Aside from the precarious journey getting there at the crack of dawn by bus(*), my 7:50am interview with Officer Timothy Carlson went smooth and straightforward. When you arrive, just sit down until someone comes out of the office and ask who's next. What really helped me find the place was someone's photo of Pillar #24, which helped to guide me to the escalators upstairs to the US Customs & Border Protection office. (*) The only bus that goes to the airport is the W-Line, which used to be the #20. The route has changed and the only stop at the airport is in front of the LEI stands. You catch the bus going back at the same place. Walk towards the airport. There's a sidewalk up to a point, then you have to carefully walk on a piece of land by a fence until you get to the roads that run by the Arrivals. Take a good look to your right to make sure there are no vehicles coming and walk across the road to the pedestrian walkway. Press the button and cross when the Walk signal lights up. The Pillar there is #29, so walk right to #24 and take the escalators up and go right. Whew. read more

The Global Entry process went very smoothly for us. Probably the only stressful part was getting to the Enrollment Center on time for the interview. Not knowing where it was, unsure of parking, and how hectic the airport can be made me anxious. This is how it went for us, including a timeline which turned out to be much less than what I read online: 1. Fill out application online. 2. After 1 day, we were notified we received condional approval and to schedule the in-person interview. They had available times as early as a couple days later. In order to get the times we wanted, our appointments were six days later. 3. On the day of the interview, ideally, you should go to the Terminal 2 Parking and park on the first floor, Ewa-side. Then you can just walk across to the main building. Once you get to the main building, take the elevator to Floor 2. Exit the elevator and head Ewa, walking between the airline check-in and roadway. After a 5-10 minute walk, depending on where you crossed over from the parking lot, you should see the sign below. 4. The interview only takes about 5 minutes. 5. About 2 hours after the interview, we received an email saying we received final approval. The whole process took only 8 days!!! Quick and easy. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes and paid $1 parking. Parking Tips: 1. Park in Terminal 1 for Hawaiian airlines 2. Park on the side closest to the ocean. There's a set of elevators on that end. 3. Take those elevators down to level 2, departures/check-in 4. You're outside next to Hawaiian's lobby. Turn right and walk towards the mainland Terminal 2. It's outdoors but covered. Once you get there, it's the very first right and you'll see the set of elevators they talk about. Global entry is right over there. Ring the doorbell and have a seat. Don't walk across the bridge to the international garage, go down to arrivals and take the escalator up. That way is too long winded, and you can't cross from the Intl garage on the departure level. Terminal 2 parking is way past where you need to go, and you can go there but it'll take you longer. read more

After completing my global entry application online I waited till It said I was able to make an appointment. After checking multiple times, the earliest appointment times at the office closest to me (not in Hawaii) was 8 months away! On my last trip to Asia, I scheduled a stop over in Hawaii for a few days to break up the long flight. Luckily I checked to see if there were appointments available while I was in Hawaii, and there were! So instead of 8 months out it was only 1! I brought a bunch of documents to prove my identity, the ones I provided in the application and more. At the interview all they asked for was my passport, but I'd bring more forms of identification just in case. The officer who interviewed me was courteous and he explained everything and asked if I had any questions. I was told finding the office was difficult but I was given really good directions and also gave myself an extra 20 minutes before my appointment time. Being at the airport I had someone drop me off and pick me up after. HOW TO GET THERE The office is located between terminal 1&2. If you're getting dropped off head to arrivals terminal 1 and go thru terminal 1 and have them drop you off in one of the first zones in terminal 2 (zone 24-26) Take the escalator to the 2nd floor. The global entry office will be to the right, you'll see signs pointing you there. The door is closed and the officer will come out and call out the appointment time. FYI your global entry is good for 1 year after it expires to allow you to apply for renewal after the 6 year expiration date (be sure to login to your account and check when you are eligible for renewal). You should be able to begin the renew process after 5 years. Also don't forget to declare everything when you travel or your global entry privileges will be pulled. read more

