Urban Iron Doors Southern Utah, one of the Best companies in Southern Utah. I don't need to wait for a community to verify. We will be contacting them again on another remodel. Professional, fast, great communication, hard working, good clean up and their rates are better than competitor's before you add up the extra work and care provided.
We had a general idea what we wanted in design of the doors but were lacking information about final design & construction details. Mike came to visit, provided the final answers, which we were done with the consultation design in 90 minutes. 1 set of French doors, front door and upper story window shutters. Upon delivery, all installed in a couple days. My wife made a change in the door frame interior and exterior. For an unplanned situation, they made the change and it looks perfect. Great how they accommodated our late change. Mike and Bob are excellent. This company provides the product and installation. A complete no hassle, no worries.
The homeowner difficulty with the competitors; A year prior, we visited Iron works. We purchased French doors. They only sell you doors that are not fully complete. We could only get an estimate of total price. The final price turned out higher. They don't install but contacted a contractor who would do install. The sales rep asked if we could leave a good remark about their service, so we did. You will see it on the internet. However, this was before the trouble and problems occurred. When the doors arrived the door swing was wrong way. A major negative impact to our interior floor plan. The handles were wrong ones. Door is without proper predrilled holes door strike plate and door catch. The screws were too short for the handles. The screen is silver and not attractive. We purchased a short courtyard gate as well, was not measured correctly. Did not compensate for the slope in walkway. It appears when we replied to Iron works about changes and comments before the doors were made, they dropped the ball. It was Nightmare; there was no follow up from them. As you can see, a lot can and will go wrong with just selling you doors and not overseeing installation process nor follow up. Interesting to note, Even home depot has a division that will come out to your home for remodels. They don't care.
As far as the door swing issue, lessons learned, we will not work that company again. Good news, Mike and Bob fix the problems left by them. Urban Iron Doors of Southern Utah is the best.
