ive been driving here for years cause i love plumerias so one day i thought id come by. all the plumerias are in the front. they are all soo expensive and every plant only has like 2 flowers on it. everything is over priced, not a good variety and just a bunch of plants. basically no help either. if i wanted expensive gardening stuff i think id go elsewhere. the garden stuff was crappy as well read more

I bought 4 citrus trees from them in 2015. One if them suppose to be a Valentine Pamelo, which turned out to be a grapefruit. Very disappointing :-( The other 3 are OK. Update: I tried to call and talk to them. The person told me that all sales are final and asked me all kind of questions about the tree trying to make me feel stupid. After spending $500, I regret doing business with them. read more

We have been devoted clients since 2011. Spent thousands of dollars there and this past summer bought an expensive tree. We left with no special instructions given. The weather was very hot and the tree began to sag. We watered it due to the extreme heat. Nothing helped it was rotted at the base. We called them to see what they would do. They would only allow half credit to put towards another tree. That tree was over $500. It was obvious the tree was probably dead when it was sold to us or it would have survived. We do not plan to give them another penny! Go to a nursery that guarantees satisfaction. Do not go there! read more

Stopped by just to walk around and see what new and exciting plant I could find. Definitely a hidden gem! This place is awesome to walk around in!! They're prices are a little higher than most but they're plants are all very green and happy! Found an echeveria that is normally pricier higher at retail stores for a lot less here and way better looking!! Definitely going back to see what else I can find!! read more

This place was great, we found it because it was one of the only ones open on Sunday. We couldn't believe how big it was, you can't see how far back it goes from the street. The selection was impressive and they had some really cool different types of plants. From fruit trees to Japanese plants this place is fun to walk through. We brought our dog and got lost in the place. Great service and good prices. Now here's hoping we don't kill our plants! read more

LOVE this nursery. I come here everytime i come down to California to see family. I usually come here to buy my favorite Plumeria trees. They have discount deals and they also have a variety of different plants here. This place has a very good condition plumeria collection. They have all sorts of colors and their trees do very well. They dont sell you messed up plumerias. I would definitely recommend checking out this place if you love plumerias! read more

Went to the nursery next door and walked around for 20 minutes with no help. Stopped by Upland Nursery looking for a plant to serve as a screen. I was there a couple of minutes when Caesar stopped what he was doing to help me. He showed me 4 different plants that would work and went over watering instructions, etc. He has a lot of knowledge and answered all my questions. I picked the 4th kind and bought a few. I created a yelp account to leave this review. I was so impressed with Cesar and the rest of the staff at Upland nursery. I was pointed here by village nursery in FV to get water plants for our pond. Cesar met us right when we got out of the car, showed us around but was not pushy at all. He was the most knowledgeable/helpful person I've ever met at a nursery. He even took the time to show my son a hummingbird nest. I will make the trip back to upland nursery for everything from now on. read more

Beautiful nursery, best I've seen at least! The shop owners are a very friendly couple. I got a plum tree and apple tree from there, and a plant that attract humming birds, the fruits are already ripe and super delicious, and now I have humming birds visiting my backyard everyday. They also have a huge maple selection and some exotic bonsai. Worth checking it out! read more

Went to pick up a plumeria cut purchased online. I did not like quality of the cut, and asked for a different cut. They insisted it was of the highest quality and refused a different cut. This was for a gift and I did not have time to search for another, so I accepted it. Unfortunately it did not survive. I called back, explained what happened, and asked for a replacement. She told me I should have asked for another and not accepted the cut. I explained that is what I had done. They again refused to replace. They offered to sell me another at half price. POOR customer service. Make it right, and back your quality. The nursery is very nice, but they are more expensive than other nurseries. Looks like others have similar experiences like mine. That type of customer service loses customers. read more

I am so disappointed in Upland right now. My daughter and son in law bought me a different color plumeria for my collection for Mothers Day a week ago. The bought a cutting. I planted it with another plumeria in a pot to get it rooted , but the middle of it started to feel hollow so we took it back. Now mind you we have purchased many cutting from this nursery as well as the many friends that I have referred. The lady told us it was sun burnt. The top of the stick was ok and still had green leaves and under the hollow spot was green. She refused to replace it instead telling us to be quite and listen to explanation until she was done than we could talk . I am 59 years old and have grown Plumerias for 20 years. She would not budge. She had lost a good customer and I will tell all my Plumeria growing friends to take their business elsewhere. All over a $20 stick. I as a business owner would have gladly given another Plumeria cutting knowing that in the future that customer would have told a totally different story than I am telling now. Good bye Upland Nursery I am glad you are doing so well that you do not need to VALUE customer service. Remember the customers are what keep you in business. As I have been writing this 5 friends have written on my Facebook page that they will not be going back to Upland Nursery... So sad ... But that woman knew she was right and now has lost at least 6 customers I wish there was a -1 score read more