Finding the Global Entry Enrollment Center seemed a bit daunting, so I read up on it and arrived early for my appointment. - Park in the Terminal 1 parking garage (closest to Hawaiian Airlines). - At Row D, level 5, cross over to the area that says "International Garage" (pictured). - Use the elevator to get to the ground floor, row J. - Cross the street to Terminal 2 and turn right. - Take the "Group Tours" escalator (pictured) to the 2nd floor. - Follow the "Global Entry Enrollment Center" signs (the office should be on your right). - There are directions on the door on how to proceed for your appointment. Better take a jacket because it's freezing. They open at 8 so don't go to early or the security will send you back down. The 2 staff were super friendly and helpful and spoke other languages. I know people are nervous going there but renewing the green card is just updating the information in their system since it's like starting the process all over. Initially, the Travel Security Administration was created in the wake of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, formed under the Department of Transportation and tasked to take over all security functions of the U.S. Transportation systems (highways, railroads, busses, mass transportation, pipelines, ports, and airports). The attacks changed the way the U.S. approached airport security and marked the birth of the Transportation Security Administration. Seemingly overnight, passengers went from walking through security in minutes to having to show photo ID, remove their shoes and go through a stringent security screening before boarding airplanes. Before 2001 and since the founding of TSA, we have traveled domestically and abroad frequently and have seen dramatic changes to the airport and port security. Yes, we've had our share of standing in long lines, removing our shoes, and ensuring that we weren't carrying liquids, gels, and aerosols exceeding 3.4 oz. However, in late 2014, TSA PreCheck became available, and we signed up right away. We were about to renew our TSA PreCheck, which is about to expire but chose to apply for the Global Entry Trusted Traveler program because as the world reopens from the pandemic, we plan to travel abroad again. We submitted our applications online late last year, waited for conditional approval then scheduled our appointment for our in-person interviews at this service center located at the Daniel Inouye International Airport. Contrary to the Yelp marker, which for some reason points to a Universal Enrollment Center (TSA PreCheck, only) on Richards Street, the correct location for the Global Entry Enrollment is located at the Ewa end of our International Airport. We've seen and acquainted ourselves with the CORRECT location and its dedicated parking lot while peering out from the mauka windows near gates D1 & D2. I had scheduled our appointments about a month before our TSA PreCheck expiration which would give the Agency time to approve and issue our cards. We didn't have any issues locating the Enrollment Center, which is located on the second floor above the International Arrivals. Our appointments were 15 minutes apart, so I stood outside the Enrollment Center waiting for my husband before my turn came up. While waiting, another woman came up and was about to ring into the office, but I told her my husband was inside for his interview and inquired about her appointment time. Her appointment was after mine, and just then, my husband popped out from his interview and motioned me to enter the interview room. The agent on duty was courteous, friendly, and professional. I provided a copy of my appointment confirmation, Hawai'i Drivers License, U.S. Passport, and two utility bills showing proof of residency. He inquired about my intentions for Global Entry, captured my fingerprints, and then took my photo. Ladies, take note that you'll have your photo taken so you can either dress appropriately or "put on your face." I asked if I would be allowed to smile for the picture, and surprisingly, he said yes, which is unlike when you take photos for your passport. So, now, we are waiting to get the final approval for Global Entry membership (good for five years, upon approval) and card, which should take about 7 to 10 business days. I first enrolled for Global Entry back in 2016. Fee is $100 for 5 years. It's an easy online application process which will ask you a series of questions ranging from personal info, passport doc's, current employment status and past employment & travel history. Once your online enrollment is complete, you have to schedule an in-person interview with US Customs at your local Airport. The interview process takes about 5 minutes with a few questions, finger prints, and picture taking for your ID. Your card will arrive in mail a few days later. There are benefits to having a Global Entry card because you can reduce your wait time when arriving from an International flight to a US Airport, you've already been