They came to clean our vents and to inspect our a/c system for the $99 special on May 1st. They found mold (which was not surprising) and we hired them to get rid of it. The service was completed a little after 6:00 pm. All seemed fine until our pot rack came crashing down from the ceiling at 2:00 in the morning, 8 hours after they left. The condensate pipe had been intentionally or unintentionally separated during the cleaning process but it was not reconnected. This oversight caused all of the condensation to collect in the pan and overflow which then leaked to the kitchen ceiling causing the Sheetrock to fail and the pot rack to collapse on the granite countertop. They told me to call them any time, "if i had any issues", so I sent a text with video of what had occurred. It was read at 10:50 am on May 2nd. Having not heard back from him, I called his number. It went to voicemail with no option to leave a message. As of May 3rd, there has been zero response, which does not, in any way equate to an "A+"customer service rating. Ironically, we now need to pay another company to ensure that the water damage to the sheetrock is dry so that we do not end up with another mold situation. They state that there is a 4 year warranty on their services yet they are unreachable a mere 15 hours after they take your money. Fortunately we have all documentation for next steps. Please be sure to ask for copies of their license and insurance before hiring them.

He did not clean the vents. All he did was brush off the outside of the vent. He didnt clean the dryer vent. He didnt even throw away the filter he took out. He left dust all over my house and didnt even put one of the vent closures back up. He was here literally 39 min and 20 of that he spent fighting with me. He upset me so bad that i asked him to leave my house. So as he was packing up he insisted i pay him. I looked at him and said for what? So guess what he did.... he called the police. When the police came in i showed them the email he sent me and she looked around and said it was obvious he did none of the things he said was included. So then he started yelling at the police The police were so worried he would come back that they sat outside my house for roughly an hour..... Then a month later water started coming through the ceiling in my family room. The chimney cap they replaced was leaking. I called Alex and explained the situation. He promised to have a technician out to take a look. The appointment time came and went. It was a no-show. No call no email no text, just a no show. I called Alex and he said the technician couldn't come because it was raining. Well if it was raining and the chimney is leaking and water is coming into the home that's the time you need to go out. (So much for 24/7 emergency service) So he made another appointment and it happened to be the day I was leaving town. I was concerned that even if they came out they may not have a fix so I called Alex and asked him to please have the technician show up with a tarp and cover the chimney so if it takes time to get a part the chimney will not be leaking. Well of course once again; it was a no-show. So in the middle of the rain as I'm trying to get to the airport I go out on my roof, something I hate to do, and tarp the chimney with plastic garbage bags and bungee cords. When I get back the following week I called Alex. Once again, it was raining so his tech couldn't show up. Alex promised that he himself would come out and see what the problem was. He showed up and yes he was very personable. He went up on the roof and an hour later came down and said problem solved and he would even replace the wet insulation in the attic so there would be no mold or mildew problem down the road, which he did not do that day. A couple weeks go by and there does not seem to be any more leaking. Then after that hurricane near miss, (for us a total non-event) I decided to go on the roof and make sure everything was still in place. What I saw appalled me. Alex's fix for the problem was taking some material, I still don't know what it was, and covered a good 20% of the chimney crown with it, what I can only describe as some sort of plaster. With only weeks since he did the repair, it was already starting to fall apart. The material was flaking and cracking, shrinking and gaps were already starting to appear. The obvious problem is that the crown was not fabricated correctly to the right measurements for the right tolerances And Alex's 'fix' for this problem was the fill these huge gaps with an inappropriate sealant. That was a few weeks ago. I cannot get Alex to return a phone call or an email or a text. I tried calling all day long and my calls would go straight to voicemail. So I tested my theory that I was being blocked. I called three times quickly in a row and all calls went straight to voicemail. I took my spouse's phone and called the number and Alex answered on the first ring. He gave me a song and dance about "I'll get right back to you after I talk to the crew that installed it in the first place." But nothing but crickets. So I am out $1800 for the repair, I have water damage on the ceiling in my family room to the point that the drywall in spots is going to have to be replaced. I have insulation that's been exposed to water (in South Florida that is an invitation for mold and mildew.) and i'm going to have to find another company to repair the repair to my chimney crown, so I'll be out another $2000 for that repair. And Alex is AWOL. If you hire this company, you've been warned.

Option 2. $65 per vent x 10 vents = $650 to attach the vacuum to the air handler and open each vent, brush and use whips to agitate and loosen any dirt and debris so the vacuum can suck it out. This company came out to repair our roof. On its face the work appeared to be well done. Repair was…read morenot cheap. Job cost was around $2000. Two years later leaking began in the exact same area of the roof. We were reliving the nightmare. When we called Quillen they wanted to charge another $2000 to fix the leak in the very same spot. They acknowledged that the leak was in the exact same place but offered no apologies or reasonable remedy. They never took responsibility for fact that problem was not fixed correctly. They scoffed at the idea that they should offer at least a discount to fix the roof again. It was their shoddy work and they did not even feel bad about doing this to us. If they had been honest, we likely would have re-roofed the whole house. Poor workmanship and not caring about your customers is a BAD combination. If someone would compromise their integrity for such a small amount of money, imagine what they would do for larger projects and larger sums of money. We are now ready for a new roof. Guess who we WILL NOT be calling for an estimate?
