If you're unable to find parking, there's a free 3-level parking garage on the north side. There is also a 1-3 bedroom residential apartment building behind the shopping center offering community amenities and select home features. There is a lot of traffic going in and coming out of Uptown Boca. For my second time being here, it appears to be a very nice area to come to shop, dine, and socialize. Some other interesting businesses caught my eye which include Padrinos Cuban Restaurant that has excellent pulled pork sandwiches and margaritas, Dick's Sporting Goods, Domino's Pizza, State Farm, UPS Store, Rosalia's, Salonz, Prime IV, Five Below, Panera, Kawa Orthodondists, Gifts & More, Massage Envy, Ramen Lab Eatery, MyEyeDr, Supercuts and Denny's Fashion.

On Wednesday night I came to attend the opening of Cream Nation, a new ice cream shop. My visit gave me a chance to see how much has changed in Mission Bay. One difference of note was that the Hurricane Grill and Wings at the end with the plaza was out of business as well as the large Toys R Us. However they have now added Cream Nation. There is a good mix of shopping and dining in the plaza. Dining options include Tijuana Flats, Panera Bread, Dominos, Jon Smith Subs, and First Watch just to make a few. For shopping there is Hallmark, Dicks Sporting Goods, Fresh Market, and Office Depot. You can go to the gym at LA Fitness, have you clothes cleaned, hair cut, nails done or visit a physical therapist, eye doctor, or dentist. If you have a few errands to get done this plaza is probably your answer.

I have been coming To Palmetto Park Square for years. When my daughter was a toddler we would pick up donuts to take to the park from the long since closed Krispy Kreme. For many years the plaza had one of the last K-Marts around. It has been abandoned for years now although it is currently hosting a Spirit Halloween. It is a real eye sore and should be torn down so it can be replaced. On the day after Christmas you can always find me at the Hallmark scooping up the half priced Christmas ornaments and decorations. I have eaten at the Denny's, gotten take out from the Chinese restaurant, and the Keke Cafe has been a recent discovery that has now become a favorite breakfast and lunch spot. Palmetto Park Square is really close to I-95 and that along with the great mix of businesses keeps me coming back.

It's considered a combination shopping, dining and entertainment destination and one of the newer ones in Delray. It's got a plethora of stores and about 9 restaurants as well as places for yogurt, chocolates, and candies. Some of the restaurants like Burt's have been there since it opened. And some (like Terra) are newer. A few favorites have closed, but there's always something to see while strolling the easily walkable center. At the northern end, is the movie theater and entertainment center with bowling and arcade games, etc. We had stopped for dinner with friends at Batch and then enjoyed strolling and exploring. It was a lovely comfortable night to be out and about. And a lot of other folks agreed.
