My intentions is only here to try my best, so this is why im here to explain! First of all we had schedule to start between 11am-12pm! As for me when it comes to bigger pieces i prefer to start the earliest as possible to take my time n be on a clear midset! Second of all i always give a my client a text early in the morning or nite before to confirm our appointment! So when i did for my client, he responded 1 or 3 even after we had discussed a perfect time and day n explained the process for the session! I had to explain once again! This shit aint no in n out or burger king n come whenever u want just because u put a deposit! I understand sometimes shit happens or lil traffic but with no heads up or text, that shit aint koo! In 1-3 hours i could have done another koo tattoo or two and make the most out of my day! I got bills to pay too ! Third of all he asked me if its okay to drink alcohol before n i had said no just for the fact that i didnt know who he was, never tattooed him or know his reactions! I personally do not drink or like the smell and taste! After the stencil was on he asked to get something to eat, comes back with a coke bottle? Throughtout the whole tattoo breathing n blowing air in face smelling like liquor made it super uncomfortable n difficult to stay focused after I repeatedly told him to stop or breath the other way! Thru the whole process he kept asking to take a bathroom break after i repeatedly explain myself on best to take 1 hour or 1 hour 30 min breaks to make the process more smoother! What got me more upset was he was yelling and grunting (muthafucker) towards me after I had told him to stop several times! Everyone knows I have a lot of patience when it comes to people but when there like this, its like come on bro? This shit is going on you forever, he had also asked if this was going to take 1-2 hours! ‍ i was already devastated since the beginning knowing i was putting my full effort into someone like this especially for the price! Took me bout 6-7 hours tattooing and 3-5 hours preparing! For something like this should be worth at least $800 read more

This was my worst shop I ever been to. I've been tattooed a lot of places and wanted to check out the local shop by my house. I walked up and the short bald shirtless homie out front smoking a cigarette asked what I wanted. I told him some script on the back of head. He smelled like Fucking booze and started to tell me his prices for script. I tried telling him I wanted to see some portfolios first. I've had bad script done and figured this place was good for it. He then told me he was the only artist available that day and that I'd have to get it from him. Long story short I didn't like the way he was pushing on me. When I told him to get out of my way he started shouting SKIN HEAD SKIN HEAD SKIN HEAD and kicking the brick wall and telling me to leave. Screw this place. Great work done by Carlos, I had been seeing his work via Instagram and decided to book an appointment for the next day. We set the time& I was excited to find out the shop was in Whittier because I used to hang around this area when I was younger and it definitely brought back some good memories. Carlos welcomed me and my wife into the shop and helped me find the design I was looking for. He did a really great job making us feel welcomed and the overall experience of my first tattoo was Awesome. He made a few stencils and got a few different opinions from other workers there, in my thoughts, I really felt like he was putting a lot of effort in this piece and took his time to make sure it was what I wanted. It's done. I'm sorry this happened but it's done. After a December 9th hearing, one of the co-owners had his former employee return my deposit. I forwent the court fees as it was not about the money. It took the better part of a year to get a deposit refunded and even then only because the sum was negligible and judged correctly by the defendants to be an unprofitable disputation, a further waste of time.
