No-nonsense, The Winery II shop showcasing beers, wines, liquors, cigars and other products plus a walk-in humidor. The staff (Satish at the counter) they were very welcoming and they were very helpful in finding the alcohol I was looking for and it was surprisingly very close, I didn't know there was liquor store that's close to my home. They do have Indian liquor that I like the most. I love this place as they are well stocked and people here are so nice and prices are great. Casual ambiance with ample free parking in front of the store. I'll definitely return and would highly recommend. If you are in Dunwoody or nearby must come here. read more

This store is literally in walking distance from my residence. Easy access right off of exit 30(Chamblee Dunwoody) on highway 285. If you are familiar with Bowlmor it's on the same road (Savoy drive). The owner and his wife are very welcoming and helpful. I've grown close to the wife over the years. I'm like family. I call her Imo which is aunt in Korean. I do have a Korean aunt in real life and she reminds me of her so it was only right :). Prices are typical. They do have deals on selected brands weekly and for you cigar lovers there are a variety of cigars to choose from located immediately to you right as soon as you enter the store. It has its own little private area to its self. The wine section is my favorite and there's plenty to choice from to fulfill your needs. You will guarantee find everything you need at this location down to the snacks if necessary to keep your poor stomach coated from what you're about to get yourself into once you make your purchase & leave lol. Not quite the selection I was hoping for. Limited selection - like no Tito's that I could find. Small beer selection which was fine. Prices were comparable to nearby. This package store isn't as fancy as some other ones, but it sure gets the job done. It is conveniently located off of 285. Exit 30 and always well stocked. The location is right near the Mad Italian and 300 bowling alley. They staff is always friendly and always I.D.'s me (bonus points for making me feel like a teenager again) They carry an assortment of beers, liquors, wine, mixers, and even champagne. They also sell tobacco products. I especially like their assortment of mini liquor bottles. They are perfect for a single serve or traveling to a picnics, parties, and um, business meetings. (Just kidding, but not really :p) But yeah, all in all this place is pretty standard and you will most likely find what you are looking for. Cons: Very small, can feel kind of crowded if there are several customers walking around. Note: This place is easy to miss. This store is tucked away on a desolate stretch of Savoy Drive. I was driving past, and to be honest the sign making it vaguely reminiscent of the liquor store from House of 1000 Corpses is what really caused my car to pull into the lot. Once I was inside, I was rather impressed. The prices are competitive and the selection is significantly above average. They take a fairly small space and use every square foot to maximum capacity. They have a good cross section of the usual spirits and a fair collection of obscure ingredients for the discerning mixologist. I was able to pick up everything I needed for a proper Singapore Sling including Benedictine and Cherry Heering. The beer and wine section tucked in the back also appeared to be above average. This place is worth a visit. read more

This time when I told him that is response to my question was rude, he proceeded to argue with me about how he wasn't rude vs apologizing for his poor tone. I will not be returning. There's another package store closer to my house but I'll be comin here more often. First off they have a wide selelction a wine. It's not huge but definitely a great variety. Also it's not just wine but all the liquor you need, and I love how they have a good selection of shots. Best of all they are open late, until midnight and open Sundays (yes!). Nobody calls it The Winery. Its Liquor Cats. I don't know that they have ever cleaned liquor cats on the inside. Its like a dusty tomb filled with many alcoholic beverages. They have a great liquor selection, but the beer selection is total Meh and I seem to always buy wine that is sticky because other wine spilled on it. Also, the prices seem... not that cheap. Everything seems 10 or 15% more expensive than say Tower or Total Wine. However, its really really really really extremely close to my house so incredibly convenient for me. Thus, 3 stars. read more

Liquor Cats/The Winery II has a decent beer and liquor selection and they have a nice cigar selection. This place is nestled between 2 restaurants on Savoy Drive inside the 285 perimeter. It's a very small building and is very dusty and cramped on the inside. You have to know what you're looking for before you go into the store because they layout doesn't yield a lot of room for walking up and down aisles and searching for items. The prices are okay. Some items are over priced and others are lower than the competitors like Tower. I do like that they have a cigar selection that has a humidor. read more

i live in the area so this is close to me, probably 2 minutes away. once the liquor store on Chamblee-Dunwoody Rd. in the Georgetown Plaza closed years ago, i started going here. The two owners, a husband and a wife are very helpful and nice. the store is huge and has a wide variety of Liquors and wines. Honestly i can't speak on price or compare it to other package stores bc i never go anywhere else. But i feel the prices are doable. They also have a big Cigar selection. in a small room to your right as soon as you walk in. I don't know much about cigars but they do have a humidifier in the room as well. Also, you can play the Georgia lotto here and they have scratch offs as well !! Also they have a small selection of sodas, chips, and margarita mixes. they do sell shot glasses, wines stoppers, oh and very random but they sell those Big Mama pickles that i love.... This has been my go to package store and it will remain. The customer service is great & i highly recommend it to anyone FYI: they do have a parking lot and they DO NOT ACCEPT AMEX !!! read more

Over the years I've done a load of business at this establishment owned by a fine married couple without any problems. They keep the store open up to 11:30 PM and are open on Sundays until 10:00 PM. The liquor selection is excellent while the beer selection is good. If you like beer they'll have something you'll like. The wine section is also well stocked. Cigar smokers will appreciate the walk in humidor where there is a fine selection of cigars. The husband part of the owners should know, he smokes cigars and is an expert on wine on top of it. Having a choice between giving my business to them or some chain like a grocery store, for example, I would give it to them in a heartbeat. read more

I always stop by there almost every week to get a bottle. It's convenient and right down the road from my place. I really like the asian lady. Very cool and nice to me all the time. BUT that white guy there.....HELL NO. He is soooooo rude. He never acknowledge me or see if i need any help. I have been observing him for a while. I had to see if he act like that towards all customer or just certain people. I've noticed a few times i'm there he would only speak to white customers. Last night, I stopped by to pick up a bottle. The asian lady wasn't there. It was just him. He was on the phone talking to his wife. Then another customer walks in. The customer was white. When i got my bottle and took it to the counter to pay for it, he didn't bother to move or ring me up. He kept talking on the phone. As soon as the white customer walked up behind me, he got off the phone. He immediately started talking to the white customer. NOT once he looked at me when he was talking about his wife. He only looked at the white customer and telling him his whole story. After I paid for my bottle, bagged it and got my card back, he didn't say "have a good night or anything". He continued talking to the white customer. I came to my conclusion he doesn't like black people or black men. (from what I have observed) read more
