At 2yrs old Savannah wasn't speaking. Was it developmental? Was it COVID and the absence of other children? No one, including her doctor could tell us. Our doctor referred us to PTA. What I didn't know at that time was how much our teachers and our therapists would change our lives. I have been with PTA a full year and I am so thankful I found them. Savannah attends LEAPP school there now and she is a chatter box! Daily she makes progress!!! The curriculum is OUTSTANDING, but the way her teachers love and care for her is above and beyond any of our expectations. I have always found the therapist to be professional and loving. And the office is run with efficiently and CARE. I'm so happy I found this office!! I'm so grateful for everything they have done. Seven years of visiting therapy centers and special ed schools with my son means I know a good thing when I see it. This is a good thing. PTA offers physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy (amongst other types) for children with all sorts of special needs. Most of the therapists have been there for decades and they actually care about your children and their well being. I know, hard to believe some therapists don't right? I have been going now for two years and my only regret is that I did not find them sooner! If you find yourself in need of these services, PTA is it. They do have a waiting list for some of the services but I would encourage you to place your name on it because it's worth it. Big fan "ovah" here. read more

I truly couldn't say more amazing things about this place! I drive here four days a week from East Fort Lauderdale and even if this place was over an hour away , without a doubt in my mind I would still choose this place over any other! Every single person I have encountered here has greeted my child with nothing but love, encouragement and warmth. I sent my son who has a speech delay to two top rated schools in East Fort Lauderdale as well as a well-known speech clinic and all were not great experiences . PTA is staffed with amazing professionals and even offer an incredible school program called LEAPP which I was lucky enough to send my son to . I'm beyond thrilled with this place and only wish I found it sooner !!! read more

My son was sent here by his pediatrician to get evaluated for speech. I couldn't imagine having to experience this part of his development at another place. PTAs therapists made it much easier for me to deal with his delay. They are kind, friendly, genuinely care about the kids they work with. Always sharing feedback and keeping you up to date with progress. They are devoted to their charges. Thank you Cat, Stephanie and Alyssa. The best of the best! If I could've, would've given 10 stars! They were recommended by a friend and I am SO glad they were. I have had two children go through their preschool-program, and they're incredible! My youngest will be graduating this year to start kindergarten and I am genuinely heartbroken. They have my 4-year-old reading and doing math at a first grade level. They've monitored his progress and even had him evaluated for speech because they wanted to ensure he was progressing properly for his age (above and beyond what I expected!). The staff and teachers truly care and love the kids who come to their facility, regardless of the reason. Already recommended PTA to a friend who was looking for therapy (OT/SLP) for their child, and I will never stop recommending PTA to everyone who asks for pediatric therapy recommendations. Our daughter has been going to PTA for over 10 years. We could not be happier with the entire staff there. We started OT, PT, speech and the amazing LEAPP program when our daughter was almost two, and we don't know what we would do without this place! The owner, the front desk, the LEAPP program and all the therapists there are so professional, loving and caring with our daughter. Now that she's older they go to her school for several therapies which makes our life so much easier. Our neurologist said our daughter would most likely never walk and she runs and climbs now. We give that credit to the therapists who have worked endlessly with her. We highly recommend Pediatric Therapy Associates and everyone who works there. read more

Not a great experience. The attitude was consistently poor. On one occasion they kept me waiting with my child in the waiting room with everyone in the office going out of their way to avoid eye contact, including the receptionist who got up from her chair as we walked in and walked away because she was on a personal call. Then as soon as the "no show policy" time hit the clock, someone came out and said "oh you're here. Sorry you missed your appointment." When I told them that I had been in the waiting room being ignored, the therapist gave me the "so what" shrug and look. They also got "pre-approval" from insurance only to then charge us full price because insurance would not cover it. Insurance company said they had no record of being contacted for the pre-approval. read more

My daughter was provided grants from PLSA and the Joy FM 30 Wishes program. After payment to PTA from these grants for her to undergo intensive therapy, a credit balance of $9231.00 exists. Because we relocated out of state due to my husband's job, we were unable to attend another intensive at PTA. I have requested the funds be refunded on several occasions. The Joy FM has also requested the funds be refunded. The owner has refused to refund the money, even though PTA has been paid for all therapy they provided. read more

Our experience was a poor one. We scheduled a consult and the OT who supervised said she didn't know about it, she was busy, but she would try to work us in. I never got a plan of care. After ten visits, I asked about one and the OT shrugged and said she would write one "if we really needed it." My child showed no progress with writing or dressing after 15 visits and I was tired of having my child do coloring of pictures and once, was left alone for 15 minutes while the therapist took a private call (this is what was explained to me when I heard my child crying and went to see what was wrong). That was the end of that. It is a busy and popular practice so I hope our experience was unusual and not replicated. read more

The BEST!!! We have been with PTA for 6.5 years and have grown very close to everyone there. I cannot praise the therapists, staff and teachers enough at this wonderful place. We have tried many other places but they do not compare, you really walk out knowing that these people care about your family and child and are the best in the industry. They offer therapy and also a language program called LEAP for children 2-5 if I am not mistaken. read more