prescreened prior to receiving your ID, automatically making you a low-risk traveller, allows you to bypass the processing line and utilize the kiosks in the International Arrivals Hall, and you're able to bypass Security when traveling Interisland and on Domestic Flights via TSA Precheck! This past summer, I noticed my Global Entry was going to expire in October 2021. I went online to renew my card, paid for the fee, and scheduled an in-person interview. At that time the next available appointment's in Honolulu wasn't until later this fall. It also gave me options of other US cities on the mainland to schedule an appointment as well. So I booked the first available for November 8 and kept that date for when I return to work. Before heading in to work, I went in on a Monday afternoon to the US Customs Office. I see there are signage saying that the location for renewal is at another secure office on the 2nd level of the Ewa Wing. Followed directions & signs, and it was just a few minutes walk upstairs. A Customs Officer name Hazel assisted me. She was so personable and accommodating as I was a few minutes behind. We talked stories and was mentioning only about 60 some Japanese paxs arrived in HNL earlier in the day! She also said many of my other work colleagues were walking in to renew their global entry too! Well first of all I went there to get global entry and paid the $200 something and come to find out that they will not allow you to get it even though you have an expunged record. They tell you they have to take a look at your court records to make their decision but they will not give you a chance and not refund you your money. Scam. read more

As of 01/28/2022 the Global Entry office is still on the second floor of the international terminal (west most side of the building). My appointment was today at 6:45AM. WHAT TO BRING: -Passport -Driver's License or ID -Utility Bill (my address didn't match my driver's license) -Appointment Confirmation PARKING: I uploaded a photo of instructions how to get to the parking (someone uploaded before, thought I'd update it in case you need help). Anyway, my experience for Global Entry interview. The parking situation was great! I did not want to pay for parking at the parking garage so I'm glad US Customs has their own little parking lot. It was easy to find and a short walk to the office. HOW TO GET THERE: From your parking stall you'll see a HUGE "US CUSTOMS" sign in blue. Walk straight past that sign towards the arrivals area of the airport. On the right you'll see JBL booths and right after an escalator to the second floor. Take the elevator up and it will be on your immediate right. There will be signs on the wall and a small corridor with a door at the end. (It's the door straight ahead, not left or right). I arrived a minute late because airport security SWEARS Global Entry was on the first floor even though I showed them the instructions that clearly state second floor (sigh, my advice don't listen to them). Once on the second floor, you ring the intercom (on the left side of the door) and state your name and appointment time. If someone is already inside, the officer will ask you to wait outside until their call you (COVID, duh). The space for interviews is honestly small, it fits like two people. INTERVIEW: I make it to my appointment and Officer Orcutt was super nice and informative while talking me through everything. I was asked questions that were on my application - he was pretty much verifying the information I input was accurate. They also ask why you want a Global Entry card (because it's $15 more than pre-check so why not, right? LOL). Make sure to bring your documents with you for your appointment! Also ladies, they take your picture so make sure you're prepared. Luckily from prior reviews, I read they take your picture so I came prepared, haha. Returning back to the USA... Unlike other reviewers, I do not have Global Entry. I'm just a normal passenger with a regular American passport. During this visit, I returned home to Honolulu from Hong Kong via Manila. I completed a US Customs form on the plane (Philippine Airlines) and stated that I was not carrying questionable items such as fruit, meat, and soil. I also stated that I was bringing in less than $10,000 worth of goods/currency. When I arrived at the office, I scanned my passport at one of the kiosks (which asked similar questions as the form). There were several lines and we were guided through to the face-to-face interview. Everything ran smoothly! We all proceeded to the baggage claim and went out the doors. Group tours exited to the left and individuals used the door on the right. I thank our Federal workers for keeping our country safe! read more

