I waited at the rope after finally making it to the right place for the doors to officially open. If you are looking for a seat in here, you need to literally be first in line since there are a total of two barstools in the room at the bar. I was there to see Ben Katzman's DeGreaser with Ben Wade as a special guest. They put on a hell of a show and with it being a tight venue they rocked the place like they owned it. I was really glad I made the detour into Brooklyn to make this happen in the end and I would not even consider myself a fan of his genre though it did bring back some memories of Quiet Riot back in the day! I really wanted to like Baby's All Right, but honestly, it didn't live up to the hype. First off, it's a very white club in Williamsburg, and while the space itself is pretty big, the experience just wasn't worth it. The tickets were expensive, and to make matters worse, the air conditioning wasn't working, so the whole place felt like a sweaty mess. On the plus side, parking was super easy to find, which was a nice surprise for Williamsburg. But once inside, it got so packed because they clearly oversell tickets. It's hard to enjoy yourself when you're shoulder-to-shoulder with people, and let's just say deodorant wasn't a priority for a lot of them. The music didn't save the night either--it was pretty underwhelming and not worth the price or the long commute. If you're looking for a fun night out, there are definitely better spots to check out. This one felt like a letdown. read more

I've come to Baby's a few times for different concerts and it's always been pretty nice. I love how much space there is and it's never overcrowded. I find the food and drinks to be decently priced, but the drinks can be hit or miss depending on the bar tender, so don't take a gamble if you're pressed for money. Or stick with easy drinks that are hard to mess up. Unfortunately, last night might be the last time for me at Baby's for the foreseeable future. The bouncer was incredibly rude to this group of girls last night, who he refused to let inside because one of them had taken a shot outside the bar. She was standing by the trashcan on the street, not trying to get inside or in line with it. And while I completely understand not letting people bring outside drinks into the venue or letting them leave the venue with drinks, I think it's absolutely ridiculous and unfair to refuse entry to someone who shows up with a drink already or who is drinking on the public sidewalk. Make them throw it away or leave it outside if they try to enter with a drink, but complete refusal of entry is uncalled for. Additionally, only one of the girls in the group had the shot, but the bouncer refused entry to everyone. He clearly was on some kind of power trip, and said the one girl drinking was "disrespectful" and not respecting him or the venue. I'm not sure how or why pregaming before you go somewhere is suddenly viewed as "rude" or not "respectful" but I definitely think the mistreatment of innocent girls absolutely is unforgivable. The bouncer treated them completely unfair and refused to give them entry to an event they PAID for, even though they weren't being disruptive nor did they break any rules. I'm not interested in going to a venue where you can get refused at the door purely at the whims of a bouncer who thinks he's bigger than the program. That bouncer is completely out of line and I hope the owners speak with him about how he treats women going forward. read more

It's a really fun venue with a functional space and awesome performances but last night their AC wasn't working during an event that easily had 400 people packed into the venue at the tail end of June... just completely unacceptable and honestly dangerous. It felt like a literal sauna - the temp was at least 90F if not higher. People can easily pass out under these conditions especially where there is drinking, dancing, and crazy crowds. How a small venue can still be allowed to operate when their AC is broken in the summer season without a single fan is beyond me. Will not be returning unless they have functioning AC and/or fans. read more

From the wallpaper to the clientele, this place swarms of ugly millennial. The ceilings look like an off brand Vista Cruiser while the bathroom walls look like dry molded tufting. 2 days ago I went to babys all right for jean deaux concert, my issue isn't with the venue, the atmosphere is cool and the security is always nice, its with a particular middle aged grey haired bartender named Jeff that made me the worst Mai Tai I have ever tasted- it was like a conglomerate of bad liquor that tasted like diet vomit. I went back to the bar and asked this man for a whiskey ginger- he made it then said $12.00 and I said I already brought this mai tai from you it was $14.00 and I don't like it- he verbatim said "its not my fault your ordered something you don't like" as if he wasn't the one that just made my drink. He took the whiskey gingerale back threw it away (illogical- just wasted more liquor & my patience). I was PISSED spoke to the manager and he made it right by making me a whiskey ginger. How do I begin. Maybe with the massive flood light that was blasted on the dance floor all night. If you're looking for a sobering awkward dance experience this place is for you. You wanna see all your friends pores this the place for you. I tried to help but was met by this weird manager lady in an awkwardly awful striped shirt telling me if I don't like it I could leave. Whatever it ain't that serious I was there for a friend. But when I saw other people pointing it out we got 36 people on this tiny dance floor to sign a petition to turn it off, she decided to throw me out. I don't blame the light/stage tech, they were gorgeous, or the security they were very sweet, but the manager clearly doesn't get out much. I hope she reflects on this moment to understand the experience of dancing under a floodlight while having a late night out with friends, and understands that instead of being stubborn maybe just turn the light off lovey. It's not that difficult. It wasn't me getting people into it, as she claimed, but people coming together as a dance floor/customers to point it out as bad vibes. Visited Baby's All Right for brunch on a Sunday. Their bottomless brunch deal is pretty good, you get an entree and unlimited mimosas, bloody marys, and greyhounds for $38.99. It's a bit dim in the restaurant, unless you're seated near the big bay windows. Pretty homely, you can tell this place is more a music venue than restaurant. Service was quick and friendly. We never felt rushed to leave. For my entree, I got the biscuits and gravy. It was a cheddar and jalapeno biscuit, smothered in sausage gravy, and topped with an easy sunny side egg. It was a hearty meal, but a bit saltier than I would have liked. The atmosphere and food aren't really anything to go out of the way for, but it's not bad overall. read more

