Then she asked to see the card I was using to pay. I explained that I wasn't comfortable handing over my card due to privacy reasons. She told me that without seeing both my ID and my card, she couldn't complete the transaction. I respect that policies exist, but this felt excessive and unnecessary. I ended up leaving and went to Adam & Eve instead. When I walked in, I asked if they needed to see both my ID and my payment card, and they told me they only require ID. The transaction was quick and professional. Because of this experience, I'll be taking my business there moving forward. One good thing about this shop is your guys are very nice and very helpful.
