Clint is an amazing cook and caterer, and just all-around awesome person. He did a phenomenal job doing some creative catering for a 50th birthday party for us, and we hit the food truck any chance we get! He also did some catering for my husband's workplace to reward employees when they booked overseas jobs. We heard over and over from our wedding guests how great the food was. Clint's dedication to quality and level of creativity was unmatched. Clint and his crew did an amazing job and worked very hard to ensure things were on time and delicious... he even brought his cot along one night (If that isn't dedication I don't know what is!). Clint catered our entire wedding weekend at Camp Alexander for 160 people. From dinner on Friday to breakfast on Sunday, the ENTIRE weekend was catered by Urban Street Bistro. A perfect catering experience for our wedding. We worked with Clint the owner to fully customize a menu without limitations. Our desired appetizers, entrees, side items, and desserts were based on some specific things we wanted and Clint filled in the blanks with some awesome suggestions including a special vegan appetizer and entree. Not only did the food all come out perfectly, Clint was even on site hand-carving meat at the buffet line. Our seating was goofy and original head count we provided was off but they took it in stride and accommodated by getting more food made up and delivered without any delays. All guests we talked to about the food loved it. We highly recommend the carrot soufflé for anyone looking for a unique and delicious side dish. I've done grab 'n' go from Urban Street Bistro on numerous occasions, including a few times at the Farmers Market in Wausau. Ingredients are consistently fresh and locally-sourced. On a typical day, two to four plates are offered, generally at a couple of bucks more than one would pay for a sandwich from Subway or another chain restaurant. The quality, freshness and menu creativity make Urban Street Bistro a better overall value despite the marginally higher price point. The most distinguished aspect of Urban Street Bistro is the creativity of the featured items. Clint and crew do some very interesting things in pairing food types/ingredients/sauces that are surprising and delightful. I've eaten at the bistro food truck approximately 10 times and every instance warranted a 4.5- to 5-star ranking. I hired Urban Street Bistro to cater my son's Wisconsin Wedding reception. This was a smaller outdoor affair for close friends and was based entirely on everyone enjoying a beautiful meal together and celebrating the young couple. My requirements to Clint for the menu were that it have some reflection of my British background and our families love of English food, elegant but substantial main course menu items, and meals that could accommodate dietary restrictions. (Gluten free, dairy free, soy free.) He quickly assembled a mouth-watering menu for the evening which consisted of the best fish and chips, served in paper cones, I have ever tasted in America. I can say this with all qualification as I grew up living in and above a Fish and Chip Shop that my parents ran; these were truly as authentic as I could have hoped for and I felt as though my father was stood beside me. Truly a special gift not expected. Another appetizers was a cheese and tomato tart that disappeared as fast as they placed a new one on the table. Last minute changes due to the suffocating heat were Shrimp Cocktail and a Veggie and Hummus, which replaced the English Sausage Rolls and Steak and Kidney Pies. My son has a love of lemonades and we had asked Clint to mix up some of his lemonade specialties to provide a refresher at the bar for everyone; he did not disappoint. Strawberry Ginger Lemonade, Blueberry Basil Lemonade and a non-alcoholic ?? were the light touch with that added twist to provide relief. Our main courses were Bacon Wrapped Tenderloin with Yorkshire Puddings, Cedar plank grilled Scottish Salmon or Stuffed portobello mushroom Wellington, making it hard to decide when making your rsvp what your menu selection would be. One clever family each chose one item so they could share and experience everything. I wish I had been so wise. Where Clint really shone this night, was when the Storm of the Year hit right in the middle of dinner service. He had his staff stay safe and then was determined that all guests be served, storms and potential tornadoes be danged. He was drenched by nights end. His priority was the client at all costs. I have never seen such service before from any vendor in making sure that they provided what they set out to do. His attitude throughout the storm and afterwards, when water soaked from head to toe, was nothing but positive and upbeat. The guests were in awe of him, his food, and his diligence. I would hire Clint again with no hesitation and recommend him to anyone without any reservations. He will provide you careful, considerate and well-planned service and care. I look forward to the next time that I have the pleasure of utilizing Urban Street Bistro's services. read more

This was soooo good! Urban Street Bistro comes to my work once and a while and today I had the Caribbean pork sandwich with tropical slaw. Wish I would have taken a fork to help me eat this but it was an amazing sandwich. The sauce had such a great burn to it and the tropical slaw help balance it out! There was so much meat on it too! I can't wait to treat the family with Urban Street Bistro this summer at the Wausau Farmer's Market! Next time I'm definitely trying the smoked chicken enchiladas! read more

Urban Street Bistro did an incredible job catering my wedding. Many, many people (including some of the other wedding vendors!) told me that the food at my wedding was the best wedding food they'd ever had. Clint worked with me to develop a menu for a taco bar with three main fillings (chicken, steak, and mahi mahi), more fixings and side dishes than I could have dreamed of, hors d'oeuvres, and a dessert buffet. They were extremely professional and friendly - they showed up early and had everything beautifully set up by the time we arrived for cocktail hour after the wedding ceremony. They went above and beyond with table setting and clearing and even helped with some troubleshooting, loaning the bartender some extra glasses when we realized that we didn't have enough champagne glasses for our bartender to pre-fill for a champagne toast.
