The extraction is great system as it uses hot water and it pulls most of the water out. One room needed a deodorizer and it ended up smelling very good in there after. They're always quick to respond and do a fantastic job! They also do rugs which is fantastic since my dog tends to leave little crumbs all over mine. As their name suggests, they do steam cleaning which really removes all the soil and stains out. I like to think of it as an equivalent to exfoliating my face - that deep clean for my carpet! I called a couple different companies and never got a response. Should have just called Pacific Steam first!!! Needed a couch and area rug cleaned. Called on a Friday afternoon, received a call-back just after 5pm that day. I really wanted it to be done asap and unfortunately, they didn't have any availability for about 3 weeks, even then, there weren't many appointments available. The owner was the person that called me. He was so nice, so helpful, gave me a contact info for another cleaner he trusted that he thought might have more availability. As soon as I hung up, I thought, with this type of customer service, I'd be dumb to try to go anywhere else: they would be worth the wait. So I booked and they said if they had an opportunity to squeeze me in earlier, they would. Sure enough, they did. A week later they fit me in on short notice, came out, did an excellent job. The prices are more than fair, quality of work is top-notch, professional and all around a great company. Guy who performed the work has been with the company 9 years. I think that says a lot. The last time I cleaned my carpets professionally was 2 years ago. I don't remember what service I used, but my expectations were low as far as the appearance of the carpet after the treatment from my last experience. These guys completely blew me away! I cannot believe how much better the carpet looks! The steam cleaner definitely works and Andrew (and Ben!) were very thorough. The carpet only took a few hours to dry and none of the stains resurfaced. Pacific Steam did an excellent job cleaning the wall-to-wall carpet in our home. It was quick and easy to set up the appointment, and we couldn't be happier with the results! Andrew did the cleaning; over a short two hours, he did our living room, family room, main bedroom, guest bedroom, stairs and hallway. The total charge was about $320, and it was the best money we've spent in a while. Our carpets look brighter, feel fluffier, and smell so much better. The carpet was dry in 4-6 hours, just as he'd said (a sunny day helped, but I was still impressed). Andrew walked the house with us first and we showed him some areas that needed spot-cleaning after we raised a litter of 6 kittens this summer. Those spots are totally clean now, and we are SO happy. We moved into our new home and had our carpets cleaned by a company that did not do a great job. They left our carpets crunchy! Pacific Steam on the other hand, did a great job of steam cleaning our couch (which we got used and it had a slight smell) and got a cherry cold syrup stain out of our stairs. They are also a green company using BioKleen, and other green cleaning solutions.They did not charge extra for getting the stain out, were here on-time, quick to clean and fairly inexpensive compared to other cleaners I contacted.
