I had brought in 3 bags of clothes and asked if they could do it first because my washer and dryer broke and they said yes, so a couple of days go by and I get a massage saying that they couldn't process the order and also that all my clothes were wet, meaning they also wet my clothes because my friend and I bagged everything for the guy because he looked at it and didn't want to do it. Thankfully one of their employees told me to go to river oaks cleaners and they took actually care of everything. IMHO, the fact that they did NOT damage the wedding clothes is the primary reason for my overall 2-star rating - same for Quality. Again, IMHO, One star for Value - The prices quoted were several dollars higher than quoted - they said that it was because of the material (silk) even though the same person who took the clothes in and went back presumably to talk with the manager was also the one who checked me out. Dropped of midday and was quoted after 6PM the following day. That's almost 48 hours. Needless to add that that's only one hour before closing time. Additionally, there is no posted price list on the website or the store. Last they offer a 50% off dry cleaning for first timers, but you must tell them when dropping off--not during pickup. Feels silly since they tell you about the deal after you drop off, once it's too late. Make it make sense. read more

Overpriced and staff are not consistently pleasant. Staff was very rude and unprofessional at drop off- I almost posted a very negative review at the time, but I decided to wait until after I picked up my items. The same person was very pleasant at pick up though. Forget the first-time customer discount, unless you're taking clothes only. Turnaround for household items is 2-3 weeks! All other dry cleaners in Houston that I've used can get drapes and blankets and comforters back in less than one week, usually only a few days. At drop off, I asked a question about whether they cleaned by a certain method (as posted on their site), and the person who helped me looked at me like I was inconveniencing him. He checked the cleaning instructions on the tag of the item I was dropping off, and said "they'll know what to do...". He followed with something to the effect of "they'll call you if it's something they can't do". I appreciate that, but shouldn't someone who works there know whether or not to accept an item? At least understand what types of cleaning services are offered, so that there's no chance of someone dropping off an item that won't be cleaned. As a side note, I posed a similar question to the desk agent at another location, and with a bewildered look, she responded, "Um I don't know. We just do regular cleaning here". At least the Shepherd location is clean and looks nice inside, which I absolutely can't say for another location. They did a decent job with my items, but for the price, they could and should have packaged them better. They certainly didn't use the nice bags that they have on display. Bottom line for the Shepherd location: try it. They did a decent job. Just be aware that there are equally good dry cleaners that are not overpriced and that provide a better customer experience overall. read more

I went to this cleaner because of the location and the 50% discount for first timers. To get the discount, you have to show a paper coupon that I could not find on the website; however, the employee was kind and gave it to me anyway. I dropped a dress off on a Friday and was told it would be ready that following Monday after 6pm. I went to pick it up on Wednesday and was told it wasn't ready. I asked why, and the employee said it was due to the ice storm. That is totally valid, but I asked why they don't call to inform that it wouldn't be ready on time, to which he rudely replied "nobody was here" and just stared at me. When I went back on Friday, the dress was ready and the employee was slightly nicer, but the dress didn't smell clean at all. Due to the bad customer service and low quality cleaning, I will not be returning to this business. read more

Highly dissatisfied. I came to this dry cleaner as it was highly recommended on Google and NextDoor. However, much to my dismay, I would never have recommended this place to anyone. On the positive side, the service is fast and they offer same day service. First time customers get 50% off. On the negative side, it cost $50 (WITH 50% OFF) to dryclean 5 shirts, 1 pair of suit pants, 1 dress, and launder 2 men's shirts. I specifically came to have my business shirts ironed as it's truly a pain to do at home... however, I believe I could've certainly done a better job myself on some of these shirts (photos attached). There's also strange fuzz that's made its way into several of my white shirts, also documented by photo. Furthermore, the suit pants I brought seem to be DESTROYED. The iron or press or whatever was used must have been much too hot. The pants weren't inside out, as made evident by the seam markings, and now they have unsightly lines around each seam. I plan to return tomorrow and see what can be done, but I do not have high hopes. Truly an all around bummer and waste of hard earned cash. read more

I have been coming here often since they opened, and have never had any problems. I have dropped off suits, slacks, sports coats, jerseys, and probably close to 100 button down shirts over the course of a few months, and everything has always been returned in great condition. They are very fast and offer same day dry cleaning if you get there before 9AM, and if not, it will still be ready by next day. One time, they called to let me know one of my shirts would not be ready for one extra day because they noticed a stain on it and wanted to make sure they got it out, which I greatly appreciated. I have never dropped off any female clothes such as dresses, so I can't comment on that. However, I have been satisfied with all the mens clothing I have ever taken there. Staff is also incredibly friendly, and always fun to chat with. The space is also very clean and modern, and they have complimentary water and coffee for customers. I have not been to a ton of other places in the area, so I am not sure how the pricing compares, but from what I can tell the pricing is pretty reasonable.
