Here in Las Vegas, I have to warn you about ANYBODY using R and L carriers to deliver ANYTHING. If you find out R and L carriers is the company delivering ANYTHING to you, RUN AND HIDE! Now I know what you're thinking, wait a minute, this is US Appliance you are complaining about. Well, you are right. BUT! Due to R and L incompetence and lies, one of three things happen. The items simply never get delivered, or they are delivered with severe damage, OR, they simply drop off whatever you ordered like dumping junk clothes at Goodwill. In the case here with US Appliance, it was non-delivery, after a promised delivery time/date that I had to take time off work to be around. So, alerting US Appliance makes them read their script that 'carrier problems are NOT our problems' Simply put, no refund. I got a call today from US Appliance, telling me that my order would require an extra $1300 charge for delivery. The same delivery that was free when they took my address on their website. Since I had TWO orders, I had to ask which one. It was the smaller order I place today, NOT the larger order I placed 10 days ago. He said that order had been cancelled on the day it was ordered by make bank (lie #1), then he said they had called me on the number I was calling from and "Mike" had told them there was no one by my name; he said he had the number correct (lie #2), and then he told me that I was email about the cancellation, so I checked while we were on the phone... no email anywhere (lie #3), and then he told me they had refunded immediately, so I checked and after 10 days, still no refund (so lie#4). Run!!!! We ordered our first refrigerator in 2003 with their white glove delivery. It came damaged so we did not accept it. We gave them a second opportunity in 2019 with the purchase of a Viking all-refrigerator. It came damaged as they sent it on a tractor trailer with no air suspension. Must have been over the back axle the whole way. So we are replacing it. 4-5 years old. The repair guy is here right now. The top and the bottom were once he started looking closely. There is a refrigerant line that is cracked somewhere inside maybe in a wall. When it arrived all of the packing/cardboard on the new regrigerator said not to remove the unit from the shipping pallet or remove the cardboard until it was being installed because it was top heavy. Website selection is great, giving them your money is easy. The problem is getting a product from them. The credit card charge cleared January 8th. By the 14th, still no news on a delivery date, so I reached out to them. First thing I am told is that my order hasn't been processed because I used a "foreign credit card". Since it had cleared on my Citi bank card, I called BS on that. Next thing was "oh, it's out of stock". This morning, the 15th, I received an email saying that my item is on back order, and the earliest I might see it is March. Currently debating whether the price is worth the aggravation, especially since they have shown they will in no way let me know what to expect. Come March, when there is still no news from them and I reach out again, are they going to tell me June? I can drive to my local big-box and pick one up February 1st for slightly more. If I have any problems with the item when it is (FINALLY) delivered, US Appliance has truly shown already they will be atrocious with continuing customer service. The dishwasher was damaged under the insulation where no inspection would have found it. It is worthless. Furthermore, they want you to keep original packing and pallets until you install and test the appliances. Do you have that much room ? Don't do business with these folks. I tried to give zero stars, but this website made me give one. This is one of the worst, most dysfunctional, inefficient, difficult companies I have ever had to work with. I have a Frigidaire refrigerator that is under the manufacturer's warranty. Unfortunately, US Appliance is the only company that Frigidaire can use in my area. My refrigerator has had a minor, but very annoying problem where it beeps incessantly if not closed at exactly the right pressure and speed. I've been trying to get it fixed for over three months. I could write a book on the problems we've had dealing with this company, but I'll try to keep it short. Their techs don't come when scheduled and if they do show, it's hours late for the appointment. My husband and I have together taken off 5 days of work for someone to either not show, or come as late as 7:30 pm (when the window was 9-3). They call about appointments, but hang up immediately, and then send a text saying you missed the call and to call them. Then they don't answer the phone. If you finally get in touch with someone (in as little as one hour after the "missed" call), they will tell you it's been too long and they had to close the ticket and you have to start the process all over with Frigidaire. Then when you get that done, they come out and tell you they sent the part back that you needed because of the closed ticket. I seriously cannot make this stuff up. I have asked to speak to a supervisor/manager/owner, but have always been told they are not available and have to deal with someone that sounds like they are in another country. It is incredibly frustrating, and after over 3 months and 7 scheduled appointments, my refrigerator has not been fixed. How this company can remain in business is a mystery. read more

