My daughter's ear was bothering her - we went into the office and the staff was very nice - but the…read moretreatment room was dirty and there were literally holes in the wall. It was so weird. They cleaned out her ear with water (anytime I've been to an urgent care for this, they've always used hydrogen peroxide) and her ear felt better. But then they billed our insurance for $517.00!!!! We only owe a portion of that, but the principle remains -- they are WAY overcharging for services. I called and left a message for the office manager THREE times to discuss this and she never called me back. It's awful. Stay away.

I visited here on a Friday with a painful knee injury. I saw the PA and she was very nice and…read moreoffered her opinion which sounded great. I was given 2 shots and prescription called in then on Monday I hurt the knee even worse, could hardly walk, I returned to get further treatment. I was given a paper to take to get the xray done (I had to ask where I was supposed to take this), then had to hobble out to my car, park and hobble on a long walk to get it done. I ask if I would hear from them, and was told yes, it probably takes a couple hours. After hearing nothing by 4:30 pm, I called was told someone would call before the end of the day. This did not happen, no one called, I called back on Tues. am and after being put on hold, the lady who answered the phone came back and said" your xrays showed no problems, your knee is fine". I was stunned and "excuse me, but my knee is not fine, I can hardly walk". So when I asked what I was supposed to do now I was told they suggest I go to the hospital or somewhere that can do more etc.. Guess I should have went somewhere else to begin with. I can't believe I got no call back, no real instructions, and no referral to further help. I'm simply amazed at the treatment. I understand they might not be able to really help my problem but they could have certainly been more courteous. Lesson learned.

I went to UNC Urgent Care at Flowers in Clayton for two weeks of ongoing gastrointestinal issues…read more Before coming in, I called on Saturday morning and was told they could provide me with a stool testing kit if needed, which is why I scheduled the visit for Monday. During the visit, the provider, Kellie Cochran, NP, introduced herself as "Dr. Kelly." I later learned from my paperwork that she is a nurse practitioner. I don't mind seeing an NP, but patients should be clearly told who they are seeing so that we can make informed decisions. Even though my symptoms had been going on for over two weeks, I was not given a stool test kit and was not offered a treatment plan. Instead, I was referred to a gastroenterologist for a colonoscopy, which was not the reason I came to urgent care. I was also told to follow up with primary care, but my new patient appointment is not until March 12. I left without testing, medication, or any real guidance on how to address what I came in for. If you need diagnostic testing done, I would recommend going somewhere else!

They are not urgent care. They are just a doctors office that has weekend hours. I took my daughter…read morethere because she was in severe pain from a UTI. First person there before they opened at 8am on a Saturday. Only to be told that they were BOOKED with appointments and she couldn't be seen until 12:30 where they had an opening. So basically not URGENT at all. We left and went to FastMed URGENT care and they saw her right away even though they also take appt times. But they leave spaces open for actual urgent appointments. I will never even attempt to go to this office again

Johnston has definitely left a mark on my family for life. We just had our first baby at the…read morewoman's pavilion. At 4cm dilated and excruciating contractions my wife was asked to sit down and answer some questions before someone pointed out that she needed to be put in a room asap. Delivery went good, and we felt it was smooth sailing from there but that was not the case. She started experience nausea, severe pain, and swelling of her limbs as soon as 12 hours after delivery. Her heart rate hovered around 120-130 for 2 days and even got up to the 150's at one point but we were told it was just hormones and that it was nothing to worry about. We new something was wrong and none of the doctors knew a thing so our main goal was to just get discharged and go from there. As we were leaving the nurse Carlene was sent with us to check our car seat, i had no idea how to fasten the base to my sons car seat so I asked her for help, to which she responded "I don't know how to do it" and sent us on our way. We get home and not even a day later my wife could hardly walk, and was swelling all over. Eventually we called EMS and we were brought to wake med. we have currently been in Wake Med for a week due to TSS, which as many know is a life threatening infection that travels through your blood stream. Not only did she have a infection right after delivery but her stitches were loose and came apart. Our 1 week and 2 day old child has only been bottle fed by his mother 2 times and she has yet to change a diaper or give him a outfit. Any mother could only imagine how hard that could be on a first time mom. I am extremely upset and would highly advice that nobody use this as a place to deliver your baby, it is not worth the risk.

No one stopped him just sat and watched him do as he pleased. My daughter was in an accident rear ended and she's had two brain surgeries prior to this accident and she hit her head but he takes priorities because he works here??? Guess that's the only way to be seen here, is if you work here otherwise you'll wait until they decide to see you
