Transparency: Urban Nest Cleaning is a new business and I was offered a promotional rate, with the requirement that I write an honest review of the service. I had no knowledge of the business or prior experience with anyone related to the business. I needed carpet cleaning services, and searched Yelp, and this is one of several businesses that responded to my request for pricing and scheduling availability. Initial communication and scheduling was easy. They (two guys) arrived on time, were friendly, and weren't judgmental about the state of the carpet area to be cleaned (living room and hallway, carpet looking a bit rough and with areas that could have been pet-related staining - I'd been considering giving up on the carpet). The guys asked a few orienting questions (access to water for their machines, power, etc.) and got to work. They didn't use a commercial van carpet cleaning system (as has been used by some other carpet cleaners that I've used in the past) and I wasn't sure what to expect from their equipment, but the guys and their equipment *worked*. They spent the time and effort to do a great job and I was truly impressed. They removed the carpet's annoying fraying fuzzies, and worked the problem areas, and got a great result. The areas that had clearly been highly trafficked now look minimally trafficked. The areas of obvious pet staining are almost imperceptible. The marks from heavy furniture sitting for years - almost completely gone. I've used big-name carpet cleaners before, and to a certain extent they just pushed their commercial cleaner across the carpet and called the job done. The Urban Nest guys were on their hands and knees seeing and addressing little details. They spent a lot more time working on the carpet than any other cleaner I've used... and the Urban Nest guys got *much* better results. Urban Nest Cleaning is a new business, and aren't (yet) as polished as the big names in the industry. They're working on expanding their payment options and their invoice/receipt services, which aren't currently comparable to the established pros. Communicate with them in advance about your payment and invoice requirements so that surprises are avoided - I'm confident they'll do whatever they can to accommodate you. They took longer than (maybe twice the time) I'd expect one of the big name cleaners to take (but as I said above, the results were much better than I'd expect from the big names) - so allow them enough time to do a great job. If/when I need carpet cleaning again, I'll look for Urban Nest Cleaning. I wish them luck with their business. read more

I can't say enough great things about Urban Nest Upholstery! They did an absolutely amazing job cleaning my sectional--it seriously looks brand new again. I have cats, so dealing with hair and dander is always a challenge, but they were incredibly thorough and got everything out. The couch not only looks spotless, but it feels so fresh and clean too. You can tell they really take pride in their work and pay attention to every detail. If you're on the fence, don't be--highly recommend them for anyone needing a deep, professional clean! Urban Nest Cleaning did a fantastic job deep cleaning our couch. After kids and pets, our couch was in tough condition but I wasn't ready to part with it. When they delivered the couch back, it was a brand new couch. I'm shocked they didn't go to the store a buy a new one. All the stains were out, the smell was gone, the fabric was like new. Was is a bad situation where the plant sitter over watered plants and left the new wool carpet to mildew and stain. Urban Nest Cleaning came to our rescue. Their professional yet friendly manner but us to ease. They stayed 6 hours and did multiple treatments while never giving up. I highly recommend this company.....not the plant sitter. read more

We have a floating home on the Columbia. It is very hard to find anybody that wants to lug down their equipment down a ramp and then back up after cleaning carpets.
