They keep improving the experience by trying to make you feel even more comfortable as time goes on. An example would be the comfy cushions that they have added at every station and the hand and phone rests at every table. The creativity in doing my nails has been exceptional. His front of house staff told me I had to repay. I explained this was a redo... the desk attendant argued with me, telling me... did you speak to Mr. Moon? - after accepting 3 phone calls as I was trying to check in for my appointment. I did speak to Mr. Moon. I did have a scheduled redo from Graces lackluster appointment. I did try to explain to you & the other colleague who stepped in that this was a redo. After 20 minutes of trying to explain... waiting as the receptionist took call after call, I left & will not return. The receptionist did call later that morning to apologize & confirming it was a redo & no charge if I wanted to come back, but I did not return. There are many other nail salons in the NS which will be more knowledgeable, provide better service & deliver a better customer service experience.

They re uses files and drill bits and do not sterilized metal tools but I assume they sanitize they also have a dog in the salon a lot which isn't a problem to me but if u have allergy's be aware and the lady who does nail art always does good other not always the same story with having to peel acrylic off my fingers. IMPORTANT NOTE FOR PARENTS on the televisions they tend to play more mature movies and shows with sometimes gore and horror and intense language so just be aware but the nail art is always pretty good. Lady's can be kinda rude but it's worth it if u want good nail art

I'll post my reviews right after the manicure so that the details are fresh in my mind. This was one of the pricier salons on my pursuit of the Dazzle Dry manicure. Mind you, it was not the $70+ from the Canyon Ranch at The Palazzo, but it was $38 plus tip, which is on the upper side of the range, considering I've been doing this weekly. The Lacquer Lounge is bright and spacious, with lots of tables and pedicure stations. I sat facing the windows and could watch the passersby in this busy Willow Festival shopping center.They didn't have a large selection of DD colors, and Hannah had to keep shaking the bottle and at one point she went to warm up the bottle? thin out the polish? because the texture was getting thick. Still, she did a nice job with the cuticles and hand massage and the color looks great. The other nail technicians had on cute pink uniforms although she did not. The salon was relaxing and was clean and I liked that every station had cleaner and the tables, chairs and furniture were well-cared for. The salon was busier than the other ones I've gone to recently.

Getting your nails done should be a relaxing, pleasant experience especially when you're paying a premium price. I rarely complain about service, but this place was an anomaly. With several other great nail salons in Northbrook, I'd recommend prospective clients go anywhere but here.

You tell her what you want, she DOESNT listen and then she does what SHE wants. This has happened to me 3 times now, and there will not be a 4th time.