I wanted to leave a short review to help out future Global Entry applicants and travelers. 1. Be on time. 2. Make sure to bring your passport and drivers license (and any other documents indicated via your confirmation page on your account). 3. Parking is available at the airport. The most convenient place to park is the Terminal 1 parking garage. However, on the day of my visit I decided to take a Lyft to avoid dealing with a potentially full parking garage and risk missing my appointment. 4. From Terminal 1, walk towards Terminal 2 until you see a sign designating "Group Tour Bus Area". Follow the arrow, and you'll eventually come to a sign that reads "Global Entry Enrollment Center". 5. There are sitting areas nearby in case you are slightly early for your appointment. 6. There are specific instructions on the door to the office, namely "Ring the doorbell one time only". The attending officer/staff admits only one applicant at a time, just an fyi. Again, please be on time. Not sure if you'll lose your place if you don't show up for your scheduled appointment time. 7. Once inside the office, just merely follow the instructions of the officer. Your photo and fingerprints will be taken. You will also be asked a series of questions. The total time of the appointment should be around 10-15 minutes. Some handouts/reading materials regarding Global Entry will also be provided. A recent visit here for Mink prompted me to finally review this place. If you travel internationally, at least once a year, you have to apply for Global Entry. You will apply online and wait for an appointment date. Make sure you do this ahead of time because they are busy and sometimes you'll have to wait months to get an appointment. If you travel internationally often, you can do your interview on the way back from an international trip when you land at HNL to shorten the wait time for the appointment. US Customs & Border Protection is located between Hawaiian Airlines and International Arrivals in HNL. You go up the escalator and there will be signs. It's on the right hand side all the way at the end where a stand-alone wooden door resides. There are signs to read and you push the button to speak to someone. They do not currently take walk ins and are by appointment only. Staff is efficient by asking you a few questions prior to biometrics and a photo. You get your Global Entry in the mail shortly after. Nice and prompt service--once star knocked off for directions and parking. I'm Local born and raised but figuring out where ewa is in relation to where you are in the airport is confusing to me, so I provided a video of Directions I took while exiting the office. It's easier if dropped off but if not you can park and walk. If dropped off: Take the departures cut off for Hawaiian airlines in the airport and follow it until the inter island terminal ends. The new global entry office is right at the beginning of the international terminal departures (lines the right of the airport, parking structures are on the left.) You will see white and blue signs signaling the new office. If driving: Park at the old location, as it's closer. Once parked, you'll see the "US customs and border protection" sign with an arrow pointing right--GO STRAIGHT past the sign as right is the old office. You'll see ticket counters to the right with JTB check-ins--pass those until you see 2 escalators going up and stairs to the left of them. Go up and follow the path (slight right then immediate left after getting off the escalator.) You will see the sign and proceed to follow. read more

They are only by appointment since covid started, so no walk-ins allowed at all. You will have to go online, answer some questions and pay before anything else. Think I also uploaded my required documents. It was last June so I'm not 100% sure. It's October now, thats how long the whole process to get here for the interview. After you pay, you wait at least a month to get an email saying you got conditional approval and you can now schedule your appointment. I think my email arrived 6 weeks after I paid. Only when you get that email and conditional approval can you then schedule your interview. Earliest available for me was 3-1/2 months out. Getting to the Enrollment Office was confusing as it says on my confirmation, go to group arrivals in main terminal. I thought main terminal was Terminal 1. I dont know why they don't just say Terminal 2. It's from there that you take the Escalator up. When you get upstairs, there is a sign that says Enrollment Office is to the left. It's just maybe 10 feet away from that sign that you will see door on the right side. Ring the doorbell. I arrived 6:30 for my 6:45 am appointment even if I had to walk from Terminal 1 Lobby 1 to Terminal 2 Lobby 4. Process itself took only 15 minutes where efficient lady scanned my passport, asked a few questions, took my picture and fingerprints. Very courteous, efficient and professional lady. Head straight and park in the small lot where it says "US customs and border protection." It is a small lot next to the tour group parking lot. If you have been to USCIS before, don't go to the same spot (downstairs). They have moved upstairs. Same vicinity, just upstairs, near the group arrival area. There are signs posted. 