I made a yelp account just to leave this review and maybe it is just me. I have no reason to lie or make up false situations. I first spoke to this company when I first bought my home a year ago. Haven't heard from them in over a year and randomly received a call for them to do service. The person I spoke with on the phone was the same one that did my service, Mathias. I stated on the phone that I had a very tight budget for the month (I was getting my home remodeled) and couldn't afford it. Over the phone I was told "Don't worry about it the first one is on me and afterwards if you like you can enter into service with us." That was the ONLY reason I agreed for him to come out. He came, did service and then said, "It'll be $85 today." It may not seem like a lot to most but I do not work, I am a 100% disabled veteran and full time student. I literally budgeted for the month already, as I already told him prior. There is no worse feeling than being played and paying for something you did not budget for. I hope my name is removed from the call list I guess they get commission, and he was tight for money because why else keep my name on a list for over a year. This company might be good for some, but I have had a horrible experience. 03/29-2024 This is an edited review in a response to Kember as I cannot reply to your comment. I wrote my original post as well in the heat of the moment from frustration but I hope this more level headed response will make more sense. The price of service is not what my original grievance is about so in this case is irrelevant. Saying that someone is a good person is the reason why they could never do 'something like that' is equal to saying "Well this person never harmed me so it must be untrue." My yelp post was not to disrespect or discredit this company as it is obvious there is not lack of satisfied customers. I posted because it did happen to me, and I want others who may face a similar situation in the future. Again, as I said maybe it only happened to me but that is because I was being naive and that will not happen again as I don't like to be taken advantage of or have my personal situations downplayed. In any language saying "Don't worry I'll take care of it" means free but again that was fault of my own for believing it. Now we did speak on the phone today, even after I left this review, my card was still charged even though I never entered into a contract. As for last year I did NOT enter into a contract will you all so paperwork did not 'fall through,' and Mathias was the person I spoke with at that time as well. I have no reason so lie and am not in the business of tearing down other people for personal gain, I do however hate to be disrespected. Whether my words are believed or not I do not care. Amazing value. They will come and spray every three months and if you see problems/pests in between they will come and spray for free. I had Urban Texas Pest Control come out to my home NW of San Antonio for routine treatment. Kimber scheduled the work quickly, and was very responsive and friendly. CJ was the tech that came out to do the treatment, and was extremely thorough and efficient. He treated the interior and exterior, explained everything he did and what to expect after the treatment. I am on a quarterly treatment plan, just to keep on top of things, with all the creepy crawlies here in the country. CJ was tidy, professional and knowledgable.
