Today was the third time in the last three months I've went in and grabbed things that were supposed to be discounted deals and they were not! Even with my membership entered Mostly due to price tags not being updated when needed or things being placed in the incorrect spot, the lady up at self check pulled out her phone which does no good if shelf labels are not being updated, obviously your phone is showing the updated price. prices are supposed to be honored and they were not I ended up leaving the whole cart and left the store empty handed and upset. Fred Meyer is a Kroger store on steriods! The only Kroger stores we have in the LA/OC area are Ralph's and Food for Less. They are much more than a supermarket. A Fred Meyer has it all! They are like a Walmart or Target Supercenter but better. They have it all! You want clothing? The have it. Shoes? They have it. They have a jewelry department. Decent selection of both takeaway food (sushi made on the scene) and groceries/clothing/housewares. My mom was visiting from NV and we were in need of sustenance - after spying the sushi being made right up at the front of the store we both knew that was going to be dinner for us! Mom had to get a few other things so I went to the car with two boxes of sushi. By the time she returned the boxes were empty and I was one happy camper! Fred Meyer never disappoints! I located the entrance with the clothing right away. There's plenty of parking for Schmoopie's and my Prius. (I've been married to him for over 16+ years I must be doing something right.) I also asked for the area where the fruit rollups or fruit leather was in Produce. I was told it's on Aisle 12. It's not there. I blame corporate. I think I like the fruit rollups and fruit leather better than Applets & Cotlets... but,... it's probably just me. Maybe in the better areas of the store there are "less people who want to be offended by my Blackness..." although,... there are many people who think they can "say whatever words or phrases they want to Black Americans (or African Americans... if you prefer)". As a BIPOC cis-gendered woman... I don't like to "spend all day perousing the aisles... while contemplating why people want to stand directly next to me or in front of me blocking my path..." it's 2024.... and it's illegal. There weren't any cashiers who told me that I couldn't take my purchases to the main cashiers in Clothing... so that's where Schmoopie and myself checked out. Schmoopie told the cashier the story of when I was working at Kroger (Fred Meyer) before and the cashier thought what happened to me was "terrible..." maybe she's friendly. Most of the items on my shopping list were easy to locate... with the help of my taller Schmoopie. There weren't any items I couldn't locate at this branch of Fred Meyer... in Central Washington state from my shopping list. I will probably be back... but,... we like a different location much better... it's closer to my other vacation Resort(s). read more

Never order online from Fred Meyer. Worst system by far. You buy at a certain price and charged but than upon pick up be over charged and emailed a different receipt reflecting the actual charges. Beware!! ask for a receipt prior to leaving the parking lot. read more

Crap service! Picking up a movie in there electronics dept. Attendant with blue/purple hair was at check stand. Took me no more than 45 seconds to grab the new Star Wars movie. Went to the check stand attendant was gone and I literally waited 4 minutes (from the time I looked at my clock) before she came back as I watched 2 other employees walk by seeing me waiting there and even looking in electronics for the attendant then just continued on walking. Finally the attendant comes out and says "sorry the new girl must have gone in back". Uh, no she didn't, you were the attendant when I walked in. Nobody else was around. Own your screwup! read more

Good selection of merchandise in the store but the pharmacy refuses to allow me to use my Good Rx card when my Medicare D Rx copay is double the Good Rx price. This is not a legal practice for stores that participate in Good Rx. They try to force me into the Medicare D Rx donut hole by discriminating against me because I have an insurance. Medicare D Rx is a $$$ limited plan..once you have spent a given $$$ amount you have to pay almost full cash price. My insurance company and Medicare both approve the use of Good Rx. read more

I agree with Wyatt, Fred Myers is "awesome" what's even better is their Garden Center! It's my favorite one in town and they always have the best deals! The quality of their plants are also excellent, I tend to have more successful plantings with my Fred Meyer plants than I do with any nursery or retail chain store plants, and I frequent a lot of nurseries and retail chains during the spring and summer season and no one comes even close to the quality of these plants! Their selection of Indoor plants are also great, they are pest and disease free, and they have quite a selection of Orchids as well! My fave!! Their floral department is nice also, I could spent my entire day just in the gardening section in the store! I never am disappointed when I visit the Garden Center, well.... OK, sometimes I am with the customer service... but that is a whole different story for another time! read more