4 stars for the awesome service you get when you finally do have an appointment. I would give 2 stars for lack of consistency among offices. I had tried walking up before and seeing if they would accept a walk-in interview (already pre-conditionally approved), but was told no- unless we were coming back from an international trip, which we weren't. Living on the Big Island, we had to fly to HNL for the "interview" for my 2 year old toddler. That seems ridiculous in itself, but that's an issue for the US govt, not the local staff here. Anyhow, while sitting for the interview today, the couple next to us says they were having a walk-in interview!! Sheesh, so I could have gotten lucky with a different officer on another day, and saved $600 in airfare for our 2 minute interview. Oh well, the point of being here in the first place was for global entry, which is a privilege we paid for out of want, not need. The staff were all very awesome, both times I have been here. Top notch employees, nothing bad to say about any of them. Hopefully when it comes time to renew the passes in a few years, it can be done online- or a walk-in, when we are already in HNL for something else. First of all -- Yelp direction is misleading. I was dropped off by my husband. (At the very beginning of the Departures level.) Here's what happened to me: *Found the brown door right in the middle, rang the bell once and waited for someone to assist. *An officer came out, confirmed my appointment time, and took my passport. *Waited for 20 mins until an officer called my last name. You should bring with you the following items for the interview: Passport Drivers license (did not need to present) A copy of the confirmation application (printed from your online application) The interview was relatively quick and less than 15 minutes where you will be asked a series of questions about your background. You will then be asked to take a photo and provide fingerprints. The interviewing officer will then take any questions and give you a brief overview of how the Global Entry protocol works. I came here for my global entry interview a week ago, not knowing what to expect, and with the previous reviews, was nervous about not finding the office. I got there 20 minutes early, and was able to find it easily, as there are many signs indicating the "global entry" office. The officer who conducted my interview greeted me at the door, took my passport and checked me in, while he had me wait outside for a couple of minutes while the couple before me were finishing their interview. There was also a lady there who had her global entry card stolen. They couldn't really do much for her there, since they are only contracted to do the interview, but they looked up her KTN to make it easier when she contacts the correct people for her new card. The interview was quick, located right on the inside of the door (no one else but officers were inside). After the interview, they described the program, and getting my card in the mail in a few weeks, as well as to expect an email with my approval letter and KTN. The officers were nice and friendly, and if anyone has been thinking about applying for the program, do it! Especially since here in HI, the TSA lines can get crazy, and customs lines coming in from Asia can be long too. read more

The convenience of your next international trip comes at the expense of your afternoon on an impossible quest trying to find the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Global Visitor window. Call a friend who's been through the process and ask them to accompany you on this trip to save yourself the headache. Budget an hour to make sure you can get to the right spot without stressing (bonus points if you bring high protein snacks and a source of hydration). The Global Entry Program is a convenience tax that travelers can pay to schedule an interview with a customs/border control agent to get pre-screened for re-entry into the United States. The application process is somewhat tedious and you'll probably want to be sure to enroll early because it takes months to get an appointment. Be sure not to double pay for the TSA pre-check for domestic flights because that's included in this frequent flyer program. Finding parking is your first challenge. There are a few marked spots right outside of the U.S. Customs & Border Protection, although it's not obvious when you read the signs. It's easy to miss the exact turn nearby the airport U.S. Postal Service location. Be sure to call a friend so you don't miss it! Finding the current office is another challenge. The location changed to the second floor, Ewa wing. The directions provided were to the effect of "it's hard to describe, go up the stairs, through the corridor, and locate the brown door." You're looking for a very specific door that's easy to miss walking about the airport. When you finally arrive at the "brown door," you'll realize that there is no receptionist assigned to this service to handle intake of interviewees. Everyone tends to arrive early for their appointment and gets instructed to wait outside. There's no waiting area, by the way, and certainly not one close to the "brown door." There are serious accessibility issues if you are bringing an older family member, or someone with mobility issues. Be sure to plan ahead and bring a chair with you for the wait - no joke! You'll soon forget the experience with your next international destination. Look for the global re-entry kiosk for the $100+ and painful adventure you endured to spend less time in the immigration purgatory. read more

