I had a light fixture that rusted out in our guest bathroom after an issue with the ventilation fan failing. I needed it replaced. I also had issues with 3 ceiling fans that needed replacing. One ceiling fan in the kitchen, one in a spare bedroom, and one in the master bedroom that is high up due to the vaulted ceiling. CJ Bradley's Electric stopped by to give me an estimate and told me to contact him when I was ready. There was zero pressure from him to schedule and the estimate was fair. I scheduled an appointment for today and he showed up and had everything done pretty fast. His work is great and for a great price. I'm super happy with his workmanship. Upon completion I was texted by the owner for an increase of 300.00 It was more of a demand unprofessional text. I was thrown off by the aggressive text but in the spirit of being non combative agreed to pay the 1,500.00 Not even a half hour later I was given an invoice for almost 1,700.00. When I questioned it I was told I was a crybaby and that if I didn't pay it they would come strip everything off my property. I explained I would send him a check as we agreed and he has been texting me threatening messages all night. I'm not sure if he is drunk or high? I would consider looking elsewhere if I was you.

They also poorly wired my panels so only about half my power output was being used. They lied that my panels could not be upgraded to individual inverters but wanted me to spend a lot of money for more panels that would have been on individual inverters. All they want is lots of money and then no support! I have now corrected the electrical problem at my expense and converted my panels to indivdual inverters that is giving me the 100% power I was initially promised and at a considerable saving with another company. I have a panel cleaning system that is with Heliotex that used The Solar Company for its install. They told me they no longer use this company for their installs because they are not reliable. I plan on reporting this company to the BBB and Electrical Union for the unsafe and unprofessional business practices. Stay away from this company. I now use Ensolare. I can trust them because they do what they say and affordably. I also use Heliotex for the automatic cleaning system too. I am passionate about solar. It can be reasonable and safe. But stay away from the Solar Company.

The ceiling in all 3 rooms were not taking the bolts and mounts that came with these 3 ceiling fans... I immediately knew I needed help and yelped away. Huft was extremely quick with getting someone out to my home and assess the issues in the rooms for the ceiling fans install. They sent over JP... cannot say enough great things about JP. He was extremely friendly, and was very down to earth. He was very transparent with what needed to be done to get these fans installed. He took notice of the fans I needed installed and said he had installed similar ones and how cool they were. Saturday evening on October 25th, our lights started flickering and we lost power for about 15…read moreminutes. This Kept happening all night. My husband flipped our breakers and that didn't seem to help. Sunday morning, half our house lost power completely. I started calling electricians. Maverick replaced our breaker box a year in a half ago so we didn't think it was the box. I called Maverick Electric Sunday to see if someone could come out and find what the problem was. I was told the first available appointment was Tuesday morning. My husband called another electrician, and they said they would send someone out Monday morning as this was a SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN! I don't think we slept for two hours that weekend. Monday morning, I left for work and my husband met the electrician at our home. The guy looked around and checked our breaker box and found that a wire had been tightened too tight in our new breaker box and it snapped. My husband text me this, and I called Maverick right away and let them know what was going on. They said they could send someone out between 12pm-5pm that day. In the meantime, the electrician at our home took a video, then fixed the problem! He even spent time checking all our outlets as this arcing could have caused major damage to our system or worse, a fire! He didn't feel comfortable not repairing this safety issue. The fee was $250. I called Maverick back and let them know the problem was fixed. I looked at my Maverick invoice for the breaker box that was installed by them in late 2023 and it has a 10 year warranty. I asked to be reimbursed. After a cat and mouse game with Christina in their office (there was not one phone call returned to me) and emailing the video the electrician took, and our paid invoice, I was told they will not reimburse us as they did not authorize the work and they agreed to send someone out Monday (only after I called that morning and stated that the issue actually was). I am very concerned about the quality of work done and further issues with our electrical system. This is not the way to handle business and the fact is, another electrician fixed your mistake and you are unwilling to do the right thing even with a 10 year warranty! This was a safety issue that could not wait until Tuesday. Do the right thing!

We recently reached out to Maverick for a seasonal HVAC tune up/service. The technician that came out was extremely helpful and did his best to answer our questions about what a new HVAC system would cost as well as the benefits of a new system. Our HVAC is still in working condition but we are aware that it is older and needs to be replaced soon. The technician suggested that we have a sales person come out and talk with us. We agreed and within the hour in walked Johnny. First impressions of him were a used car sales person that is going to sell me the most expensive unit on the lot. And he did just that, or at least he tried to. He tried talking us into a heat pump system for 27k. Never once looked in the attic or at the electrical panel nor did he make an effort to explain what a heat pump is. Just told us that it will easily save us 40% on our utilities. After asking him if he could guarantee that 40% savings he backed up and said no but maybe like 20% but with no guarantee. Our house is an older home built in the 80's and does not have solar. After doing some research, a heat pump system is the most efficient with a solar system and without a solar system you would need an upgraded electrical panel. Without the upgraded panel the system would not work at its full potential. This is my understanding and I could be wrong but again Johnny never once tried to explain any of this to us. By the end of the day he called us to offer a "smoking deal" and give us an additional 2k off just cause the GM was feeling generous and wanted to lock us in to start work the next day. He even pulled the whole, "oh well this deal is only good till the end of the day and the GM is literally walking out of my office so let's just get this done" pitch. I told him we needed to call around and get a few more quotes. The following Monday he called again and I told him we were going to use another company. He became very upset and kept asking why. "This is a smoking deal we just need to lock this in". I told him about our electrical panel and he said, "oh I looked at it and it's fine". Funny thing is that he never went in the backyard to see it and completely lied. I called him out and he immediately changed the subject. I could feel him getting upset that we were not using his company and he abruptly got off the phone. Based on the interactions with him I will never use this company again.
