This is a fun way to spend an hour or two. We got a lot on attention from people out in the city waving and smiling as we road around. These cars are little and my husband at 6'2" was on the edge of being comfortable. These little cars drive like motorcycles or mopeds but with a lot less power. Getting to 30 mph was a stretch for them. I never felt unsafe and we had a good time. Why three stars and not five like most people? Well the cars are old or very abused. The brakes were soft and suspension nonexistent. This location either needs new cars or an overhaul of existing ones. Also we arrived 15 minutes before our time as we were directed but the attendant said two other groups were coming so we had to wait for them before watching the safety video and getting going. The third group arrived 45 minutes after we did so we sat there doing nothing when we could have be out on our road trip already. I understand it's easier to give directions once but that was a huge waste of our time. Would I do it again? Maybe. Was it worth doing once? Yes definitely.

By far the coolest and most fun way to get around San Diego. These scooters are legal to drive on the street or the sidewalks! Everything about this from booking to the return was easy. We covered more of the city in less time than all other options. Easy to drive, phone holders for directions and 3 modes for speed to match your comfort level. iRideSD.com for more info.

This was such a fun experience! It took the scooters to a whole new level! My family and friends did this as a bachelorette activity and it was lots of fun especially, since we were able to connect our music to the bikes! The gentlemen who helped us (I think he was the owner.) was very nice! He gave my group an extra 30min to our 1hr tour because of an event that was happening in Little Italy and it worked out great! We received so much attention from everyone taking videos and pics of my group. Some people were even dancing with us on our stops at the stop lights! I highly recommend iRide to anyone who is looking for a fun activity to do with a big group!

This is the BEST way to see the city. I rented this bad beast for 2 hours, and went to Seaport Village, Petco Park, the Gaslamp Quarter, and Balboa Park. I returned the bike with time to spare. Todd, the owner, is BEYOND friendly and helpful. He told me where to go, how to get around, and showed me how to use the bike before I used it. I've done some cool things in my life, and this experience ranks quite high on the "all-time" list. Fun, adventurous, and thorough. I would do this again a thousand times. Todd, you're awesome! Thanks for the free bottle of water and t-shirt!

Amazing bikes and amazing people that rent them. They go smoothly on uphill and are incredibly fast. Definitely worth checking them out!

I thought the demonstration was overwhelming and I would I loved some time to practice before getting out there . But my husband drove so that made it a non issue . The workers were kind , helpful and fun even took our photos. I would recommend if you run cold , wear sunglasses . put a blanket on your lap, wear a jacket and my husband would recommend wearing gloves when driving .There was a missing cup holder in our car so we needed to stuff our water near the back. There is a trunk which was nice and you can unplug the cars gps if you want to stop and walk around but our gps had a hard time reconnecting but when we called they were able to walk us through . The gps was a little delayed sometimes . But those cookies that were listed on the route from uncle Bill's killer cookies was amazing . Mine were fresher from the oven so would def recommend them.

We did not expect…read moremuch from a mini go car with speaker as a tour guide but navigating and following the way was actually half the fun (especially when you get somewhat lost and misses a turn). The teasing and rage you give the driver is GOLD COMEDY! The guy, (sorry i forgot his name) actually hooked us up with the 2 hr tour and we actually thought we would enjoy the 3 hr tour next time! It really gives you a very good perspective of the city and another way to see everything without actually going to each place! This was the highlight of our trip! Kudos to the awesome guy, whatever your name is! This will be a fun thing to do with family, too! Convoying and getting lost together, lol!

The guides were friendly, entertaining, and shared interesting historical facts along the way while keeping the ride engaging with humor. The hop-on, hop-off option made it easy to explore at our own pace, and the trolleys ran frequently enough that we didn't have to wait long. We especially enjoyed starting in Old Town and visiting places like Balboa Park, the Gaslamp Quarter, and Seaport Village. Overall, it's a great value and a convenient way to experience San Diego without worrying about parking or traffic. I would definitely recommend it to visitors and even locals looking for a fun day out.

It was not supposed to be such a BEAUTIFUL DAY, according to the weather forecasters…read more We got there as one was boarding, and getting full. We decided to wait 20 Minutes. We started about 9:30 AM, and our first Guide, NAMED JACK. He had been a disaster/guide for some 10 Years. He was very, very good. When we walked on, there were two orange cones on the two front seats. We had waited to sit in the front seat!!! As we boarded, JACK just sat on the benches, not noticing my walker!!! I finally got the front seat, but my partner stayed seated behind me. GUIDE JACK took us as far as Seaport Village, but interesting enough, at the stop before, he had us all share our stories. NICE TOUCH. We wanted bagels at SPILL THE BEANS, but at 10 AM they were OUT OF BAGELS. Ridiculous. I don't remember the name of the Driver/Guide, who took us from Seaport Village to Coronado. In Coronado, we walked to the Hotel del Coronado. I first used the RR, beautiful white marble. I then took the metal elevator in the lobby to the Second Floor, and went out the balcony. We, My Partner and I, met up again the INTERIOR COURTYARD. We left the hotel to walk to GELATO PARADISO on Orange Avenue. On the way there, we saw the famous L FRANK BAUM HOUSE, the writer of the Wizard of Oz. It is a yellow house. UNFORTUNATELY, they did not know how to use the COUPON in the OT Trolley Brochure. Other than that, the GELATO WAS DELICIOUS!!! I had Raspberry and Lemon. We took the OT Trolley back to Old Town. We had one last Driver/Guide, NAMED LUIS. He was very thorough, but very matter of fact. We returned to OLD TOWN, 2 Hours after BEGINNING!!!
