I've been coming to this Crest for well over 10 years and have never had a truly negative experience. Being open 24/7 is a MASSIVE perk for me as a night shift worker and just all over night owl, and the employees are always kind, friendly, and never overbearing. The store offers an amazing selection, including niche items you don't typically find anywhere else, all at pretty reasonable price. Their fresh meat and seafood section may not be five-star, but it's still impressively good for the price and location. On top of that, the layout is most importantly clean and spacious . Honestly, I'd much rather shop here any time of day than deal with the overcrowding and poor hygiene at the Walmart down the street. This store is not good for mostly vegetable eaters. The vegetables are not good here... does not have progresso chicken carbonara soup.(hard to find soup its good) the crest french bread is good. * had some great bread here* The broccoli is not ideal. The mushrooms are 1 dollar more then other stores. The sugar snap peas are 1 dollar more. The asparagus was 2.50 more and it looked old wilted. * i didn't get it * The veggies are just not great here. Frustrated shopper seeks vegetables at 3 am..and fails. cashier was nice give her a raise and let them wear there own clothes and give them chairs. I went to Crest today and bought several items. If you buy two, milk (both 2% and regular) is discounted. However, they charged me full price because I bought one of each. The packing person put dish soap with spaghetti, yogurt, and spaghetti sauce in one bag. On the way home, the dish soap leaked all over the other items. When I got out of the truck and lifted the bag, it was dripping on the vehicle floor and the driveway. About one-third of the soap spilled out of the bag. I went back to the store and got a replacement for the spaghetti. It was a really bad experience. read more

Went shopping for my Bai flavored water. We don't live close to a Crest but love to stop by. They are having an Anniversary Sale! My 6 pack of Bai was like 5.98. Usually almost 9. At Walmart. I just recently tried it and fell in love with the pineapple coconut. I can't find it in the multi packs but love other flavors too. They are only 10 calories and just 55mg of caffeine per bottle. So stocked up for sure. Lots of other sales too, like Boom Chicka pop, popcorn ! We come to this location or the big Midwest City location. Always clean, nice checkers. This time we purchased cooler bags to take home for our meat. They are a little small for 7 , so I will get one from Braums to use next time. Hot summer times, we can only shop for non Ice box things. I have just found 1 food thing that they don't carry, my Glory seasoned Spinach. Purchased meat last night that had ALREADY expired almost 2 weeks ago. Called and talked to customer service and I could drive across town to exchange it for another package. Asked if I could go to another location with my receipt and exchange since this location is ~25 miles away. They said I can only exchange for the same location. Poor customer service. I purchased juice that was two weeks away from expiring. The next day the juice had a horrible smell to it. The taste was not bad but I could not get past the taste. I looked at the bottle and there was mildew particles in the bottle. I reached out many times to the store with no help. I put the complaint on facebook then management reached out. I wish I could give negative stars some days for this Crest at 104th & S Penn. The staff is so negative and cranky at times. Today was one of those days. The baggers should really ask if shoppers want paper or plastic. I paid, looked over to grab my bags and they were in paper. Since I reuse my plastic grocery bags for lots of things, I politely asked for plastic instead and was huffily told they were already in paper. Seriously? Anyway, be sure and ask first! Crest was my number one grocery store until today. Recently they stopped having people bag groceries. I waited in line for 20 minutes to check out today. There were only 2 carts in line ahead of me. It then took another 10 minutes to complete the checkout process. What used to take 10 minutes total now took 30 minutes. They now have no advantage over Walmart and Walmart has more to offer than just food. read more

I feel bad for people who grew up in the OKC metro and think this a good grocery store because it's all they know, other than Walmart and Winco. Dillons, Hy-Ve, HEB, Harris Teeter, Kroger, Carrs, Publix, Ingles, you name it they are all 1000 times better than the nicest Crest Foods location you can find in OKC! OKC is big enough to have two or three major grocery chains competing against one another, but instead, you have this dirty, smelly, dated 1980s time vortex that smells like urine. Watch out for the dairy case! They do a terrible job of checking dates. I have told them three times but the don't listen. On 11/4 I found Greek yogurt with 10/16 as an expiration date on the shelf. I handed them to a clerk and said enough, but candidly she could have cared less. When I worked grocery if I had expired product in my dairy case my butt would have been blistered! Nice place to get groceries if you live in the area.. this one is a bit bigger than the one closest to the house.... Store was super clean and uncluttered. We frequent the Midwest City Crest on Douglas Blvd and we just happened to be in the neighborhood and stopped to grab something to cook for dinner. My husband gets in the truck after loading the groceries and says "That Crest location is so awesomeI think we will start driving out this way to shop for groceries." The food selections are so much better and the staff is super helpful. Plenty of parking outside, and once you get inside the store you can tell it's nicely taken care of. There was a mess in the frozen aisle (frozen peas), but it was cleaned up right away. Good selections and fair price on everything I was looking for. The fresh fruits and veggies all look good, the meat department had a good selection and not to forget the deli that has a little bit of everything you would want. I won't shop for producer at Crest anymore. 4 weeks ago I went to Sprouts and bought produce. It was delicious. Since I shop at Crest for everything else I thought I would buy my produce there. My strawberries grew mold on them the next day, my pre sliced Watermelon was slimy with a weird taste in two days. what a waste of money! I tried again on Sunday and bought pre sliced coconut and today just 1 1/2 days later it taste sour and it's slimy . The store definitely took for the worst over the last couple months. Armed "loss prevention" employees at the entrance that check your receipt like you are shopping at Walmart. Strings of all black carts now block every entrance and they have one cashier at night now so it can take anywhere from 10-30 minutes just to check out. I prefer crest because of the friendly atmosphere but that doesn't seem to be their focus anymore. read more