They shipped me a $4,000 oven and the box was severely damaged on arrival. Their carrier/driver convinced me to accept it and file a claim if I opened it and it was damaged. And that I would have no problems getting it replaced. I took lots of photos and wrote on the delivery ticket that it was damaged. I did this against my better judgement, but thought it could help all parties out. I was CLEARLY sent a damage unit, there was never a dispute there. What I didn't know is that there was small print on all the BS paperwork from US appliance that required me to make a claim within 24 hrs. I didn't, I reached out in about 72 hours once I had time to open the box. I simply expected them to do the right thing (they did not). Their customer service department started out very friendly, but ultimately ended up being extremely abrasive and put all the responsibility 100% on me. They wouldn't even file a claim with THIER Carrier and made me do it myself, saying they know how it will end up so they weren't going to mess with it. 2-3 months of messing with this, filing a claim with their carrier myself, phone calls, emails, follow ups, etc and being out $4,000. The Carrier actually accepted my claim and paid me a least a portion of the claim. I'm still out $1,000 and the massive headache this has caused me. We ordered appliances more than a month ago and haven't heard a word. I am aware of possible delays but we haven't heard a single word after calling over the last 3 days. I have used them in the past, we got a fridge and couldn't install it right away because of a delay in closing. It was damaged but they refunded us partially. We used them again because of the great customer service. We ordered a fridge and a stove. They both came damaged, the fridge was dented and the stove was severely damaged and dented on one side. When the guy dropped them off he told me he doesn't open them or look the mover. Again, our closing was delayed so we couldn't open them within the 24 hours they state. They told me they couldn't help me and I had to contact GE. GE told me they couldn't help me and I had to contact the store. Even though one item was discontinued, the new item (Better unit) was added to my transaction accurately and instantly. I also wanted to upgrade my Microwave. George had it done in a flash. When I asked a pretty detailed question on the Bosch rebates, George's answer was not only transparent it was in the best interest of his clients. They cancelled my order for a range BY MISTAKE which I ordered in February 2021 and has been on back order since then. When I called them about solutions to fix the issue, I was told that there is nothing they can do to put me back to the original queue that I was, and if I put in an updated order now, it would be delivered in late July. I am moving into a new home in late May and because their careless mistake, I'm not going to have a range for months and I'm still scrambling to place a new order somewhere else. During the whole process, they offered no remorse or solution to fix their mistake, they even claim that "they've been in the business for a long time" and "there's absolutely nothing they can do." I ordered a LG range and refrigerator on 7/26 and it arrived on 8/30. That was a little longer than the 1-3 week estimate, but not by much. The refrigerator has a slight dent on the back on the service access door. I could pound it out, but I'm not going to bother since it's on the back. Other than that, these black matte stainless steel beauties are wonderful. Even though I spent nearly $4900 on the two, I figured I saved about $1300 if I had purchased locally from a big box store. The tax rate here is around 10%, so that makes a big difference. I'd guess that most of the experiences are similar to mine. Otherwise, they wouldn't stay in business. read more

