The inventory of mirrors, brass pieces, and glassware is something to see! The people here are helpful and knowledgeable, feel free to pick their brains! They know antiques and history! They said they don't hold items if you don't want to pay over the phone with CC. I never asked for a hold and they never told me that may trip may be in vain. Truly unbelievable. I will never step foot in that raggedy shop again. Tina is condescending nice/nasty person. And the guy up front at the desk isn't too far behind. We were looking for a place that was open for some thrifting on a Sunday and we ran into this. I hadn't heard of it before and was so happy we stumbled upon it. The person running the shop when we visited was this extremely kind music producer. He was easy to talk to and really kind. There were several rooms filled with unique and beautiful things. I love how this store is a combo of an antique store and used record store. You can find the music in the back. We found some really pretty things. Do know this place isn't cheap, you can end up spending high prices, but there are quality pieces. I've been wanting to buy a pair of rollerskates for a long time and ran into a pair that were my size. I took that as a sign and decided to take them home with me. I'd recommend checking this charming shop out, just know that the prices are higher, but it's a great collection of stuff.

She also had pre-selected several vintage six-panel doors for my review. Once on site, the Caravati team made my problems and challenges their own, finding a perfect pair industrial nickel-plated handles for my old oak icebox project and then eagerly volunteering to do some work to convert them from working levers to rigid pulls. Stocking vintage hardware and architectural pieces is one thing. Helping clients actually pull together the PERFECT sets of door hardware -- including glass knobs, backplates, mortise locks, catches, hinges, and screws is next level. He will try and gain trust with his " we're friends" and "little boy" demeanor. He will also grossly undervalue your jewelry, if you are selling, and flip through his phone hastily while showing you photos while constantly " fast talking". He does not hold jewelry 15 days. He "flips" it immediately to a co-conspirator, " Donna" who sells it at auction. It took me awhile to catch on to his Fraud. Certainly the owners, who do not work there, must be aware he is running an illicit " cash only" undocumented scam. Anyone who works there is turning a blind eye or complicit with Billy's scam. Apparently, it's a " tax write off" business and a cover for construction and insurance " business". The employees who handle the "home furnishings" are pleasant. However, they are not the " gold or jewelry buyers". Undocumented tax free cash directly into Billy " the gold buyer" pocket or bag. Fraud. Take your jewelry, silver and gold to Mark at Carreras Jewelers. He is licensed, professional, fair and documents every transaction. Carreras Jewelers is reputable.
