Apparently a "roasted vegetable" wrap is shredded carrots, bell peppers, onions and raw spinach. Seems like it was nuked rather than roasted
Deena B.

Just had such a terrible experience at Urban Picnic. I ordered upon arrival and the girl who greeted me was lovely, but I could tell the owner was stressed and maybe shorthanded right away. I asked what soup it was, the girl asked him, and he retorted "what do you think it is." Super unprofessional. It then took 30+ minutes to get my food, and they didn't even bring me water while I waited (though I'd asked for it). I witnessed the owner turn away a woman because he was "too busy to take her order" and there were maybe 12 people in the restaurant including me. I was damn close to walking out as I was getting increasingly hangry, but against my better judgement I stayed. My food arrived, and the "roast vegetable wrap" had raw spinach, shredded carrots and green bell peppers. Not a roasted veg in sight. To top it off, they're cash only. Super annoying. There are loads of better options in the area like Ugly Duckling a few doors down, Avoca a few streets away etc, so I won't be back.

Green curry & Tuna wrap
Siobhan S.

Everything was fine, but that's about it I ordered the Green Curry w/ chicken and basmati rice, and a pappadam. It was all kind of bland and the rice was overcooked. My boyfriend got a tuna wrap that looked ok, but nothing special. Skip it on your travels and eat elsewhere.

Chicken Tikka Ciabatta
Maria T.

Had the chicken tikka sandwich and it was average. Chicken was tasteless and rubbery. Service was good and location is lovely. Maybe I was just unlucky with my choice.

really delicious omelette!! Done with love, it's possible to feel it. Lovely staff! Really worth

Large sandwiches and a cup of soup at a decent price. The large wooden tables were a nice novelty but it can be a bit tight for space

The host and waiters are top tier and extremely knowledgeable. Something we wish we knew before going is that it is a pre fixe menu. We went for the 6 course with 6 wine paring. Everything was exquisitely prepared and had very unique taste. Until we got to the pigeon... which was definitely not our favorite. :x The desserts were some of the best we've ever had. It was definitely a dining "experience". Not a place to go to have a few pints with your pals and get a hearty steak. But if you're an adventurous eater and willing to spend around $500 for a 2 person dinner, then it's worth checking out. Also I think it is worth mentioning again, the staff were amazing.

We honestly just stumbled upon Harry's as we were starving but hadn't committed to anywhere as we were walking and just ensuring first we could find a restaurant close to where we'd be watching a show later that evening. Harry's wasn't busy on a Friday at 5pm so we thought why not? The interior is dark and cozy. They have an impressively large bar and plenty of seating outside or downstairs in the main dining & bar area. Service was fine. Our waiter seemed to be new but he took our order promptly and got us everything we needed quickly which was appreciated as we were on a time crunch. I wouldn't say the service was particularly special but efficient definitely. Harry's has some classic Irish meals but also just a large American multi-cultural comfort food menu. Embarrassed to say instead of some lovely stews or fish n chips, we eagerly ordered nachos and pasta lol. Sometimes you just need a taste of home even when on vacation. The nachos were average but hit the spot for that craving. I had the pasta Toscana which had a surprisingly good and creamy sauce which some chicken and bacon. I was surprised that it was a solid 3.5/5 knowing this isn't a classic or normal dish to order. Everything hit the spot and was filling. Great cocktail menu too. Really I feel like coming here for drinks and appetizers is the way to go. My cocktail was the Harry Spritz and it was fantastic. Great drinks here and enough bartenders behind the bar to keep the drinks flowing :)

It's a little more laid back than the other pubs in the area, yet, a tad higher scale - *almost* on the swanky side of things. It's actually more of a specialty cocktail bar and restaurant. Plenty of comfy leather booths and chairs to lounge around in, so it was a lot more comfortable and less crowded than the surrounding pubs. It started getting busy and the music got loud around 11:30pm, but it was still fun, and the bartenders did a good job taking care of business and slinging those drinks, even though they were busy. My only gripe - they have a bathroom attendant - I hate that with a passion folks... I'm perfectly capable of turning the faucet on, getting my own soap and getting my own paper towels. I don't need this sort of interaction in the bathroom. I'm a grown up. Other than that, Harry's is a great place. I only wish we had time to have a meal there while we were in Dublin. Their menu looks interesting. Cheers!

I'm happy we didn't because we really enjoyed the atmosphere. I know an American going to a new American restaurant in Ireland is a little bit weird maybe not, but the music they were playing was pretty good. It was very old-school Americano kind of style. Nothing like it is today. So if you want to get the nostalgia of a little bit of America of what it used to be definitely come on in and check it out. We were greeted by the bartender look like he was the only one taking care of everybody. Came up and told us the special and the special that we chose was the fish and chips. This place is really great because not only do you get the fish and chips at a great deal you get a pint of beer included! I believe it came out to be about €20 but that has been the best deal that I could get the whole time I was in Ireland! My partner ordered a tonic and asked for some lime and was provided was a big bottle of lime juice. Check out the photo. The fish came out with two pieces. They were perfectly flaky, and the french fries were actually pretty crispy, unlike some places we visited in Ireland the french fries were really floppy and were baked rather than deep-fried. There are different specials on the lunch menu and I believe that the lunch menu goes until 5 PM. So if you're looking for a little bit of nostalgia and a great deal, check this place out while you're walking through the streets.
