    Green curry & Tuna wrap
    Siobhan S.

Everything was fine, but that's about it I ordered the Green Curry w/ chicken and basmati rice, and a pappadam. It was all kind of bland and the rice was overcooked. My boyfriend got a tuna wrap that looked ok, but nothing special. Skip it on your travels and eat elsewhere.

    Chicken Tikka Ciabatta

Had the chicken tikka sandwich and it was average. Chicken was tasteless and rubbery. Service was good and location is lovely. Maybe I was just unlucky with my choice.

really delicious omelette!! Done with love, it's possible to feel it. Lovely staff! Really worth

Large sandwiches and a cup of soup at a decent price. The large wooden tables were a nice novelty but it can be a bit tight for space

We nearly broke our rule on not eating at the same restaurant twice while on vacation. Every single dish that came to our table was a small revelation. The flavors were bold, the presentation was beautiful, and you could tell real care went into every plate. We tried a little bit of everything and there was not a single miss. Huge shoutout to our server Matt, who took care of us all night. You can tell he has deep roots in this community and genuine pride in the history of the place, and it showed in how he talked about the menu and the restaurant. He made the whole experience even better with his warmth and knowledge. If you are visiting Dublin, do not skip The Boxty House. Ask for Matt if you can. Five stars, easily.

It was not too loud in our seats by the window where we could watch the action in Temple Bar. Boxty - think of a potato version of a crepe (a little thicker) - Gaelic boxty - 4/5 solid offering with a generous portion of steak on top of the boxty and with mushrooms and mushroom sauce - Chicken boxty - 4/5 chicken breast wrapped in boxty with a roasted red pepper on top and slice of chorizo (I didn't care much for the chorizo but my partner happily ate it) with tasty sauce with cooked chopped onions - concannon - 4/5 basically mashed potatoes on top of a little bit of cooked kale (said cabbage too but I didn't see it) - green beans with lemon and goat cheese - 4/5, tangy lemon forward I know people say this is touristy and that is likely since it is in Temple Bar and I don't see why that's a problem! Definitely worth trying when you're in the area.

Okay I have to be honest....I was pretty disappointed in this place in terms of the food…read more I am not a vegeterian or vegan at all, but I sometimes try these places if they have great reviews. And in US, I have never been really let down in terms of food quality. Most of the times they don't even taste vegan. But the green curry from Cornucopia was pretty bland....definitely the worst curry I have ever eaten in my life. And coconut curry is really hard to mess up, vegetarian or not. The brown rice came with some crunchy (from sitting too long). The salad bar was just okay as well. I am not sure how vegetarian/vegan meals are in Dublin, but this place is definitely not up to par in the states. That being said, I did like they had multi-level dining area and it was very comfortable being solo.

The recipes are so creative and full of flavor, and I got their cookbook too. I would love to eat like this every day if I could cook such delicious vegetarian food! Highly recommended, there are a lot of good restaurants in Dublin City, but this casual atmosphere and fantastic food is the perfect mix, and you feel that you're doing something healthy!!

Our first meal in Dublin was at The Old Mill Restaurant, right in the heart of Temple Bar. It's been serving traditional Irish fare since the 1980s and has become a favorite stop for both locals and visitors looking for classic comfort food. After about a 20-minute wait, we were seated in the warm, inviting dining room. Susan ordered the mussels, one of her favorites, while I went with the Traditional Irish Stew and my daughter chose the Braised Beef & Guinness Stew. Both were exactly what we hoped for: hearty, flavorful, and perfect after a day of sightseeing. I finally understood why the Guinness stew had such a rich, dark color, and I have to admit, I came home a big fan of Irish stew. We finished with the Homemade Bread & Butter Pudding topped with fresh cream and custard, a comforting dessert that was the perfect ending to the meal. Service, atmosphere, value, and food were all five out of five. We also enjoyed chatting with the floor manager, whose pride in the restaurant and his team was obvious. That kind of hospitality made a great meal even more memorable.

They told us our table was ready at the same time they were seating a walk-in. Our table was next to the window with decent space between tables, I saw the walk-in complain that where he was getting sat was in the middle of the restaurant with no space between the next table. He ended up just taking our table even with the waitress saying it wasn't his. They just shrugged and told us to sit in the middle. The mussels were good, and they had gluten free bread, but there were limited gluten free options, even the Shepards pie wasn't gluten free. I was hoping a mash potato topping would be available, but only the Irish stew. This had lamb, but also chicken, so you had to hunt down the lamb. The beef stew was good, but the overall experience and being squeezed in shoulder to shoulder made me feel like I stumbled into a tourist trap. I wouldn't recommend.
