Uptown Hearth is cute! The walk-up area, the little dining room area, and the beautiful pastries, it's all adorable. Service is warm and friendly and coffees/teas come out hella fast! Couldn't give a higher rating though, because I requested a milk alternative and was instead given cow's milk; being lactose intolerant, that was a huge digestive drag and put a real damper on my afternoon!

Good food and friendly service. Looks like a lot of the menu pictures are old though. Was looking forward to croque madame but that was too long ago. Got the breakfast sandwich and that was awesome. They grind their own beans which is cool. Coffee flavor was great but wasn't very hot which was the only let down.

Excellent bakery/cafe! My friend has been in several times and was excited to share this place with me. We came in for lunch just before closing and it was still pretty busy so I can see how popular it is with both locals and travelers. We came for food, but all the pastries looked amazing too. I got the black and blue sandwich with the lemon miso home fries, it was excellent! The flavors were balanced and really tied together nicely. Those home fries were some of the best potatoes I've ever had, I highly recommend them. Additionally we bought a loaf of sourdough for our homemade soup that same night and it was the perfect companion. It was so nice to have homemade bread to enhance our meal.

We had such a great experience at Uptown Hearth during our vacation to Glacier National Park. We ordered a morning bun, basic breakfast, and Beef and Blue sandwich, which were all delicious. The home fries were also worth mentioning because they had the perfect level of crispiness and seasoning, and the Costa Rican coffee and matcha iced tea were also excellent. But what truly stood out was the hospitality of the staff. When we mentioned we were planning to grill steaks at our cabin but didn't have any seasoning, the staff went out of their way to pack us salt and pepper in small containers to go. It's those small, thoughtful gestures which transform a great meal into a memorable vacation experience. Thanks again to the amazing staff at Uptown Hearth for the awesome food and exceptional service. Dining at your restaurant was totally worth the drive from West Glacier, and we'll definitely be back before our trip is over.

I stopped by Uptown Hearty after landing at the airport (only about a 15-minute drive!) and it was the perfect place to relax and grab a bite. The cafe has a bright, welcoming atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the OG Breakfast Sandi, and it was delicious--fresh, flavorful, and a great start to the day. They offer small-batch artisan hearth breads, savory and sweet baked goods, a breakfast and lunch menu, plus good coffee, so there's something for everyone. Ordering at the counter was easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely a spot I'd recommend if you're looking for a cozy, casual cafe with nice food.

Amazing coffee and quick eats in the glacier area. Highly recommend the lattes and the burrito. Staff was nice and helpful too. Plenty of seating and everything was clean. The mozzarella pesto pastry was also really good too. I would come back here 100%.

What an excellent business for Colombia Falls! I am so happy I stumbled upon this while waiting for my flight out! Wonderful atmosphere, staff making fresh baked goods in view, house made ingredients and syrups for drinks, wonderful service. Even a couple gluten free baked goods options! Highly recommend!!

Great cafe for breakfast or lunch. Large space with plenty of room to stretch out or meet with a group of friends. Small menu but something for everyone I think. Great service and super tidy.

I have a service dog. I asked after I had ordered my latte and croissant if I could get a small pup cup. "No." Okayyyy. Other than the rude dude taking orders, the vanilla latte was pretty and very tasty. The croissant with ham and cheese was also delicious and the croissant was flaky and big. Their patio is nice and they do have Wi-Fi but you have to ask for the password a little pricey, but everything close to Glacier national Park is more expensive, it seems.

We stopped for food on our way to the park. The burritos were delicious and hearty. The coffee was great, my husband is a coffee snob and he said it is some of the best he had. It is rare to find a consistent 5 star on Yelp but this place deserves it.

Great food and fab environment. I had the breakfast biscuit -- super tasty. Also really loved the latte.

Great place for coworking. I spent three days here this week and I could t be happier. INCREDIBLE staff, the are incredibly friendly and helpful. Don't hesitate to go grab someone from the coffee shop if you have any issues with the coworking space. Be warned, if you just want free/quick WiFi, this coffee shop doesn't have it. You have to pay for a day pass to get WiFi.

At this establishment, you order at the counter, and they bring it to you. I tried the nester cheesy scramble with tots and their outlaw sauce. I also ordered a side of their fried pickles. The outlaw sauce has a nice flavor and was lightly drizzled over the scramble. The tots were fantastic and among the best that I have tried. The rest of the dish was solid, and I had no complaints. The fried pickles were thin strips of pickle with a disproportionate amount of breading. They were paired with ranch. The flavors were okay, but it all congealed into a cluster of grease. I think it would have been better if they fried pickle chips in the same batter instead of the thin strips. Overall, I think there is a lot to like about the Outlaw Diner, and I would recommend them for a casual breakfast in Columbia Falls.

There is only scrambled of hard cooked egg. ***No yolky eggs*** and no pancakes. We didn't realize coming in. And when we got the cheesy scrambler, the eggs were VERY "wet". Now I don't want to start any rumor but they were very similar to how hotel breakfasts boil bags of prepackaged scrambled eggs then chop it up and serve it. Point being, unsure if they were fresh. I'm pregnant so I was skeptical at first to eat since they were so wet and runny. My husbands chicken fried steak was square. Another indication he thought it was prepackaged frozen. Both came with size of potato's and they were great! Crunchy on outside and soft on inside My toddler got the French toast sticks though and those were so yummy. They gave him crayons and a coloring paper which was nice! High chairs are available. My husband just assumed it all was reheated from the freezer isle. But I'm less difficult to impress, especially for breakfast, and usually he is too just something felt off here. And if the runny eggs didn't make me question than I probably would've never noticed anything. The woman working was so sweet and attentive. Old-school diner feel. It is self seating and you order at the counter. There was only one other couple there with us, not busy at all. Went on a Monday morning.

We arrived shortly after six on a Monday evening, easily found parking and, while about half the tables were full, we were seated quickly. Our waiter was kind but seemed nervous, reading the specials from a note pad. We started with sourdough and an order of calamari (yes, I know there isn't fresh squid within a hundred miles, it's one of our "always order to see what's up" dishes). Bread came out quickly with olive oil, balsamic, and some minced garlic - quite nice. A few minutes later, calamari - lightly breaded, perfectly fried, and a bit bland. It felt like they'd perfectly executed their vision, but it could've used a bit more seasoning to my taste. No tarter or other sauce, but a half lemon and some pickled sweet peppers. I ordered the bison burger and my wife went with the walleye. My burger was medium rare, as ordered, but the bottom bun was soggy and everything was buried in the thinly sliced red onion. It was fine but sadly forgettable other than having to slurp slices of onion after each bite. My wife raved about her walleye though, basically describing it as elevated nostalgia. It took her back to days of fishing on the lake with her family as a girl, but perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. We finished with an espresso crème brûlée, which took about 20 minute after our meal to arrive. Apparently the chef was newer and accidentally put pistachios on the brûlée, as we got the last espresso and the next batch was pistachio flavored. We didn't mind, but it had the thickest crust I've ever seen on a brûlée - probably an eighth inch thick. It took two solid whacks to break through and was so thick it felt more like a burnt caramel. The crème itself was lovely but, as someone who prepared hundreds of brûlées in an earlier job and has eaten many since, it was sadly overshadowed by far too much sugar on top. It was an overall pleasant experience but honestly I owe much of that to the company of my wife. If we go back, the only thing we'd reorder is the sourdough to start. My wife loved her fish but still said she'd try something else next time.
