I guess this is a hit or miss place. I live in boulder, they left a ticket on my door, but did not specify when they would attempt to make the next delivery so I scheduled a pick up. I'm not sure why, but the pick up was out in commerce city. I received a call this morning saying my package was ready for pick up. I'm here...for 30+ minutes now and still waiting for my package. At first they said they didn't see it on their system. I relistened to the voicemail confirmation to make sure I was in the location. Someone brought a dolly full of boxes and half the people that arrived after me have now left. More people come in and I keep hearing, it's in the warehouse. Why isn't the warehouse and the pick up location connected or closer? Why am I picking up a package 30 miles away when there is a hub in my city? Why do I have to wait 30 minutes without being notified of any status updates? I'm not even sure if they're looking for my package any more. There are 5 people behind the counter sitting and talking with each other. 1 is wearing a safety reflective vest, I'm assuming the others are tellers and it's a shift change. It would be awesome to know they haven't forgotten about me and that my box is on the way. Probably will not be using ups to ship things out. None of my packages gets delivered from UPS. They all sit this Commerce City location while USPS, FedEx, and Amazon Delivery Services all drop my packages off in the secured package room of the building I live in. Tried calling and emailing them. They do not seem to understand the problem which seems to be simple. We sent a package from Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Lathrop, California on 12-16-2022 for "Next Day Delivery" and paid $111.10 to have it sent Overnight. The package got to Commerce City that night at 7:37 pm. The package was then supposed to go to the Denver Airport. The package never got processed at the Denver Airport. We found out and filed a lost package claim with UPS. UPS looked for 1 day and declared it not found. I asked 6 different people at UPS to please continue the search, that the property tax payment was in that envelope. The 6th guy finally told me they can and so he reissued the lost claim. The 5 people I spoke with at UPS were not helpful, were not English speakers and refused to help or let me speak with a supervisor. I finally got one supervisor, but then had to go over his head to another supervisor who finally agreed to reopen the search. USP used to be very helpful and find lost packages, but now they aren't. They sent their call center to an Asian island where English is not spoken much. So, I told the guy that I'll never send anything UPS again. I will advise all of my clients to not use UPS either. We depend on them to do what they say they will. When they don't, they are in breach of their fiduciary duty. Use Fed X instead!!!!! read more

It's taken me a while to write this review, but I want to shout out Dwayne (relatively new employee), Veronica (front desk), Christy (driver), and Heath (security guard), for truly above-and-beyond customer service in our time of need. We recently moved, and ordered a mattress to be delivered to our new home, but unfortunately it was very delayed (by the manufacturing company). We saw that the mattress was supposed to be delivered by UPS one day, but then it was pushed back when we checked later. We called the UPS customer service main number and explained the situation (by this point we had not had a mattress for over a week), and that rep reached out to the UPS customer service center near us. We didn't even expect a call back, but received one from Dwayne, who proceeded to look for our mattress/give us the option to pick it up even though they were close to closing. We were SO grateful that he was understanding and willing to help. Veronica was at the front desk, and she was extremely personable and helpful, even though she probably had to stay late that night. Christy was the driver who brought our mattress from its previous location to this one, and Heath was the security guard who helped us move the mattress into our car. Everyone was so nice and worked well together, and I can't tell you how much we appreciated their help in finally getting us our mattress!! I missed my package at my workplace - twice. They kept me in good communication leaving notes with bar codes and details of how to look up details of my package. There was even an 800 number on the back for me to call with questions. After I JUST missed the package the second time, I called them and we arranged for me to pick it up at this location. After some looking into it, the person on the phone discovered that the driver was still in the neighborhood and we were able to arrange a re-delivery on the same day. I was so grateful that they were willing to work with me so I wouldn't have to drive all the way to Commerce City to get the package. If I could give zero stars I would. This place is worse then the DMV. Their system is incredibly unorganized and ineffective. My time is money and I don't need to waste two plus hours to pick up a package. THey make you sit and wait to pickup your package from another facility and then wait even more time for the ladies to sort through he packages that were brought over which takes another 30 min. I agree with the "why can't I use a zero star rating" comment on a previous review. We ordered a new laptop computer that was to be here last Thursday. Friday was then set for delivery - no show. I called customer service and they 1) wouldn't let me pick it up at the counter; and 2) would not deliver it over the weekend (even though a UPS truck delivered to my neighbor on Saturday!). I tracked the truck on Monday and it was a block away - still no delivery. It is now scheduled for today - Tuesday. You cannot find the phone number for the Commerce City office for obvious reasons. The "800" number just apologizes and does nothing to fix the problem. Don't use UPS!! My computer is certainly lost on their truck!!! read more

