I live in NC so when I located the car I had searched the internet for (color/gadgets/miles/price point) on their lot, I proceeded with caution as I gathered as much information as I could. I spoke with Joe the first time I called and he was very straightforward, matter of fact, and to the point. This was a plus but not enough to win my confidence. We agreed on a price and I must have called them 3 more times to flesh out questions I had as I thought of them. Each time they patiently answered my questions and helped me problem solve to overcome the challenges of a cross country purchase. When all was said and done, I got the car I wanted for the price we agreed on and not a penny more. The transaction was as straightforward as Joe was the first time we talked. I flew up to Detroit earlier than expected to expedite the purchase so the car was a little dusty when I showed up, but Joe hooked me up with some pocket change to get a nice car wash before hitting the road back to NC. A small gesture but it was consistent with the kind of customer service I'd been receiving from them long before they could tell if I was a serious buyer. Although I would advise any consumer to proceed with caution whenever buying a new/used vehicle, my experience with Sky Auto sales was an unexpected and refreshing reminder that legitimate businesses run by honest businessmen still do exist. If you look up their reviews on google, they have a ridiculously high rating, and again, I was skeptical about that at first, but I've come to realize that these guys do right and have earned every last 5 star review they've received. When we go there the lot was jam packed with cars, it was hard to figure out where to park so I just kind drove to the back and parked and figured I would deal with getting out when the time came. There wasn't any Jeep's on the lot so I asked a guy who seemed like he might work there and he said they were inside and asked if I spoke with Faris. He introduced us to Faris and we followed him through the office, into a couple of sketchy garage areas to the Jeep I came to look at. He took my license and made a copy and gave us the keys and off we went. Decided to make an offer, put a deposit down and he said he would take care of all the paperwork with Secretary of State. Returned the next day, paid the rest of, signed the paperwork and left with my new, used, Jeep. I can't say that I felt safe, but I also wasn't scared. Let's just say, had I been taken advantage of in some way, I wouldn't have been surprised, but I was also surprised at the professionalism of these guys. Faris wasn't in when we first arrived and we were offered water or coffee and an apology for Faris not being there. Faris laminated the paper plate and put it on the car for me and shook my hand and thanked me before I left. The whole thing was just weird. On my way home the check engine light came on. I can't say I was too happy about that, and it turns out it is an emissions sensor. Can't help but wonder if this wasn't something the cleared before the test drive, but whatever. I didn't buy a used car expecting not to have to do things to it. Faris did have, and gave to me, all the auto repair receipts from the previous owner. Wish I had asked about them before I put the deposit down, bad on me. Regardless, I love my Jeep and that is all that matters.

Always I am trying to be skeptic and cautious when I deal with cars. Right before I discovered this place, I was insulted by these uneducated people from a different auto store called "Twins" with inappropriate comments and such "sweetheart" and "darling" etc. Most of people in this industry are not really professional and saying inappropriate things except dealerships per my experience so far. BUT the lady ( I am sorry for forgetting your name) greeted me like her family and explained me the reason for the price deal that they were offering. This place is owned by a family and they just started this business a couple of weeks ago. When I first brought my car, the owners were not present, so I went back the next day and they checked my car again and then we closed the deal. They are still in a growth phase; therefore, the advertisement still is on the way which makes hard to be discovered online. After the deal, I had to head over to the airport and one of the owner kindly gave me to the airport because I no longer had a car. I have to say regardless you like their deal or not, give it a shot. I liked their intention - they are kind and trying to build a trustable business in the area. Tips- If you want to sell your car right at the moment you are headed, try to target between 12-1pm or after 5~6pm because the owners have another daytime job and only can come stop by when they are on break or off work.
