I have recently struck up a few conversations with one of the staff members, who are all awesome people IMO. The only piece of criticism that I can give this store, is that they need more spectacular spider-man merchandise. That sounds silly, but it is a beloved cartoon for many of my generation, and my friend and I agree that it would be awesome to see some of that in the store. I would literally buy the entire stock if this were the case. So overall, a very pleasant experience, and the staff were incredibly passionate and kind.

Feeling disappointed I gathered up the book and drove to Dr comics, politely I had asked for return. I was denied and told it was store policy. After explaining that my mother was unsure of what she was buying and she had only left the store 20 minutes ago I thought for sure we would be in luck, however no dice. They did offer a exchange but after checking a few more prices we would only be overpaying for something else. So I asked again for a return and still no. Didn't realize what a quaint litt ... errrrr, HUGE vintage bookshop this was! It is deceptive from the outside, but the building stretches quite far back. Pretty much a fairly solid selection, supported by some pretty regular and friendly customers. You can sell books too and get credit (they save it on the computer system). I picked up Thug Kitchen, a pretty recent vegan hardcover cookbook for only $8.50 and an old copy of James Herriot's All Things Great and Small in excellent condition for $3. Most of the books had great spines. The people who sell the books here really take care of their wares. Now if only there were a few chairs here ...
