Despite growing up around here, I somehow never stumbled through these grand entrance gates until recently. This gem of a garden isn't just my butt's savior now on long drives up from LA, but it's a sliver of paradise found--and sanity regained. Just walking around here for 15-20 mins. and you'll feel your blood pressure drop a few notches to a pleasant state of calm. You can explore the themed areas, take in the vegetation around you, and get landscaping tips just from strolling around their property. The plant things are grouped in various climate/hemispheres and it's nice to see them taking root and being incorporated in a seamless design (and it's nice shopping experience too). I was impressed with the selection and bought a few small air plants and succulents that are still thriving with offshoots. Prices are reasonable. For pros looking for inspo, I think this place that can offer Interior Designers & Landscapers creativity with plants. Or even the DIY Weekend Warrior looking to revamp their current landscaping or add a little something new to it. They have a wide variety of exotics, California natives to indigenous to Australia, and every other tree, shrub, and greenery in between. They put in landscaping incorrectly and it all fails. We speak too many other well respected landscapers in town and they all say it's put in all wrong and you'll have to start over. Then they decide they will insist on full payment for their fail job, which also cause property damage. Then, when you try to work it out with them they just sick a layer friend on you. They don't vet their employees. They don't pay attention to the requirements in communities for when you can work, and when you cannot work. They are incredibly unethical group. The hundreds of plants I saw as I walked around looked beautiful and healthy and the place was buzzing with the activity of employees. I decided on the shrubs that I will need, so my landscaper will go back to purchase them for me.

He was profoundly unhelpful and bordered on nasty. He excuse for everything was, "this is a wholesale nursery". I take that to mean that if you are spending thousands of dollars there a month, the don't care! The last straw was when I came to pick up a plant and he said that the whole nursery was on lunch break and I'd have to wait 30-60 minutes. He explained that due to law suits that had to enforce a lunch break. This says a LOT about how they treat their employees. Why they don't stagger their lunch breaks??? Just don't expect good customer service or communication. Aside from T. all of their other employees were thoughtful and helpful.
