If we could give more than five stars, we absolutely would! We're visiting from California and stumbled upon this place and just wow. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was everything an aesthetic girly could ever want haha. It's cozy, charming, eclectic, creative and full of unique art that gives the space so much personality. The service was phenomenal! The girls working were so patient and genuinely kind, taking the time to offer suggestions and make sure we got exactly what we'd enjoy. You can tell they care about both the food and the people they serve (such a rare find these days) ! We ordered the bacon burrito and the sweet potato & black bean burrito, and both were absolutely delicious. Fresh ingredients, amazing flavor, and simply presented. Pair that with two perfect lattes. Seriously, everything and everyone was incredible. If you're anywhere near here, definitely worth trying. This is hands-down one of the best coffee shop experiences we've ever had.

such a gem! We were surprised to find this spot on our trip up North. The syrups were homemade, food looked delicious, and the decaf espresso was super tasty! Service was good and the vibes were chill/earthy/eclectic. Will definitely stop again on our next trip.

Another reason to visit Wausau. Why spend more money at Sixbucks when you can have artisan, well-made, delicious cortado at Tucknee Coffee? We loved this little coffee shop, which was right next to a craft brewery that we sadly did not have time to visit during our driveby. Excellent espresso drinks, evidently made with care. We did not eat here but the menu looked healthy and delicious. Great find.

Yep, you can see the Smokin' Santa takin' the pic.

Ho, ho, ho, ha, heh, heh, Fantastic little shop/roastery. I have not tried any of the edible fare yet, but look forward to doing so on another trip through Wassau. If you're a coffee drinker, however, this place is 100% Smokin' Santa APPROVED! to get a darn fine cup o' mud. Of course, I tend to stay away from the earthiest of dark roasts. As with many shops they usually have 2 roasts brewed, a dark and a lighte roast. On our last trip one of the trio of owners (assuming it hasn't changed since early 2022 news reports) was serving me. When asked between the roasts, I responded with my taste preference and she just had me sample both of them. Now this may not seem like a big deal, but most big chain employees wouldn't even think to offer. Though I tend to prefer bigger medium/dark roasts, I found myself choosing the lighter roast on this day. Though I tend not to use them, and didn't on this day, the topic of flavors came up and Tucknee makes all their own (I pointed out that my local shop dropped ALL flavors except chocolate and homemade vanilla because "a coffee shop is about coffee"), so definitely big points there. They didn't have a lot of flavors, but as with my shop the star is the roasted coffee itself. Though I like to sample a variety of shops on my travels, its going to be very hard to want to venture into another Wassau area shop after this both aesthetically and business-model-wise immediately made me feel like my home shop.

I was in town for work and found the place while looking for lunch. The food and service were great! The atmosphere was friendly, and it had a great vibe. Highly recommend checking it out!

It is a charming and well stocked wine-focused store, with a restaurant to boot. I have come for both lunch and also the much sought-after wine tastings, which are very fun and delicious. The knowledge that the staff exude is exemplary, especially for the Wausau area. From unique varieties, preparations, vineyards, and grapes to many more criterion way over my head, they have you covered. Our most recent experience was a wine pairing event. In this format, there was a charcuterie board with different ingredients intended to be paired with different types of wines. There were also plates served as well - soups, salads, and sandwiches - that were all delicious (most are available on their main lunch menu as well). It was very interesting and classy. Their sommelier explained the differences between the numerous wine samples, how to serve them, how to pair them with food, and we enjoyed the entire event. Their wine selection is incredible, with options for every taste and budget. I will definitely be back to find a bottle for a special occasion. I encourage you to check this gem out - cheers!

In addition to the main hall there is a nice cafe room with places to sit and relax while enjoying beverages from coffee to mixed drinks that can be purchased from the bar. It was the perfect place for Wausau's 2020 Martin Luther King Day event. The main hall provided ample room for the the program which included a band, an awards presentation and the featured speaker. I'm sure that the hall is a suitable venue for concerts and other events as well. The buffet line for the catered meal was in the corridor outside of the main hall which was not ideal (though probably necessary) -- it was quite crowded when everyone was getting their food and the congestion was exacerbated with others coming and going from the main hall to the cafe etc.. The number of tables in the main hall was insufficient for the number of attendees. We, along with many others had to balance dinner plates on our laps and set our drinks on the floor while eating. I'm not sure whether the responsibility for this falls on the event planners or the hall management but it was a definite negative for me. A few other things -- positive and negative. There is a nice display of artwork from local artists displayed on the walls. Even while the MLK event was going on there at least one other small group conducting a meeting in another area of the building. Parking was limited and the cars were parked rather haphazardly (and the ice and snow of January certainly doesn't make parking easy either). We needed to park across the street -- fortunately the county offices located there are closed in the evening.

I've seen many shows here and have enjoyed them all, except that the last two shows I have had the disappointing experience of persons having a full on conversation right behind me. I get that people will talk, but nonstop, throughout a performance, with the doors to the concert hall mere feet behind us? Even worse, each of these times one of the venue owners has been a discussion participant. Again, never not had a great time and the talent is top notch. I'd recommend the owners entertain their friends outside of the room (and perhaps the sound tech turn down the bass).
