This is an extremely well curated store. In this day and age if you're doing anything but shopping…read moreonline, there's a purpose. Maybe it's because you were close to it, or maybe because they had an item you couldn't wait two days for. But, when the store is out of the way, and difficult to get to, there needs to be more of a draw to pay the mark ups. And there are mark ups. About 20% more expensive than other places, and more than that if comparing online. But, the curation of the collection is what makes this place stand out. If you're looking for interesting gifts, or novelty items, there are a lot to be found here for all occasions, and you won't have to wade through a bunch of things that don't suit your needs. Everything is pretty great, and you will see things you didn't even know you wanted because you couldn't even imagine they were things to want. It's a lovely location, and worth the visit just to see what's in stock, if nothing else.

I like the thought of reducing the number of cans and bottles I use when buying pop and sparking drinks. Every little bit helps. I noticed in my inbox that Bed Bath & Beyond had a $20 coupon of an entire order. I decided to use it towards my new Sodastream machine. I also ordered a bottle of raspberry mint syrup to get started on my adventure making fizzy drinks. I ordered online and used my coupon to get $20 off my order. I chose to pick up both items. The minor problem? The Sodastream model that I wanted was available at my local Markham location and not at this store. My raspberry mint syrup was in stock here, but not at the Markham store. Yes, I visited two different Bed Bath & Beyond stores within two hours. It was nice getting reacquainted with them. This store is with a bunch of box stores, including Winners, PetSmart, Best Buy, and more. There was plenty of parking on a Saturday afternoon. I browsed around the store. It was clean and bright. I looked at hand sanitizer and masks, and planted myself in the small appliances section for the longest time. I went to the pickup counter. My wait wasn't long. I gave the woman my name and a brief description of my item. She went to a couple of locked cabinets to fetch my bottle of beverage syrup. I provided photo ID (yay to an expired driver's licence that is valid these days during this pandemic) and the bottle was mine. I thanked her and left. On my way out the door, I was mesmerized by a cute Sun Bum ape mascot holding a tube of lip balm. I looked like such a tourist taking a photo of him. Sadly, he wasn't for sale. Otherwise, I would have bought him on impulse. I had a great experience picking up my order. I'll come back and shop here in a few years... haha! (224)

I advised the cashier there's poop on the floor. 10 minutes passed, it was still on the floor. I advised another staff member who rudely responded to me and said "I know I know, we've already been told" then turned her back to me. I told her I'm trying to be nice and helping them avoid avoid a situation where people would step on it. She responded and was rude about it again. I asked to speak with a manager I was told the manager is on break. I walked away. Another 5 minutes passed same girl and the assistant manager proceeded to clean the poop. As they walked by I said "it's about time somebody attended to it." The assistant manager rudely responded, we didn't know and was very confrontational. I said I reported twice, how do you not know. I asked to speak to a manager above her, I was then told that there is no manager on duty. I left and called the store (905) 850-8131, the assistant manager answered. I asked to speak to a manager, she told me that no manager tonight and for the rest of the weekend. After a few words back and forth she hung up on me, accused me of being rude to her and her staff. I called back again, she was rude and she hung up again. Not very good customer service at all after trying to help them prevent customers from stepping on dog poop. A couple of Saturdays ago, I visited this Kitchen Stuff Plus (KSP). I am on KSP's mailing list and found out that this store had a tent sale. I've been to tent sales at my local KSP store in Markham. It's a lot of fun finding items that I have wanted to get, but didn't because they weren't on sale until I spot them at this tent sale. I ended up ordering a couple of items to pick up at this store. An OXO cherry pitter was on sale, as well as a storage organizer that I love. I got confirmation that they were ready for pickup. The toughest part was deciding whether to hit the tent sale, or pick up and pay for my items being held first. I decided to do the latter, but not buy anything else while in the store. I parked fairly close to the main entrance when I got to the store. I pulled into a parking spot, which felt weird as someone who regularly backs into one. I walked into the store. There was a woman sitting almost too comfortably where the patio display was. She looked like she wanted to take a nap. I enjoyed looking at glasses and plates. I didn't need any, but I like knowing what's new. There were fun shark and cactus bottle openers. I later saw them at the tent sale. They were heavily reduced in price over there. I liked the salad to-go cups. It's perfect for a snack or as a side. I don't think it would work for me for salad as a main. I would need a larger cup (maybe two), as I like salad and would need more. It was cool seeing my cherry pitter and storage unit at the store. I could have picked them out myself, but I do like reserving them for pickup. I wanted to ensure that I got them. I went to the checkout and let a nice woman know that I was picking up a couple of items. She asked for my phone number associated with my account and entered it into the system. She found my order and went to fetch the items that were behind her. I paid with a credit card. I tapped. Done! I ended up getting a bug zapper, as I had qualified to get it at 50% off. I haven't used it yet, as I finally got batteries for it the other day. I put my items in my large reusable bag. I thanked the woman and headed to my car to put my items away. It was tent sale time! I walked over to it to check out the items. I liked what I saw. I ended up getting a honey stick and a jar scooper with a long handle. The woman at the checkout under the tent was nice. She let me know that these items were final sale. I paid with a credit card. I got a coupon towards a regular item the next time I visited this store. Nice! I had a wonderful experience at the store and under the tent. I'd return again to shop when I'm in the area. (312)
