Amy is so amazing at what she does, takes into accountability of what will look good on you while also keeping you happy with the design! The techs who do pedicures are great at what they do and take the time to make you feel relaxed. Talisha is an amazing part of the team - she keeps the salon running smoothly and every appointment running on time. Shes is always very helpful with choosing designs/colors/etc! It's not hygienic at all I saw them do a dip powder manicure on someone, and the excess powder that fell from her nails was scooped up with a napkin and reused. My mom and i went in for a mani pedi together. 2 days later, my mom's big toenail was infected. She went in and was told the manager would get a hold of her. They didn't respond so she called in and was again, told the manager would call her. It's been over a week now, and they have refused to acknowledge that they gave her an infected toenail. All she wants is a refund and they are just ignoring her. I've been going here for many years. And have never had problems but will not go again after this. I got a pedicure $25 with regular polish no gel and a dip powder with extensions $50. The pedicure was eh. My sisters manicurist was going to town on hers so she really got a scrub down. Mine was quite gentle and didn't really feel like a decent pedicure. Regardless, the polish looks great and professional. I noticed they used to the same carts on everyone. The supplies on the carts are not individually wrapped especially the thing that looks like a grater. They had individual purple scrubbers though. I think for sanitary reasons I would tell them next time I just don't want the grater thing to be used on me. My dip powder was interesting. It looked really funky at first and I was like why did I come here. I trusted the process and let me tell you, WOW. They're gorgeous!!! So my experiences here have varied a lot by the person I get. This last time I got dip and chrome that needed to be fixed and the fix was not good. The last time Kevin made me cry (I was pregnant but still...) because I pointed out the color didn't match the sample after he asked me if I liked it. He then got mad at me and I had to switch to someone else. Yesterday I had gotten my nails done someplace else, I'm not kidding you when I say they looked all kinds of crazy. It was as if my niece pained them or I attempt to do my own acrylics. The shape of my nails were going in different directions and the pain job was awful. (I'll spare you the before photo) I called today to see if they had an opening for a reshape and Shellac repaint. Vincent was my nail technician, he took his time on every nail, checking in with me to make sure I was happy. I appreciate his attention to detail and I am super grateful that he had an opening! This particular salon happened to pop up from Yelp as a Black owned business. So I decided to support. Although I'm pretty satisfied with the service I received yesterday, it is not a black owned business. I'm not certain if the nail salon did this in an effort to drum up business from the black community or if Yelp just got it wrong. But IF, the nail salon is falsifying their business to solicit AA customers, this is totally wrong of them. If it is Yelp's error, they need to remove the tag immediately.
