Ash is an absolute wizard. My husbands hair hasn't looked this good since 2016. We have the photos to prove it. My husbands hair is a difficult cut. It's thick. There are cowlicks and I want him to look like a 90s heartthrob while he wants to be a northeastern mountain man. The Salon Lofts facility was clean and there was tons of parking. His private studio (#13) has a stylish and comfortable vibe. I moved from Chicago looking around for a barber that can : 1. Listen to what I want 2. Be a subject matter expert 3. Give a good fade 4. Know how to work on my hair unit I found ash just searching on google and saw he has great reviews. Gave him a call, he told me his soonest available (next day) and I was booked. I ran about 10 minutes late arriving to my appointment but no worries at all, Ash was very accommodating. I also made sure to keep in communication about arriving late. I also forgot to mention to him I have a hair unit until I got there but he was more than up for the challenge. He took his time and talked me through options and what he thinks would be the best look - love this, not only did he listen to me but he also gave his input. In the end I have a great fade that blends into my hair unit and a great beard trim as well (he made my chin look more prominent with a trim, now that's skill). I am very happy with my overall experience, but and beard trim. In my opinion, best barber in Orlando. The shop it's self is the very nice. Located at the contemporary styled iStudio Salons off of Colonial, it's not your normal barbershop. He has his own comfortably spacious unit where he has everything you need such as a TV, cable, dvd/blu ray player, radio, drinks, and movies. When you go to UpTown 13, you really feel like you're getting a VIP experience. I'll never go back to the normal barbershop setup. Ash himself as a barber is the best I've come across. I usually get a high fade or undercut with medium/long curly hair on top. His fading skills and attention he puts on his work are part of what make me a loyal customer, among other qualities. It usually takes about an hour for a hair cut including trimming my mustache and beard. He offers shampoo and conditioning after your cut also. Very nice guy and easy to talk to.
