Don't use them I ordered a phone from T-Mobile it said it was out for delivery then @4:15 driver pulled up to my house sat in front of the house for about 5 minutes and pulled off while I was Waiting in the door . The delivery time then went to 7pm then said 9pm long story short It was never delivered then I looked back on the app it said it's at the ups location in Harvey and it was never out for delivery but it was because I have a screenshot that it was indeed out for delivery . If I could've have left 0 stars I would have. There is NO reason to lie about leaving packages when you can take a picture of where you left it. I have been waiting for a package ALL day for the driver to lie about an attempt to delivery! I have proof that NO one showed up. There are cameras outside of the building. Ups center in Harvey, Illinois is the worst delivery service that I have ever had. This is the second time they have lied and said that they brought my package and delivered it to my house and I was home at the time I was outside cleaning my garage so I know they didn't deliver my package, I check my doors. This UPS location seems to choose when to deliver and when to decide to keep your package at their location. This is now the 5th time this year where a package intended to be delivered to my home was switched to "The receiver agreed to pickup the package at a UPS location.". I have never done that! I wasted time going there; they definitely did not have my package. I filed a claim and they kept closing it even though the issue was not resolved. Package was out for delivery at 8:23am for delivery by 7:00pm. I kept checking tracking throughout the day and I work from home too. Then at 5:24 it says receiver changed delivery to pick up. Why in the hell would I do that when it's supposed to be delivered within an hour and a half? I ordered a clothes rack for my sister that was worth over one hundred dollars. The clothes rack showed up as delivered, but my sister never received the package. The UPS driver claimed that he didn't feel comfortable with delivering the package to the back of the house, which is where I have all of my sister's packages delivered to. My sister said, that she had put down salt so that the delivery man could get to the back door of the house, but the delivery driver was lazy and made a decision to sit the package at the front door of the house and the package got stolen! Update: The customer service number was similarly unhelpful. I eventually just paid the original UPS store in Ohio to re-send the item. My family has paid twice for the same items and has wasted a lot of time and effort in attempting to resolve this issue. I am disappointed with UPS' customer service at every level. The fact that UPS is organized along franchise lines does not obviate its duty to its customers. The very least the company could have done was to re-send the items at no additional charge. On 02/08/2019 I live in a building leaving out was expecting a package, my son call and told me the doorbell after I made it to my car but I notice UPS truck leaving from in front on my building, to the next building I ask the driver & helper did they deliver a package in the other building in unit 521, they both said no, usually deliver ring your doorbell for receiving packages and why did my phone and my son phone said the package was delivered, this is horrible and I was told by customer service they can't enter the building like they use too, so they gave my package to another homeowner, and lied and said they leave it , the Fedex and Post Office leave a tag so you can pick your package up at the nearest location, Biggest mistake using UPS ,they gave my package away, I bet if that was them they will handle it careful, I will definitely tell all my friends & family not to use UPS for their shipping or delivery, if you use them aspect to stay at home by the door all day in order to receive your package read more

UPS is doing their usual. I have a package that was due for delivery on 11/1/14, but it has sat in the Harvey facility since 10/30/14. Today is 11/3/14 and the package is not out for delivery meaning it will be at least 3 days late for no reason. They do this all the time. What makes it so bad is that UPS is inflexible on their delivery times, so the customer must be there, even when they are not. They never live up to their own expectations. Maybe things would be better if this facility were not located in Harvey. Oh and Amazon has given me the item for free because of UPS' failed delivery times. read more

The customer service area is an absolute dump, the clerks are as rude as can be acting like asking them to do their jobs is a great inconvenience, and every package I've ever gotten that passed through this facility is always delayed there coming days later than initially expected. Go to FedEx in South Holland instead. It's only a mile or so away, is clean, and the clerks are pleasant and helpful. read more

