So much fun! Super cool experience if you're looking for some variation in your yoga/exercise regimen. The space is quaint with dim lighting--has a pretty intimate feel which I liked. Attended classes mid day during the week, only about a handful of attendees each time (another plus for me). Instructors are patient and walk you through for beginners. Definitely enjoyed myself!

I live for trying new ways to exercise and strengthen my body while having fun. I was in town visiting a friend and we planned to try aerial yoga for the first time together. The class was $29 fir the session and we signed up online. There are deals i'f you purchase more than one class at a time. No private parking so we parked nearby on the street. Walking in you instantly get a relaxing, positive energy. The instructor Lauren was so sweet and welcoming. She walked up to us and introduced herself and helped to get us settled in. We took the 1st level Dance and we had a great workout. I wish I lived closer so I could come every weekend.

Love this place!!! I've been doing regular yoga for about a year or two now and for me I've found it very therapeutic, emotionally as well as physically. I especially love getting a good stretch and how good and less stressed out I feel afterward! This, however, was a totally new experience! When my usual yoga teacher's class was canceled for the next session, I was looking for another yoga class to take its place. I tried some other yoga places that I just didn't like and saw this on Groupon, it seemed totally different and unique so I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! It was so much fun! Although, I was a little put off by the first class. It takes awhile to get acclimated to the hammock (and really trust that it will be there to support you! - yes that's also very therapeutic for this trust-issue girl!) and it also takes time to get acclimated to hanging upside down. The first class, oh the pain! It hurt a lot! And I always see newbies talking about this or wincing and I feel their pain! It was very uncomfortable (and even a bit painful the first couple times) but after one or two classes, it's totally fine and very relaxing. (I really love that decompression of my spine and it really helps my sinus issues!) You just need to break up some of that tissue you're not used to leaning on! Hang in there! (Yes, Pun intended!) I try to come at least once a week (for about 2 months now) and I wish I could go even more often but it's quite far away from me; all the way at the other end of the valley. I do love it though and I really enjoy it and it's unique challenges. The staff are also all great and very supportive. I love Beckett's class but Kimberly is equally kind! They all make it look so easy but are always so helpful if/when you're struggling with a pose! Yay! However, I especially love when we have a little fun and do some different supported moves with the hammock! My favorite, the supported plow pose! But they're all fun and great and I do love how the concentration on the moves really allows me to relax my mind from all my worries and cares! Woo hoo! Three cheers for Up Flying Yoga! :) P.S - I think a restorative yoga class in the hammock would be awesome! Doing those supported poses! Just an idea! :)

Classes canceled all the time so don't rework your plans just to attend

I have very mixed feelings about Up Flying Yoga. The studio is lovely and the instructors are wonderful. However, it falls short in so many other areas. PROS: The studio appearance is lovely The instructors (Especially Lena & Jordan) are AMAZING! Various apparatuses available (although not all are used during 'mixed apparatus' class) CONS: classes are only 60 minutes yet the same price (or higher) than 90 min classes at other aerial studios 4 of the last 7 classes I've booked have been canceled by the studio I really wanted Up Flying to be my go-to since I live so close and I love the instructors but when I schedule my classes I schedule my week around it and I just can't back a studio that is going to cancel classes last minute. Up, you have so much potential. I'll be back when you get 90 minute classes and start keeping the classes you post.

I feel pretty ohhhh sooo prettyyyyyyy!!!!!!

This studio is amazinggggggggggg!!!! So far I have only taken the level 1 aerial yoga class and absolutely love it!!! Every instructor has been so nice and so helpful. They make you feel safe and comfortable. I'm not super flexible and was able to keep up with the class! Highly recommend the 4 class deal ( on their website or Groupon)!! FYI street parking is available!

I'd had a bad experience at the Pasadena studio with a girl named Megan, so I decided to try a different location, and I'm so glad I did. This studio is waaaay cleaner. The mat towels smelled fresh, everything felt sanitized, and the space was clearly well taken care of. My instructor, Jimmy, delivered an amazing workout, he incorporated moves I've never seen before and actually walked around correcting form, which is rare in larger fitness classes. He was fun, energetic, and really set the tone. Playlist was baddie certified! LOVED him! I also appreciated how well maintained everything was, soaps fully stocked, cozy studio rooms, and an overall vibe that felt intentional and inviting. I think this might be my new go to location. I don't even mind the drive :)

She was so charming and friendly and really made everyone comfortable. She made the class!!! She was a wonderful teacher who made learning easy and enjoyable. I would love to come back but it is quite expensive. Probably good for a treat! The overall studio is very pretty and aesthetic. The aerial room was a bit tight but did the job! Loved the openness of everything. The entrance and signing into the class was a bit messy and hectic, the entrance was under construction and the man at the front handing out the waivers and such seemed a bit overwhelmed. Didn't feel super welcoming. Streamlining and organizing this section would def help put clients more at ease since I was starting to doubt the class in the beginning.-BE SURE TO BRING A YOGA MAT! Otherwise you'll have to pay $4 to rent one. -The overall class was 10 minutes of warmup, 30 min lesson, and then 10 minutes of free time to record and practice what you just learned. -The AERIAL DANCE INTRO CLASS was a great class for those who have never done aerial or those who haven't done it in years. We learned 3-4 positions. - Paid street parking or limited lot parking ( where ABOUT TIME CAFE is , free during the day) - bathroom available - Locker room on the side - They have two cute dogs in the studio - Recording isn't allowed till the end.

The man followed me around asking where i got my yoga mat and even when i was leaving asked if i am taking my yoga mat and where it is etc- very annoying, bizarre and frankly off putting as hell. he was anything but welcoming so i suggest you remove him from whatever he's doing in the front. never want to come back. apparently you have to pay for rental yoga mat. But even before I get to the class, the entry entryway and the vibe of the whole place is off because it's so worn out. i'm scared the fabric will fall off the hook and it's extremely smelly and overall unstable and worn out looking- not sure if i can trust the hanging to support me but that's the attorney in me talking. everything i see seems like a liability, especially their old hooks and the way the instructor walks around with a huge ladder in a crowded class. Next the class itself- instructor spent majority of the time making us stretch and adjusting our fabric. it was such a waste of time. don't do it if you're trying to get a workout in.