My mattress was delayed due to "operating conditions", which was super frustrating! Why the 5 stars then? Because when I went to check on it on Friday in person, they were so nice and professional. Even though I was told that I most likely would not see my mattress until Monday because it was still on a truck to be unloaded, I was told that it would be personally checked on first thing Monday morning and I would get a call. 8am on Monday, I was called to say it was out for delivery and given a number to call back if I wanted to get a specific time. I am assuming AmazonPrime day slammed UPS and even though I am very sick of my air mattress, UPS was nothing but wonderful about their customer service. I think sometimes it pays not to get mad at customer service people. They are just the front of the job and if you are kind, they will usually be kind back! read more

I had an overnight delivery that was not put on a shuttle so they told me it would be 4 more days to get an OVERNIGHT package. After several emails and dozens of searches I finally found it on my own and had to go down and pick it up. They made it very clear they would do nothing to get it to me and they were real sorry for not following up with me. I have to use this business but overnight is not guaranteed....not even if overnight means 5 total days. read more

I received an email on February 26th telling me that a package of mine had been delivered. I was home all day expecting this package and knowing that I'd need to sign for it so I called immediately. I was told someone called and updated the address so it was delivered there but they couldn't tell me who that someone was that made the update. I received a call from someone investigating the case, his name was Tony. He told me he'd give me a call back in 24 hours and when I didn't hear back I called back myself today March 1st. I spoke with Robin who refused to give her last name. She told me the woman who handles situations like mine is out for the day so I would need to call back Monday. I Asked to speak with a supervisor because being told to wait until Monday seemed a bit ridiculous, Robin said she is the supervisor. I told her I'd be calling corporate because this was unacceptable at which point she said, " Well I'm trying to help you but you're just threatening the call corporate". She then placed me on hold and came back and said my package is actually there at the facility, it was never delivered, and I could pick it up. I've never experienced such awful customer service and will never ever work with UPS again. In fact, if I plan to purchase something from someone else and they use UPS as a shipper, they will lose my business as well. read more

A couple weeks ago i had ups hold a large bed frame package because i was going to be out of town for 3 days and the first day i was gone it was delivered. I spoke to their representative and they said that it was on hold and should not have been delivered. All they could do is suggest that i have someone stop by and get the package. Luckily i had my neighbors number and they were able to get it for me. Now, my father paid for overnight shipping for a package from FL and it has now been 2 business days and it has not been delivered yet. I waited at home all day because i need the package ASAP. While I understand that things happen and sometimes shipments are delayed, the tracking clearly show that my package is here at the sorting center. The agent simply told me that I could not get it even though the package contained fresh food item. Frankly, she seemed to care less. This UPS center is the worst. They never ring the bell or knock when they drop of a package, and therefore I have no idea it's sitting outside until I check the shipping and see that it's been delivered. Additionally they have delayed my overnight packages from Amazon almost every single time. It will be out for delivery and then magically it's delayed due to weather or natural disaster. I was waiting for my chemotherapy drugs by UPS. Waited by the front door for 3 days. Called the facility and talked to Karen. She was rude and not helpful at all. Come to find out the driver had been putting message labels on my neighbors door. Obviously he was't paying attention to the address! This wasn't a pair of shoes, but crucial medication that I need. The driver was rude and says: "It happens!" No apology for wasting 3 days of my time, Terrible customer service. Nightmare shipping scenario-I purchased a high value antique camera lens which the seller brought to a Denver UPS store for packaging and shipping. It sat there for two days before getting picked up by the UPS truck. Once picked up it was apparently never scanned, as it is nowhere to be found 16 hours later. This is the Denver hub and I am at this moment on a call with UPS who is waiting for Commerce City to locate this package. The call has lasted nearly one hour with no end in sight. UPS had given me a window the final 2 attempts and still tried to deliver the package hours before the window time. UPS either has a driver that steals my Sephora packages or they drop them off at the wrong place every single time. This is the THIRD sephora package they have "lost." One of the absolute worst companies around. They repeatedly claim to make delivery attempts when someone is in the apartment, they have no idea where your package is most of the time. When you go to pick up after their second "Delivery Attempt" you're usually made to wait around 1 to 2 hours after their said it will be in. Why can't online companies just use the USPS? Terrible customer service. After the UPS delivery driver failed to deliver my package because he "couldn't find my name listed" I called and told them to deliver it the next day anyways. They still didn't deliver it and then i was told to chase the UPS driver all around town to find him at his next drop off because he refused to come back down the street to drop off my package. This is the first negative review I have ever written. For anything!! At this point I am so frustrated by the Commerce City UPS station's ability to be in any way competent at their jobs that I am compelled to write a review. When my order was a day late, I rechecked the tracking code and found that my order couldn't be delivered because the sender didn't add our apt. #. However, when I called, I wasn't allowed to tell them my apt.#, I had to call the sender and tell them to change the apt. #. An annoyance, but I did. Then, they were too incompetent to actually change the address, so I had to call again and inquire about the status of my package. They insisted that I call the sender again---what?! are you serious? I should call the sender for your stupidity? And finally, I was able to get them to enter my apt. # so they could deliver the package. Even with the right address, it took them an additional 5 days to deliver the package, and by then the $100 perishable products were ruined. I wasted $100 of my own money--which UPS offered to do NOTHING about because of their inability to simply DO THEIR JOB. And they didn't just NOT do their job, they took 10 days to NOT do their job. I really really really encourage ALL people to NEVER use UPS. Ever!!! read more