Coming here was easier than I thought it would be. As other Yelpers have mentioned, the interview is pretty simple and fast. Max time would be at least 15 minutes (unless you have issues). I parked at terminal 1 parking and walked over to the office. What you should know: If you park at terminal 1 parking (Hawaiian), get off on the 2nd level (departures) and you can walk over to terminal 2. You can also get off on ground level and walk over, but will need to go 1 flight up. When you walk over (on the 2nd level) you will see a currency exchange on your right. The customs office is directly after that on the right side. Look for the signs posted (see other posts pics for signage). At the door - knock on the door (per the sign) and wait for someone to open the door. Interview - have your picture taken. Scan your fingerprints. Inform them if there are any corrections to your application. Answer the questions. Then you are done. Good luck. read more

This is located at the airport. When going, stay on right side (arrival) and head toward Hawaiian air but You will go straight and pass it. At the first stop sign, turn right. Then straight (~100 ft) and turn left where all the buses are. Then go straight and park on the left side where it has a green sign stating customer parking. Get out of car and head straight toward the Japanese kiosks / travel companies until you pass them and see two escalators on your right. Go up and head toward your 2 o'clock. You will see a brown door with signs (enrollment) in less than 30 seconds. If not, you went too far and now you're lost. Backtrack and start again. Btw, make sure to have your passport! read more

Pretty easy to find...after I studied previous reviews! Where ever you are at the departures level (after hawaiian), just go to your right (when facing the check-in areas and your back is facing the cars dropping off people). You'll find it...it just takes a little research. My "interview", if you want to call it that, was just re-asking questions that I already answered on the application and confirming my personal information. It was also done right at the front of the office, where a receptionist would normally sit and it was only one person interviewing me. Oh well...I got approved for TSA pre-check with Global Entry and was told my card would come in about 2 weeks. It actually came in 5 days (interview and approved on Monday morning - first appointment of the day) and card received Saturday. Dude. I'm so ready to not take off my shoes, take out my quart bag of liquids and not do that x-ray machine where who knows what is really seen/not seen. Navigating the airport is beyond impossible. Luckily with Jamila's awesome directions, it made the process much easier. Unfortunately the office moved locations with the ongoing renovations. Here are the new directions to get to the office, good luck! Directions (Parking Directions Still Same As Jamilas) 1. Go to Hawaiian Airlines/InterIsland Arrivals. Stay in the middle lane. 2. When you get to the mini intersection where you usually turn left to get to the other baggage claims, STOP. Keep going straight onto Ewa Access Road. 3. You'll see parking lots with tour buses and other trucks. You'll come to sorta a "fork" in the road where you can turn left, right, or keep going straight. Turn left. 4. The CBP lot is at the end. There should be a sign as well. There are 7 stalls available. 5. To get to the office, don't follow the signs! They moved and haven't updated yet. Walk past all JTB check in counters. There will be two escalators and stairs going up to the second floor. The Global Entry Enrollment Center is in the nook immediately on the right. The actual interview process was quick and painless. Have your passport and ID ready to go, that's the first thing they need. They'll ask a couple questions, take a picture, scan your fingerprints and you'll be on your way. 10 minutes later I received an email saying I was approved and my entry card would be coming in the mail within 2 weeks. Just hoping my picture doesn't look as horrendous as the one on my drivers license. Hopefully this helped. Good Luck!! read more