I visited this place for the first time for a freddie dredd concert and I gotta say, the staff handled it very well. Venue is all the way in the back of the restaurant and was surprisingly very very small. Kind of like a larger classroom kind of size with the capacity of 280 people. As a person who's done parties before, I feel for the bouncer, especially because on that cold night he was taking his job very well. Gave very straight rules and as long as you followed them and respected him, you were all right. The ladies at the bar was very well settled too, even with all the wildness going on, much love to them and I hope they're doing well. At the end with how hot and packed the concert was, the fire alarm went off and it was handled very well and professionally. Good job Baby's, I might go back to try some food one day. read more

How have I never reviewed Baby's All Right before? This is my favorite place to go out for bottomless brunch. It's excellent for groups especially. The wait on the weekend during peak hours can get seriously long, so my recommendation would be to find 5 friends and make a reservation. Baby's only accepts reservations during brunch for parties of 6 or more. If you can't get a reservation, or you're a smaller group, try to get here before noon. There may not be a wait then. Why do I love Baby's? Their bottomless deal isn't expensive (it's $39 plus tax and tip), the wait staff keeps the mimosas filled (they also offer bloodies and greyhounds), and the food menu is actually good. I am particularly fond of the chilaquiles and the wake and bake. On occasion, the kitchen has sent out a platter of their amazing donuts du jour. Definitely order if you're in the mood for something sweet. Also, perhaps most importantly, Baby's is just a fun place to brunch. It's lively and has good energy. I always enjoy coming here, and whenever my bf is trying to plan a brunch outing, I always try to steer us here! read more

I saw a show here the other night, and I just had a great time. It's a really intimate space with very low-key vibes, just the exact sort of thing I like in a concert/venue. The back wall, behind the stage, is made of bottles, and the lights shine through the bottles, and it's just a beautiful design element. Otherwise, it kind of feels like you're in someone's living room, in the best way. The staff was young and friendly and very chill as well. The bartender was especially sweet, and fast, and efficient, and the prices for cocktails and beer, for this area, are extremely reasonable. They have several different shows on the bill in one night, and the added benefit of this means each individual show is about an hour or so, and doesn't drag on forever, a pet peeve I have always had with live music, that is can just....go on... They have a very lovely lounge area with tables, near the merch table, and on the weekends offer brunch. I've had brunch here once, a few years ago, and recall it being a fun experience, you used to be able to make your own Bloody Marys. Probably not now, with covid, but this was, incredibly, my first show here after living in the neighborhood for almost 7 years. Will definitely be back. read more

Ok, long story short, I had a burrito from a food truck at McCarrren park. The best burrito I have had in NY. Turns out, Baby's Alright has the same taco truck operating out of there kitchen in Brooklyn. The California burrito they serve here is the BEST burrito I have had in New York, hands down, no questions asked. A friend got me a ticket to a show for Nicole Atkins at another borough. We took a Uber from Manhattan to Brooklyn at 7 pm and we arrived at Baby's All Right at 8 pm. The traffic was unbearable in Manhattan, thankfully, it wasn't too bad at Brooklyn. When I got off from Uber, I look at the name of the place where we will see the concert and I was like: Baby's All Right??? That is original and catchy. I got in and I thought it was a venue with tables and food served at you. Keep in mind, I only been to one venue in my life and that is the metropolis in Montreal. Not so, the concert room is another room and we had to stand there for three hours while we were waiting for Nicole Atkins. There was an opening by a band I can't recall the name, my friend and I didn't like it because of the metal influence. The second act was Indiapolos and they were quite good. Then came Nicole Atkins, she was AMAZING. I never heard her songs before but she got me hook on some of her songs. Apparently, I met her before the show and I shook hands with her. That place is quite intimate that you can interact with the artists who will be performing! After the show, I hugged her and I told her that she was amazing. My night ended with my friend convincing me to buy a shirt from Nicole Atkins and Nicole wanted me to take a picture of me with the shirt. The next day, I sent a picture of myself on my instagram page and she loved it! The restaurant/venue is quite lovely to just hang out.... They served your all American food and a lot of students and artists hang out there. read more