Horrible! I was given a pick up date and time and they didn't show or notify me that they would not arrive. I tried to reschedule and they couldn;t do it nor could they refund my money. i waited on the phone over half an hour for a supervisor who also did not care and could do nothing for me. Told me to wait until after the weekend to try and reschedule though I told her this was a sensitive medical package with a deadline. Had they not given me a pick up date and time and confirmed it, perhaps I could have found another way to get it dropped off. Now I am totally screwed as this is a time sensitive package. I will try Fed Ex tomorrow morning and see how I fare there, even though I will have to pay for this and my UPS was prepaid by the medical lab. I waited three hours for the pickup and spent an hour and a half on the phone with them and more trying to resolve my issue. Terrible company. They all sounded like robots, reciting a script. Totally inhuman and disgraceful customer service. They need to get their act together. I can understand that with all of the deliveries that they don't always pick up on time. But warn your customers about this before you guarantee something and take some responsibility and fix your errors. Don't make your clients jump through hoops to get answers to simple questions and to get things resolved, especially for issues that UPS is responsible for. Hammond Indiana location. I live in Gary Indiana. I don't actually call my neighborhood "bad" but this UPS driver drives like he is in fear of his life. All year my packages are damaged. Either they are smashed in or wet dirty boot prints on them. This last time my package was said to be delivered. It was not. I believe it was put at the wrong address. The delivery was said to almost 9:00 p.m. UPS said they are not responsible. I then complained about the driver. They calm they would do and investigation. I did a follow up. UPS delivery. Waited for a delivery yesterday, Tuesday, September 25, 2018 until around 7pm. Received an email reading I was not available for delivery. Umm, NOT True, I am here, home waiting . UPS never rang my bell nor did I see a UPS truck. This situation has happened several times and I have called to log complaints, evidently to no avail. Today, Wednesday, September 26, 2018, home waiting for UPS, I go out to meet my neighbor and what do I see my package in the vestibule. UPS driver never contacted me, no ringing of bell or anything. I have had packages stolen because of this procedure, I have asked that my packages not be left in the vestibule (the driver and customer service). I live in a condo and my vestibule is accessible from street/the parking lot. The door doesn't lock anyone can enter the vestibule. And yes, I have tried to leave instructions on My UPS Choice. There is no setting for do not leave my package if I am not home. However, the driver would have to check to know if I am home or not. Very disappointed still and again with UPS. read more

This UPS location and company in general deserves no stars. Each and EVERY TIME I order items that have to be shipped through this center my pacakages are never delivered! The drivers always say my house is vacant or I moved. First off, apparently they can't read because they clearly go to the house two doors down from my address that is not only incorrect but is vacant. The drivers do not read, which I thought was a requirement for a delivery job. The first time it happened my package was left in front of an abandoned house with grass pass my ankles that was clearly not mt address. The manager acted as if it wasn't a big deal at all. The second, third and fourth time they noted that I moved. How? No delivery truck ever came to my house. They are liars and when you go into the customer service center the staff are not pleasant. I'd like to call out the exceptional service I received at the Harvey UPS distribution center. My son had a package which was delayed by one day for delivery. No biggie except it was something he'd ordered online for his Senior Picture day the next day. This is by no means earth shattering but there is only one HS Senior Picture day. Anyway, seeing how disappointed he was I decided to try my luck at the main distribution center very early the next morning to see if I could retrieve the package before it was sent out for delivery so he could have it for school. While every employee I encountered was kind and friendly, I'd like to call out Lauri and Ken for taking the initiative to help in a situation where surely were not obligated to do so. They took the time to search through 8 bags of items scheduled to go out and found my son's package!! We are both so very grateful!! Thumbs Up UPS!!!! read more

Went here to return UVerse equipment only to be told that I had to go to a UPS store. I was given a flyer for the nearest location (2.3 miles) and told that it closed at 7pm. I got to the store at 636 only to find out that they stopped processing UVerse orders at 630pm even though they closed at 7. This location should have told me that if I spoke with someone there at 630pm. Now I have to go back on another day but it will not be to the location I was sent to. read more

I have had the most terrible experience with this center. I ordered a package over 50 lbs and I got home and it was left in from of my door in my condo building. I live on the third floor so of course I couldn't carry it up the stairs. It was also blocking the doorway so we all know that is a fire hazard. I immediately called the company who delivered it and asked if someone could come back and carry it up the stairs for me and they said they were about to close but they could see if they could get someone. I ended up calling someone else who lives on the other side of town to help me carry the package up the stairs. I called corporate who then notified the center and once I got a call from one of the managers at the center, she immediately had an attitude and told me that it was nothing she could do.