I appreciated Michael C's directions, but was a little confusing to me. Walking at ground level is difficult due to vehicle traffic. Also some older reviews were for the previous location. Here's my take... 1. Get there early for your appointment, not just on time. Because you will spend time walking and looking for the office, and most people there don't really know it. 2. Make sure to bring your passport and driver's license (and any other documents indicated via your confirmation page on your account). However, all he looked at was my passport. Don't need any more money either. 3. The airport and the parking is confusing, and not setup for walking between the terminals. Less confusing would be to park in the main parking. Because I parked in Inter-Island (Terminal 1) garage on level 5, I found the moving sidewalk to get to Main terminal parking, at level 6. I went down to Ground, crossed the street to the international end of the main terminal. 4. Once at the main terminal, go up the elevator to level 2, then walk (Ewa) on the outside main walkway almost to the very end. There is a wide corridor with a visible sign on the wall just before the end - you cannot miss it. 5. There are sitting areas in the terminal in case you are early for your appointment, but be by the door for your appointed time. 6. At the end of this corridor is the door to the office. There are instructions on the door to the office, "Ring the doorbell one time only". And this applies to the white normal doorbell, not the video one. They will ask you to wait via the intercom. The officer admits only one applicant inside at a time. 7. The officer will immediately ask for your passport. He only asked me why I wanted Global Entry. You may be asked more questions. Your photo and electronic fingerprints will be taken. That's it. The total time of the appointment should be around 10-15 minutes. 8. You will receive a final approval email within 48 hours. And receive your card (he showed me one) within 10 days. He said you do not need to bring the card during travel, as scanning your passport will show them you have Global entry. Hello Fellow Travelers! You are likely here because you were unable to get directions to US Customs & Border Protection to complete your Global Entry Application Interview. I'm sure they do other things, but you know you're reading this for that. This is based on the assumption that you've already done your application, for a detailed explanation of the application process and what you should bring to your interview, see Yelper Ed L.'s review. It's useful for that information. Although I couldn't get through to the office when I called for directions, the staff was super helpful. Your interview will be 15 minutes or less. They've vetted you pretty thoroughly based on your application. You will watch about a 6 minute video about the program and then you will speak with a customs agent who will ask you questions about your travel and application. You'll take a picture for your Global Entry Card, and then you'll be on your way. They'll let you know right away if you've been approved and your approval will be emailed to you that day, and your card should get to you in a week or two at your mailing address. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy. Now the somewhat hard part....Directions to the Office. Yelp gave me some of the information I needed, but I'm gonna give you a bit more directions. 1) Drive to the Honolulu International Airport 2) At the airport, drive past the arrivals/baggage claim in the Hawaiian/Interisland Terminal. It's best to be on the outside lane, not the lane where you would actually pick up someone. 3) Do not turn left to go buy the other baggage claims, keep straight. You'll feel like you're not supposed to, but you're supposed to. 4) On your left will be the a big parking lot that may have tour buses etc to pick up travelers after they've gone through customs. Pass by that lot. 5) Immediately, after that lot, you'll see that you can make a left that goes into a smaller parking lot. Take that left. If you go straight here, you're definitely going somewhere you're not supposed to be. 6) There are about 6-8 parking stalls labeled CBP/USDA, you can park in any one of these stalls. If they're full, you're gonna have to pay for parking in the airport. 7) When you park, you'll see the USDA office ahead of you. There will be a hallway to the left of that office. The Customs and Border Patrol Office is the second door on the right. There's a huge government seal on it that can't be missed. Good Luck to all! read more

*IMPORTANT* If you're having trouble finding an appointment online in Honolulu I will tell you the best way to secure one. If you search for soonest available Hawaii will not pop up anywhere, if you search for an appointment by a certain date you cannot see Hawaii either. You must search for a specific date in the future. I looked today and the earliest appointment available is February. I hope this helps I spent a week trying to find an appointment before I played around with this method and it works. I will update the review after I have my interview and hopefully I can add some stars. As of now the website is difficult to navigate unless you pick a specific date further along in the calendar.