They don't have a great selection on anything, specifically more specialty or better quality foods! Produce is always picked over or out. Nobody knows where or if they have something. It's just a little annoying! Not a great selection on meats such as Flatiron steaks. Only have one brand of plain greek yogurt. Don't carry IBC root beer or cream soda, almond coconut milk. Not a great spice selection. Only a few brands and not complete. Celery is always horrible, so are carrots. read more

We used Crest Bakery for our wedding cake. We ordered a 3 tier square cake for 110 people. We were a little nervous about having a grocery store make our cake, but it was far beyond our expectations. We had to provide the cake ribbon and topper, but they assembled everything. We showed them the design and exactly how we wanted it. Up close it didn't look perfect, but for $165 we definitely got more than we paid for. All the other bakeries we spoke to wanted $300-500 to make it. Last month we hit our 1 year anniversary and busted out the cake from the freezer. I was afraid to try it, but believe it or not it tasted just as amazing as it did at our reception. When I moved to Oklahoma, Crest was a new grocery store to me. But now, I am in love. Carrying just about anything you could imagine, want, or need from a grocery store I will tell you my favorite parts about this store. Crest has a huge selection of fresh nuts. Being a healthie, I absolutely LOVE this. They have raw cashews and almonds for days! There is also a spot to make fresh nut butters. Almond butter, Peanut butter, even chocolate peanut butter. Next time you go, check out this section. It is in between the bakery and deli. Speaking of deli, Crest has a great deli section. My favorite are the ribs. For coming from a grocery store they are so good. The fresh fish section is legit too. Hubs and I always get the tilapia and it never dissapoints. Overall, it is a great store with some specialty areas that make it even better. Hopefully I have convinced you to try it out. I promise, I am not getting paid for this post. When I moved to a different location I was sad because I used to live so close to the Moore crest... but then I found out about the one on May and 104th. It's huge!! It's the biggest one I have seen and it has more of of a selection than the one I used to go to. They have a fresh meat and seafood area which is great since I usually make food for a 2 person serving rather than for a family of four. They also have great sales on their deli meat and it usually always include a form of turkey and ham. I really like their cheese selection. When girlfriends come over to do wine and cheese night i would always have to go to sprouts or whole foods to even see any form of a selection but knowing that crest has such great variety is great! Large, well stocked, clean, and well located in south Oklahoma City. Best "homemade" pimiento cheese I've had to date. (Find it in the delicatessen section.) Really. Tastes just like my grandmother's pimiento cheese, too, not that awful, sugar-filled that most stores stock in their refrigerated sections and market as genuine. Because the locally owned chain was started by a Lebanese family, I can call the meat department ahead of my next visit and get kibbeh meat and hashwa meat -- that's always a major plus in my book. I was checking out and left my heavy stuff on the bottom to bring around the side for the cashier to scan because I am disabled and try not to lift more than I have to. Then suddenly and VERY LOUDLY the bag lady started yelling some new term about things under the buggy. I was quite embarrassed and felt like she was accusing me of trying to steal. I've been coming to Crest ever since I discovered it's location about a year ago. I come here so often that even the workers recognize me. Before Crest, I was shopping for my groceries at Wal Mart and I wasn't satisfied most of the time. The best thing about Crest is that it is close to me and it opens 24/7 !! This really helps me when I need to make some late night grocery run. I occasionally buy sushi from them and they are pretty good. Just don't buy the sushi late afternoon or you might experience semi harden sushi rice. They have a lot of different vegetables, but not everything. In this case I would have to go elsewhere. I've only bought their chicken breasts once at the butcher deli or whatever you call it. The only reason why I bought it is because I didn't have time to thaw my chicken breasts at home. The price on the chicken breast was more expensive than the ones I got at Sam's Club. This place is definitely a good place to go to for all kinds of needs. The pricing is low in general, but there may be some products that are priced a bit higher than other places. read more

I used to like Crest. I was buying 1.25 Liter bottles of Diet Dr Pepper at 1.28 per bottle. They were out for a while and someone on the phone told me that they were not going to have them again. They had raised the price already once but I had still been buying at 30 cents more per bottle. So now I could not get them. Then I get a message that I was misinformed. They would have them. Someone checked for me. Yep they have them and the price went up AGAIN. Switching to tea and a different store. read more
