The seemed to be dependable and were good with communication and availability. When I came back from traveling for the holidays yesterday, I found my place a mess. It had not been vacuumed, the tub had not been touched, the small deck had not been touched, and the apartment did not smell fresh. The only reason I knew they had come was some things were shifted from their normal spots and a picture on the wall had been pulled down so hard that it bent the hook it was on. In addition, there were strange objects on my floor, such as what appeared to be some sort of rock? And a piece of plastic I had never seen before. My attorney friend came over and looked around, and immediately came to the conclusion that people may have been hanging out or throwing a party in my place. I contacted Oscar, who denied any wrongdoing, and suggested that the couch cleaner I have used for years was responsible. Or that someone else was in my place (no one else has access). Even if that were true, I have no idea why my place was not cleaned from how I had left it. I asked for my money to be refunded and for the job to be redone correctly to make up for what happened (which I did not think was unreasonable for being a loyal customer and coming home to find my place a mess). He did refund my money, but refused to redo the job. He became extremely defensive when I questioned him about the state of my apartment, suggesting that I would give a "false testimony" if I reported him to the BBB or any other entity. I am considering filing a police report, particularly if I find anything missing or damaged (will elaborate on this review if I I am a busy professional and have no time for stuff like this, and certainly have no motivation to make up a story or try to get cleaning "for free." Do yourself a favor and stay away from this business- it is not worth it to have to deal with a headache like this. Update: Please read the response from the business.
