I attempted to pick up my package with my passport which is a government issued identification and he wouldn't allow it. They stole my designer clothes from Louie Vuitton out of my package upon receiving it from California they cut off the original box sticker repackaged it to a new box and changed the weight on the new sticker . When they delivered it i didn't think to check the weight or the contents because of my rush to pick up my kids from school but when i got back i realized they replaced my items with garbage and blank paper. Aside from the fact that this location is in the worst part of town, I was the 6th person in line when I arrived here just before 5:00 on a Monday afternoon. The one employee working the counter was not even at the counter since he was searching all over in the back for a package. He finally appeared five minutes after I walked in the door. Instead of paying the unarmed contract security guard who was just playing on her phone the entire time, perhaps UPS should hire a second employee to work the desk. Joint complaint with this location and the lack of communication with Corporate. Expected an oversize package, 150lbs. I requested hold for pick as soon as I received the tracking information, they stated that it could not be done, had to be delivered. Waiting home deliver day: -5am: Out for deliver. -10am: Notification that delivery rescheduled for next day (for unknown reasons). I call Corporate again to ask to hold for pick up, only to be told, expected delivery is now 5 days later. (No reason why). -1pm: Notification that package is held at location, READY FOR PICK UP. I get there, no package. Package is still on truck, told to come back at closing. -5pm. I happen to be going on errands, as I walk out, who pulling up, UPS Truck. THE WORST HUB EVER!!! The drivers are liars and my packages go missing. They always say "left at front door" when it is left in the lobby. How do I know? Because I live on the first floor and they can't be bothered to walk 10 feet to my door and knock. They leave it anywhere else or not at all, steal it and claim delivered. At what point do you finally admit YOUR DRIVER DOESN'T EVEN TRY TO DELIVER THE PACKAGES? In 2 years I can remember every package I received. We are lucky if we get the simply courtesy of one of those sticky notes-- even luckier if it has an address, even luckier if it actually says the name of the drop off point. USPS, Amazon Courier, FedEx, Lasership (ffs), DHL, ALL deliver here with NO PROBLEM!!! Because their drivers aren't LIARS!! I'm sitting here with a case # from yesterday where I was promised a call "within in an hour" from someone in Asia, of course no call. If someone at UPS would simply NOTICE and check and see that your packages NEVER GET LEFT AT OUR APARTMENT COMPLEX!! seriously!!! How can you let this go so long? I've filled out UPS my choice numerous times, given the access code to the building, given permission to leave it. I will literally sit and wait and no call to my phone, no call from the directory, not even a knock or a sticky note of an attempt, yet it says "I wasn't home" and gets transferred to a pick up point. I have photos from the few times there were "attempt" noticed left of other residents writing "YOU NEVER SHOWED UP I WAS WAITING FOR YOU" UPS, PLEASE I am BEGGING you, look into our route!!! Do something!!! You have a history of tracking numbers to reference and see there is NO courier service being provided. Absolutely horrible place. Last week I was not able to be home to receive the package. I called and they told me that they had it and I could come by between the hours of 8pm-9pm. (Yes only one hour) I show up there at 8pm and there was already a line waiting for the door to open. The door opens, and we proceed to go in just to be informed that the driver was not there yet a mad that they should arrive within 10minutes. Approx. 20 people were waiting for drivers to come in, we waited until 9pm just to be told that they needed to and to come back in two days and that our packages will be there for sure, so we wasted all this time waiting for nothing. Very bad, unreliable service as of late from the UPS driver(s). Claim that they came by, which they didn't, left no door tag so I could not go online and schedule for my package to be left at the local UPS office. UPS has the worst customer service that I have every had the displeasure of dealing with, I would rather have my packages delivered threw FEDEX then UPS at least FEDEX rings your bell to make sure you know your packages are here. Without a doubt the best experience I have received from a mail shipping/receiving facility. The staff was able to handle my issue with the package I waited for all day to come but never did. This is how it is supposed to be. There was someone else at the facility who literally commended the workers on the spot for a job well done. I've had the worst experience with UPS this last week and a half, on 9/20/2016 I was told by the I use to order that it would be delivered to me by the end of the day and it didn't come, ups said the package was unbelievable and they would resend it out the next day and that turned into a week I will send it out the next day. Ups is the worst. They took it upon themselves to reschedule my delivery from Friday Aug 14th to Wed Aug 19th when it was already out for delivery. Its a bed for my kids, so now they have nowhere but the floor to sleep. When I call to see what the problem is they blame Amazon, but it wasn't Amazon who made the change, it was them. Everytime I call I get a different answer. If it's delayed deliver next day, which is Saturday. Ok that's fine, I get delays happen, but even after I was assured by Their OWN CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT that I would get it Saturday, I still did not. They keep telling me they can't make any changes, because amazon made the reschedule... makes no sense. I would give no stars if I could. There is a real communication breakdown between the drivers, UPS locations, Access Points and the call centers. UPS should make it their business to create a synergy of communication that benefits the consumer. For example, if a package is being delivered and the consumer is not avaible, UPS should empower the driver, to automatically send a text message and or call to the consumer with intentions of where the package will be. Once that information is in the system, all UPS attributes ( locations, Access Points,Call Centers and etc) should receive this information. UPS should not be making independent decisions for the consumer to place a package at a location and then claim they contacted the consumer when that did not occur. This kind of breakdown in business and communication only weakens the trust of the consumer and allows competitors to not only steal loyal customers but strategize the shortcomings of UPS and turn them into victories for them and their consumer base.