Fred Meyers was my go to grocery store for years. This last year it's been awful. It's hard to get around all the employees shopping for pick up orders. They're in the way on every isle and so devoted to their mission, they don't move. The produce is the worst. IF they have some, more often than not, it's wrinkled and old. Canned goods are hit and miss. For the last 6 months I was going to Freddie's to get my groceries, then. I have to stop at Safeway to shop for all the items Freddie's doesn't have. The deli food leaves much to be desired. The chicken is dry and over- cooked. Never ever purchase the Kroger egg mustard potato salad. There is an unpleasant after-taste. I have never had carrots in a potato salad, very gross! read more

I used to love coming to this store because it felt like the workers really connected with the customers. That was my favorite part. All cash registers were opened and all workers were helping customers out. I don't like this new way of only have two cash registers open. It is pointless. I visited the East Wenatchee Fred Meyer yesterday April 7th and there was no sign of the new "QueVision" technology in place to limit the number of shoppers in the store. There was no one at the entrance monitoring customers entering. The store was crowded because of the first Tuesday of the month senior discount, and all the more reason to monitor the crowd. I could not walk down any isle and maintain the 6 foot rule. The aisles are suppose to have directional arrows but were not yet marked. It seems as though things are moving in the right direction regarding crowd control, but the irresponsible effort to put something in place, at least manually, yesterday reflects poorly on management to respond quickly and efficiently for everyone's health. read more

The only reason we gave FM one star is that zero isn't an option. We have been shopping at this location for 8 years or so since moving to the valley. We don't shop here for the prices or the selection, those can be matched (and occasionally beaten) at other stores in the valley. We shop here because of customer service. You could always expect that another checkout stand would be opened if the lines had more than 2 or 3 people waiting. NOT anymore. This is not the FM we came to love when moving here. The push toward self-checkout has reduced the number of available cashiers to 2, or at most 3. Having overheard several conversations of cashiers talking of reduced hours and part-time work and speaking to managers on several different occasions, we have decided to take our money elsewhere. We'll buy our gas at Costco, we'll spend our grocery budget anywhere else. We encourage you to do the same. This was not an easy decision to make, we loved shopping here and seeing familiar faces who always greeted us with a smile. It's heartbreaking to think that customer service died at the cost of corporate greed and hope that you will join us in making them understand in the only way we, as consumers can, by taking our money elsewhere. read more

Our East Wenatchee Fred Meyer is what I would call a mini Fred Meyer. It is small for a Fred Meyer but well stocked for the size. The Prices are competitive with a good verity. There in health department and a bulk foods section. They carry organically grown produce. Although I do wish the produce department as a whole was bigger. There is a garden department and a Starbucks coffee. The deli department is good also. Along with a gas station. Although small it is a great store. read more

It's my favorite one stop shopping store. Love their produce, sushi and selection in all departments. I do not like jockeying for space with the day stockers but as one pointed out, they have night stockers and if they didn't replenish during the day, the shelves would be empty. I have heard there are plans to remodel the East Wenatchee store's front-end and I am looking forward to it as their card machines are very temperamental. They usually have someone managing the front-end so the checkout process is smooth. Good job FM! read more

I really like the bulk food section here. Also, this is probably my first choice grocer when it comes to getting produce. For awhile, they carried shrimp with heads which was terrific, but I have not seen that for awhile. The gardening section is great and the hardware section convenient. Once in awhile, you can get a good buy in the electronics section too. I haven't shopped for clothing there yet, but did buy a purse. It was nice that I did not have to make a trip to another store while out grocery shopping. Overall, a good all around shop. read more

In organic produce section, after I spent a lot of time looking for the apples la bled on the signs...organic .locally grown red delicious and galas, and couldn't find any, I summoned the clerk. I said, "I am sorry all I see here is a jumbled up pile of varieties, and I see none of the locally grown fruit, only the imports from Argentina and New Zea land, can you help me? I like to support local farmers, and I find these three signs very misleading; making it difficult to shop local organic." To which the smarty replied..."WELL, I CAN CHANGE THE SIGNS, BUT I CAN'T CHANGE WHERE THE FRUIT WAS GROWN" Wow...you think????? such disrespect, for an honest ask..shocking, though I suppose it shouldn't be in this day and age. read more