I purchased a hood range extension from us appliance online and received it long after. I didn't open the package within 24 hours. When I opened it the hood extension was extremely damaged with a dent that is not fixable. When I called customer service the agent was extremely rude with me and first argued with me and told me that the carrier that delivered the item was not FEDEX when I clearly read the email I received from fedex regarding the item I purchased. I did not have to sign for anything which she lightly argued as well. Then told me that after 24 hours it's not their problem and laughed when I asked to speak to the manager. I don't know if she was laughing because I was so upset with her attitude with my 1 year old screaming in the background or what but when I asked for the manager she said that the manager was listening to the conversation the whole time then told me she wasn't available to talk to me and sent me to her voicemail. At this point my baby is screaming and I'm in tears leaving a voicemail and I'm so upset I don't even know what I said. The manager called me back later in the week and left me a voicemail telling me they don't replace damages after it's been 24 hours. I would rate US Appliance zero stars if I could. From start to finish, our experience was a disaster. I opted to purchase from them despite subpar reviews because they assured me that the items I wanted (black stainless Kitchenaid refrigerator, range, dishwasher, and microwave) were available in February, 2022 despite being out of stock at other big box stores. Once purchased, that ship date changed to March, then April. I began cancelling items as they became available elsewhere, and they "magically appeared" available to ship to us from US Appliance. The first range came in pristine packaging yet was very obviously dropped - there was a puncture in the side of it and both sides had large dents. We were outside of the 24-hour return window once discovered, but US Appliance charged us $240 to return it and ship a new one. The new one was also dented badly on both sides from a forklift or something? But at least no puncture... Then the dishwasher came - also in pristine packaging. Upon installation, a large dent was discovered on the interior side of the door. Again, because we are outside of the 24-hour return window, we are now stuck with it. The refrigerator is also dented on the side, but concealed and cosmetic only so it is not as concerning. I should have cancelled the entire order. The delivery person stated that this is common practice for the company and blames inadequate pallets/packaging; however, all packages appeared undamaged - almost as if they are selling damaged goods in new packaging. The sales rep sold me on paying extra $100 to deliver the fridge upstairs - by phone he went through some detail to say the first 7 stairs were $75 and the next 5 stairs were $25. Pre-note; My Kenmore Elite was in repair for 6 months. so i decide to buy a new stove. Selected this stove for the induction and air fryer. So excited i even order the rack. Noticed immediately the back panel was dented and could see wires via the back panel. Noted these below issues and call Frigidaire on Saturday morning (received on Friday) since I know US Appliance was not opened. They were not open also Finally Spoke to US Appliance Twice and both time they refuse to replace the stove. They want me to go in repair. I purchased a new stove and want a new working stove. Issues 1. Back Panel popped out (can see how the screw was forced in) 2. Quick Preheat does not preheat 3. Convection fan comes on for non-convection bake 4. Fan is extremely loud. I had a convection oven and the fan was nowhere near this loud. Gives headache and do not want to cook. 5. Still strong burning smell not oven smell but something else 6. Oven does not retain heat settings (can see this by increasing temperature) I feel they are behind on production and trying to get ovens out; but they need to slow down and produce the stoves correctly. Repair is not an option. I could have just kept my Kenmore Elite and repaired it. I want a new stove that work out the box and do not need repair or they can come and get this one. I bought a grill and a grill cover. We agreed on a delivery from 9am to 5pm. My wife and 2 kids stayed at home all day waiting for the delivery, but it never showed up. I called them, and they argued that the delivery was here and no one answer the door and that they called me and no one answered the phone. There were 3 humans at the house and they were not here. I sent them my phone log to showed they that I did not received any phone call. But they keep arguing that the delivery company was here... Unbelievable. They charged me a re-delivery fee. ** Worst customer service I have ever experienced ** - Placed an order in June. Without calling me or emailing me (I have checked all mail boxes including junk) they canceled our order - Thinking the items were on back order due to COVID I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited until today to call to check up on the order. - The sales representative I spoke with stated that due to them being so busy it was likely that my order was canceled without any follow ups and the order was originally canceled because of a billing code due to using a post office box. - The only option left was to order online and wait another 6-8 weeks for the appliance - I spoke with a manager who clearly did not care about this problem and rather than owning up to a mistake, very aggressively placed the blame onto me because they "emailed me several times". - Both