I notice with Adun spices, I can use less and still the food packs a flavorful punch. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Super knowledgeable on their items. They have gained a customer for life. I could have spent hours here looking at all the different spices and spice blends and other offerings here! I purchased the Golden Milk blend which is truly amazing. I also purchased Bahart which I've yet to try out, but smells delightful! The Korean chili flakes are very versatile; I've used them on everything from ramen to chicken. The Buckeye Sweet tea blend was a bit lacking in flavor, but perhaps I just need to brew it longer next time. I can't wait to try out more spice blends. Whoever makes these is part scientist/part magician!

For example, I got raw peanuts and they charged roasted peanuts. They told me I was wrong. No I was not because I had to boil them to eat at home. Recently, I was buying jackfruits. So there were 2 signs, both said jackfruits and Chinese characters ( I am not Chinese so I don't know what it said). The cut jackfruit did not have any price label on them so I was assuming the above sign was the price for it per lb. At checkout, it was actually other jackfruit sign price. I questioned why was it the wrong place and the cashier told me look at the pictures. Maybe it was the language barrier but that was so rude. Because of her attitude, I did not buy that jackfruit at all. She mumbled something under her breath in Chinese. I was like excuse me. She didn't respond. This will be my last trip at Park to Shop.

I took one bite and tasted dirt- spit it out and as you see in the photos there's a fuzzy black mold in the food item I bought. This unfortunately shouldn't surprise me given the extremely long history of consistent food safety violations (publicly viewable on county website). Sad they can't get it together after so many complaints.

This women-owned business is just fabulous. They are so helpful, kind and passionate about what they do. This gourmet tasting emporium allows you to sample their olive oils and vinegars. I've learned a lot about cooking since shopping here and am now tuned into all the simple ways you can use it to flavor foods from pasta to ice cream. My best friend…read moreworked here for a few years back in high school and that's what initially drew my attention to it. Later, I married a Puerto Rican woman, which prompted me to return. I primarily shop at this target for its Goya products and latin vegetables. We make our own sofrito and Dave's is one of the few grocery stores that usually carries all of the ingredients that I use. On my most recent visit for sofrito ingredients, Dave's was out of stock on ajito peppers. I substituded some small sweet peppers instead, but they didn't have the same flavor, unfortunately. However, making sofrito in the middle of summer when all of the ingredients are fresh yields the tastiest sofrito. It's hard to find recao leaves, but Dave's keeps them in stock. You can get cilantro, onions, garlic, and tomatoes anywhere. Ajito peppers and recao are really hard to find, except for at Dave's. The store is always clean and they have an excellent in-stock condition.
