This place is hit and miss. Most of their food is outrageously over priced in comparison to just about everywhere in the area. However, the meat does go on sale which can be a great deal but beware I bought the boneless chicken breast twice and twice it was rotten. Everything else was good. Dairy is more than Safeway costs and frozen items other than a few are pretty over priced. Hard items like a cambro are at times 3 to 5 times higher than the internet so if you don't need it now order it from Amazon. Service is hit and miss but I have little expectations as it's a grocery store. read more

I come here for the great deals they have on 12-20lb cuts of meat and roasts seven I have room to cut them up and put them in the freezer. In and out. No hassle. Can't speak to anything except the meat case, which is always perfectly organized and well stocked. read more

Went to this store and used a company check at times the check machine says not authorized. The clerk always tells me the machines are old. Eventually it works. I went this past week spent about $250. Went the next day spent about $300 and thr check said not authorized. The manager said you can only write checks once a week. Buyer beware if you use a company check. Needless to say we spent $900 at Costco and another few hundred at URM. No problems they love to help us with the checks when we need to use them. read more

I've been buying meat from Smart for several years now. Strip loin has been a big favorite. The last one I bought was a ringer. I jokingly said it had to come from a rodeo steer. It was tough - so tough that the steaks were almost inedible. We decided to thaw all of those steaks and use the pressure cooker to make beef tips. The "tips" fell apart easily but the fibers were still like chewing on rope. I went in to the store to ask their policy on a bad cut of meat and the manager took me into the meat room and gave me a new strip loin. For price and quality, this store is tops. Ducks are almost impossible to find in Wenatchee, but they have them. Short ribs? Got 'em. read more

Great prices but is it really worth the confusing process of digital coupons that are advertised all over when you have to have a special app to even use them. Also I have never been here where I didn't bag my own groceries. I have never seen a bag boy and sure I could wait the extra fifteen minutes for whatever grumpy cashier I have the displeasure of conversing with to bag them for me but do I really want to extend the pin of the other fifteen people in line who are all forced to go to one of two open lines. All in all don't understand why I even came here instead of safeway or any other grocery store. read more

I honestly don't understand the negative review here. This is a store who caters to the local restaurants but also any individual who comes in. This is not a typical grocery store. They remove all your items from your cart, scan them then arrange them in your cart for you. There are no bags involved, big deal. The customer service at the wenatchee store has been excellent. They are always very friendly and helpful with anything that I might need. I do not own a restaurant but I do have a large family and many of the items here are cheaper than Costco. Only once have I had to wait in line here and it was around the holidays. When the line gets too long they always open another check stand. I shop here about twice a month. read more