the sales representative and the manager stated that the email was probably blocked by Gmail as this happens often when they email customers. This is a poor business practice. Due to COVID and the surge in appliance sales they simply did not care about my particular sale. A customer would hope that after spending several thousand dollars on a product the company would at least have the decency to call you. Pros: The price was dirt cheap My products were brand new worked as advertised. After two years, everything is still working. Cons: Ordered 11/14/2014 didn't get my delivery until 1/9/2015. Almost two months after my order date did I finally get my appliances. Luckily, I had planned way ahead and didn't have my construction going on as I designed around my appliances. We ordered a full kitchen appliance package. Refrigerator, Stove, Dishwasher, built in microwave and vent hood. We didn't notice that the refrigerator box had a little tear in it until we went to submit a rebate (you have to unbox to get the serial number). Anyway, the refrigerator looks like it had been run into on the front with a fork lift. We unboxed the dishwasher and it had a mold smell to it, which seemed odd. The packaging looked fine. The actual dishwasher had the top massively dented, the bottom massively dented, the molding torn, and the drawers wouldn't retract. This did not look like anything that could have happened in shipping. It looked like a used model, that had been dropped a few times off the truck, and then repackaged and sent to us, the unsuspecting consumers. So, assuming the best, we called Us appliance to get replacements or repairs. Or basically for them to make it right. Apparently, you have no recourse whatsoever, if you don't immediately unbox and inspect everything. Otherwise its just good luck to you. So Basically $3,300 were just flushed down the toilet. This is not a reputable firm. Stay well and far away. I could not be more infuriated with them. I assume the refrigerator was damaged in shipping. I assume the dishwasher was fraud. Another one-star review for US Appliance, and for an issue they could have easily fixed for this customer. Easy online ordering, excellent delivery service, gorgeous cook top, but way overpriced, misleading price match policy, discouraging return policy, and uninterested customer service representatives. The day I received my cook top, I found it on Amazon for $300 less than US Appliance listed price, and $105 less than what I paid. After two emails and a phone call to request a price adjustment, US Appliance denied it because the order had already been placed. Twelve days earlier, they would have honored their price-match policy and added 10% of the difference. But after they had my money, they won't do anything. US Appliance makes returning difficult too. The cost to return my cook top would be about $125 for shipping and $76 restocking fee. Crossing my fingers this cook top works and I won't have to deal with US Appliance again. Wednesday (ship day 13, three days overdue): Called and spoke with Tammy again who said her computer broke on Tuesday, so she went home early. But that our appliances would be to the second to last stop to get to us maybe on Thursday, and she'd call me with an update on Thursday. Oh, and THEY LOST THE MICROWAVE. Thursday: No word from Tammy.... (I'm panicking at this point, as we're moving on Friday into a house with no appliances. I'm also six months pregnant, and this move has been stressful enough without the addition of wondering how I'm going to cook and store food.) Friday: I call Tammy at 7am frantically looking for our appliances. Well, she has an update. They'll be at our local fulfillment center on....the following Tuesday. Which makes them not even delivered to us on ship day 17. I asked her to work with MDX (their shippers) to expedite the shipping, and that we'd pay whatever they quoted her in order to get our appliances to us ASAP. She assured me she'd call us by her end of day with a quote and/or update. This time she actually did call, five minutes before she was leaving for the weekend, to tell my husband that she hadn't heard from MDX, and that our appliances would be at the fulfillment center closest to us on Tuesday. The SAME THING SHE TOLD ME AT SEVEN AM. My husband and I moved into our house, without appliances, on Friday (ship day 15.) I had to go buy a microwave so we can eat, and have filled our ice chest with ice to keep things like milk and eggs cold. I assure you, this is NOT the ideal situation for a pregnant lady. We won't know when we'll have our appliances until they arrive at our local fulfillment center - which is supposed to be tomorrow. I'm not holding my breath. I do have a grill, which is nice since the weather is nice. But picking up ice every day has been a pain in the rump. tl;dr: Useless customer service, non-responsive, still without appliances even though we ordered with a two week pad for delivery mishaps.