I received a phone call that I had a package available, they told me to call back their 1800 number to find where it is. I wait for 35 mins on the phone and they tell me my Christmas package was at the ups facility on ivy in commerce city, and ready for pick up. I drive 30 mins to pick it up, I waited 25 mins to finally get help. They then tell me it'll be a minimum of an hour and a half to retrieve my package. I had to be at work so I couldn't wait. Then they call me to tell me I have to drive back to pick up my package within 4 days or it will be sent back. I called again this time on hold for over an hour!! I wanted to see if I could have someone pick it up for me, they said no there's nothing I could do, then hung up on me!! I have never received such customer service! This UPS is so shitty. I just paid $150 to have a package overnighted because it was time sensitive. I was on the lookout for the truck and saw it drive up. I immediately walked out on my front porch (which is right next to the apartment entrance) to wait for the delivery driver to come to the door. After 3-4 minutes the truck just pulled off. I went inside and saw "delivery attempt made" when looking at the tracking info. Seriously UPS? Parking on the street for a couple minutes is a delivery attempt? It's now been over 4 hours since then, and I have contacted UPS support 3 times. Each time I was told I would be contacted by the UPS in Commerce City within an hour to resolve the situation. Package delayed (inexplicably) in Commerce City CO hub. When UPS was contacted (because the delay would result in their missing the guaranteed delivery date) the "customer service representative" (I use the phrase loosely) in essence said "well, the tracking doesn't really tell you where the package is and we don't have a delivery date". So in essence-you don't know where the package is, don't know when it will be delivered, and are unworried about missing your "guaranteed delivery date"? Subsequently, the delivery was rescheduled. It was "guaranteed" by Friday-and reset-for MONDAY. While I recognize that they generally charge for Saturday delivery, one would THINK they would have made an effort to achieve a free Saturday delivery given that they missed THEIR guaranteed delivery date-which, given I paid the the seller for both the 5 day shipping AND expedited shipping out of the warehouse should probably have been of SOME concern. They also then informed me that ANY refund for the failed shipping would have to come FROM THE SELLER. I'm not clear on why THEIR failure requires punishing the seller-but apparently UPS is unconcerned with that. If you own a business do NOT use UPS-they will damage YOUR relationship with your customers-and they won't care. Edit to Add: So their "social media help" folks contacted me. They explained that yes-the delivery was delayed because THEIR employee made a mistake. I pointed out the item was now in town as of Friday afternoon and a Saturday delivery would make sense. They agreed and promised it would be "on the truck for Saturday delivery" It hasn't showed up. Their tracking still shows Monday. Quelle surprise I e-mailed them again early in the afternoon. I was suppose to receive a package today. When it didn't show up I called and was told " we didn't receive it until noon today ". I knew that according to tracking the package was received in that facility at 2:36 am. So I asked to speak with a supervisor. After waiting on hold I wasn't actually transfered to a supervisor I was transferred to another associate who then put me on hold again to transfer me to a supervisor. That supervisor informed me " We did get your package this morning, it just got processed late so you won't get it today. " I was then informed I could " just drive to the facility and pick it up ".
