Its so cute and trendy this coffee shop! Right when we walked in the smell of baked goods and coffee smelt amazing. I ordered a chocochip cookie and a wrapped chocolate rice crispy treat looking thing lol also ordered an iced butterbear and mine was the white chocolate one how did I forget. The baked goods 10/10 actually wished I would have gotten more cookies and pastries they have a variety and they all look so good. But this cookie sinful i had to share mine and I wasnt happy. The coffees was ok but not strong and thats my preference and also I only ordered a couple so ill be back to tests the others. The service also was friendly and quick. Overall please dont eat all those cookies cause im going to need some. Also they do close early so get there on time. read more

If you are tired of the cookie cutter coffee experience, I highly recommend Urban Grange. They have their own roast of very good coffee (including Swiss Water processed decaf), the baristas are friendly, it's very cozy, and they have a great variety of baked goods. You won't find a better Americano or Baked Oatmeal Cookie in any place that rhymes with Bar Ducks or Hutch Mothers. read more

Can I just say, I love this place and all their offerings. Staff are welcoming always. Their monthly drink specials are always fun and creative. I got the Energized Lemonade. It was so refreshing and boy did it give me a bit of jazz as later that morning I picked 30 lbs of cherries!! It was a really busy morning yet the staff was still friendly and smiling. We ordered pumpkin cold brew which was unfortunately awful. It didn't taste like cold brew rather coffee over ice. It was watered down and the color of a Yoo-hoo. We ended up throwing them away. Based on this experience we likely won't go back, but certainly couldn't rate this the worst coffee experience in Salem. read more

I've been here probably at least a dozen times, and while the drinks and food are great, the service is pretty horrible. They seem annoyed whenever I have a question, and just get really annoyed that they have to do their jobs. It's really sad to see because I love the place, but the lack of customer service makes it really hard to want to frequently go there. read more

I stopped in and got a Peppermint bark mocha and a lemon scone. The lemon scone was so good. Lemony and wonderful. My coffee was just how I like it - dark - and it was yummy. Incredible. My original review of Urban Grange reflected a poor experience with soured milk, but I've never been so happy to give a place another chance. I've now visited Urban Grange Coffee over a dozen times, and each visit has been better than the last. Consistently remarkable technique, fast and friendly service, and an always clean and cozy interior make Urban Grange the perfect place to visit for a work-from-home getaway. This cafe has something for everyone, with drinks that range from a well-pulled traditional "spotted" macchiato to the most intense sugar bombs you've ever seen. Any drink can be made with medium, dark, or decaf roasts. The music is kept low but audible, never overwhelming, and always well-curated. The seating varies from small tables along the wall with plenty of outlets, to cozy leather loungers, to folding chairs along the covered patio. The final thing I should note is the bagels. There's a great variety (including pumpernickel!) but limited stock, so come early or be ready to adjust your order. There are no bad options here, so it's not worth stressing about. read more

Never been to Salem before- Checked Yelp for a non-Starbucks option & found this cute cafe in little strip mall. Easy parking out front. The pastries all looked AMAZING , I picked lemon scone which was fresh & yummy. Wish I had also bought the Mario berry & mocha scones & lemon cookie. Coffees were strong & everyone loved their drinks ( iced mocha w real whip -not that crappy stuff and iced lattes) Staff were super friendly, gave us coffee & ice in separate cups so it wouldn't all melt by the time we returned from our coffee run. The staff always greet you as you walk in and they have some of the most wonderful fresh-made pastries. The SCONES!!!! Absolute perfection, at least mine was, had the Marionberry scone and threw it in their toaster/warmer and it was just divine. I was thinking perhaps it was e beat marionberry scone that is ever had, but my thoughts immediately nixed that as it was simply the BEST scone I'd ever had! I got a raspberry almond cold brew from the May specials, which was a little sweet for my taste but overall still smooth and delicious, and I got a chocolate chip hazelnut scone which I will be returning for. TL;DR: Cute! I have seen the posts for this little coffee shop on Facebook for awhile now so I decided to stop by. If any of you are from Hillsboro (OR), this place is similar to Insomnia. I was immediately put at ease. The place was calm and friendly. There is a collection of furniture, plenty of seating and tables, great decorations, and vibes. The cashier (brunette woman, so sorry I didn't get your name!) was beyond friendly. She gave me a run down of the place, answered all my questions, and was so kind. She let me know they make their pastries fresh every morning and get their bagels directly from Portland daily. I got a caramel mocha and a mocha scone. Both were SO good!! I can't wait to come back. I plan on camping out here (and of course staying stocked up on coffee and snacks) while I study for my finals. I wish they had electronic tipping as I don't carry cash. read more

Very tasty, soft and with a nice moist icing, instead of the dry and hard sugary icing the average coffee shop pastry has. The place has a relaxed atmosphere that is very welcoming. Though it is actually in West Salem and out of Salem's downtown area, it is definitively worth crossing the bridge over the Willamette river to have a coffee and pastry there. read more

Visiting family and not wanting to offend their decision to serve a dark roast from Peets(which I am not saying is bad) just not my favorite. I am a light roast gal. And the darker roast do a number on my tummy. Getting old and all But anywho I digress. I had UG coffee the last time we visited and knew the flavor profile would be right up my alley and not to acidic. We stopped by to get some beans to take home. I asked for suggestions. The gal behind the counter was super plesant and with a smile gave me to great options. The Ethiopian blend is the one I took home and super glad I did! The absolute BEST scones I have ever had! My favorite is the marionberry scone -- it's amazing!! He had just pulled them FRESH out of oven and they were still warm! Rich, flaky crust...buttery, moist center...with sweet yet tangy marionberries that burst in your mouth when you bite into it!!
