You order by scanning the QR code The only hiccup was some of the items I wanted were not on the online menu like the gf cheddar date biscuit. We didn't want to stand in a long line to order so Shane came over to help us. He had us order something similar in the app and then told the coffee side and the kitchen our modifications. The food was amazing. I had the protein bowl with bacon but no egg as requested. They were kind enough to add double bacon. I also ordered avocado but they forgot it and were happy to add it later. Flavors were amazing. The Wenatchee toast was delicious along with the cheddar date gf biscuit. The dirty egg nog chai is fabulous and seasonal so get it before it's gone. You can also do grab and go and find seating in the main room. The food and heart of this place are 5 stars. Giving 4 stars today because of the ordering headache. Great coffee/breakfast place directly on the block we live. They have really good breakfast sandwiches as well as a large food menu for other dishes. Coffee has been hit or miss, one time it was great, the next time it was a sugar bomb. If they could get their consistency down they'd likely be the best coffee shop in town. read more

I enjoy going to Isaac's to work or even just chill with friends! They have coffee, wine, cider, and more for drinks! A little something for everyone! This week I was there around lunch time and enjoyed their ham and cheddar sandwich, that comes with chips, for about $10 is a good deal! It was also very tasty and I would definitely get again! The service is good, since they're frequently busy you have to order at the counter but it works out! On our Oregon road trip this year, Salem was about a halfway point of driving so we decided to stop here for lunch. It was a really rainy day so we mostly just saw the city in the car. Downtown they had free garages so we chose one to check out a nearby game store and decided on this place for lunch. It was a popular place! We were here on a weekday lunch and the crowd looked professional, thanks to it being nearby the Capitol. They had coffee, light food and snacks, and a few local beer selections. I had a wonderful curry chicken sandwich and an IPA; we all tried different things and all happy with our choices. The cafe has high ceilings, cozy lighting, and plenty of seating for singles or groups. There's also an overflow room to the right side. You order at the main counter and get a number, then they bring your food and bus the tables as you go. read more

I made a reservation the night before and just walked in, thank god I made the reservation because there was a line out the door! They have expanded seating for sit down where you order off the QR code. Such a nice rustic place, the tall ceilings made it very inviting. We got 3 bagels, the farmhouse, greenhouse, and a Bronx. They were all so tasty, though they needed WAY more cream cheese! The ingredients were delicious and the sandwiches were beautifully constructed. Only takeaway.... MORE CREAM CHEESE!! Definitely a go to spot for a good coffee and bagel sandwich. And they still have peppermint in February?! That's a win for me. read more

Anyways I had the best CINNAMON ROOL on the planet the dough .... it was like perfectly baked and not hard at all on the outside or crusty and it was just so so good!! This is one of my favorite places! The wine selection is good, a little for every pallet. The food is freshly made and delicious. I have tried about half the sandwiches and haven't hated any so far. Their pastries are always fresh and moist. You really can't go wrong. The service is quick and friendly. They are able to give you suggestions that really help. Love the setup and how it feels like you need to take out your book or your laptop and relax with your food or drink. I love that they add pistachios to their bagel and lox, superb. The chicken curry salad is wonderful, and so is their chipotle turkey. I love that they use Metolius tea!! I don't drink much coffee nowadays, but their tea in a latte is the pick me up I need some days. read more

The coffee is decent and the lady who has a tint of blue hair in her black hair and wears glasses is exceptionally nice - she was also cashiering. But the lady making drinks who looked older creates a bad tone and vibe for the entire coffee shop, and she doesn't have strong customer service skills. The pleasant lady said their names are Roxi and Sara. Whichever the older lady is with all black hair and a scarf around her neck is the one who isn't very friendly. I walked in today with no one in line thinking it was going to take five minutes. No one was making drinks. Last time breakfast was so+so. Service was slow and did not seem happy to be there. Very crowded and had to sit at a group table which was loud and not particularly clean. Today (8:45 am) I thought I would try Isaac's again. I walked by the half empty dining room on my way to the door. I waited several minutes at the "wait to be seated sign." Twice servers walked by. Two busy baristas looked my way and said nothing. A customer at the counter told me he thought staffing was short so I might have to find someone. A short time later a barista was free and asked if she could help. I asked for a table for one. She explained the dining room was for parties of two or more and I would have to sit in the open area. No tables were available in the open area. The group table was occupied but had space at the end, no thank you. I do not care to sit on bar stools at a narrow bar and look at people walking by while eating my breakfast two feet away. I chose to try another cafe. Caffe Capri was great for a cappuccino and a croissant (wish they had a real breakfast). I will not try Isaac's again. I will return to caffe Capri. read more

We had a bit of a rough experience here. It took us so long to order on our phone using the app. Then when we finally were trying to submit our order, it wouldn't go through for some reason. We ended up having to have one of the employees submit our order for us through their system. Felt like such a waste of time and wasn't an enjoyable experience at all. I hope more places don't adopt this "faster" method of ordering without a server. They also didn't have any salt and pepper on the table. No hot sauce. We had to ask for jam and a knife, which I never got....oh well. Then after all of this, all three of us felt queasy and had stomach issues the rest of the day even though we all ordered different food. I dunno, but we aren't going back. Finally made it to this place recently after really liking their other establishment, Ike's. First, LOVE the architecture of this space. I hope the owners read Yelp comments and will respond back and tell us who their architecture firm was; the two-story ceiling and structural details along with interior furnishings and wall treatments were absolutely spot-on. The barista was efficient and made helpful suggestions. I got the breakfast bowl to go. Bacon was crispy, potatoes were flavorful, and seared cherry tomatoes, egg, nicely caramelized onions, all on a bed of arugula, were delicious, with tahini sauce. Americano coffee was good. Vibe? Pretty intense, to be honest. There isn't much room to stand around waiting for your order near the end of the counter and back hallway, and tables and a thin counter along the windows were full with people giving off a serious vibe (alas yes, the prerequisite laptops were along for the ride). I was there on a very busy morning, so probably there are other times when it doesn't feel so intense. I will absolutely return to try the other creative and delicious-sounding items on their menu, and 100% want to support this place for the good they do in the community on behalf of helping young people get a foothold into working, building careers, etc. I think I like the more laid-back vibe of Ike's better, but also like this downtown location. read more

I had dark roast coffee and a bacon breakfast burrito and it was good--it could have been a little larger. The coffee was great. The to go order was a Bronx bagel and I'm told it was awesome. Excellent place to visit if you're stupid, or like being treated like you were born yesterday. I asked if I could get a 12oz Americano in a 16oz cup and was educated on how espresso works. Approached the counter 40 min after I ordered a standard bfast sammy to ask what was up and was informed that food doesn't appear "instantly." I feel I can go out into the world a better human, knowing that food doesn't just appear out of nowhere at lightspeed and that putting a smaller drink into a larger cup doesn't change it into a regular coffee. The person running food and the person running the register were both genuinely apologetic and had absolutely nothing to do with either situation.
