I usually park at the airport, but saw the eight dollar coupon for us park and decided to give it a try. First, the lot was about to be repaved and it was confusing to completely understand, that we were to go way in the back to park. The facility needs more lighting, which hopefully will be added after the facelift resurfacing. The shuttle was there, as soon as I exited the car, which was fantastic and I was dropped off at my airlines! Great door to door service. When returning, I didn't wait more than a couple of minutes for the shuttle. The driver was a little slow driving in the lot, but she took me right to my car. No Walking and she waited for me to be safely inside and the car started! Again, could use more lighting, but didn't feel unsafe at any moment. Will definitely use this lot again. I think it is easier than parking at the airport and definitely cheaper! read more

Saddens me to write this, but waiting for 25 minutes to pay and leave the lot is totally unacceptable. They seem to have implemented a reservation system that requires people to hand the cashier their phones. Also, every transaction required paperwork time between cars. Special thanks to the driver who named Catherine (not sure if I put it right ). I missed three vans and waited for almost 10 minutes after I parked my car. My flight was in 30 min so I had to stop one of the empty van passing me, and Catherine agreed to take me as the only passenger to the Airport. This was my first time having to use an off-site parking facility so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was in town for business with a quick turn-around and a flight leaving at 5am. Since the car rental business wasn't open that early, I was instructed to drop my rental off here. As soon as I pulled up, before I could read any of the signs on the side of the booth, the woman in the both asked, "Airline?" and instructed me to park in front of a shuttle that was already down one of the isles, waiting. I pulled into a parking space, unloaded my luggage and loaded me own luggage on the shuttle. The driver of the shuttle asked me for series of paperwork that I should've been given at the front gate but wasn't. After standing there silent as she and the woman at the front gate yelled at each other over their hand held radios, the shuttle finally left but not before the shuttle driver snatched my rental keys out of my hands. We arrived at DTW after about a 5 minute drive and I was so ready to exit that shuttle. All passengers had to unload their own luggage without the driver even offering to help. I get it, its 3 in the morning but at least pretend you want to be at work especially when you're in the business of customer service. Oh well. read more

I have been using us park for about a year. It was ok when i started parking there but it has done nothing but go down hill. You sit on the shuttle most of the time for over 20 min before leaving lot. They send you to a aisle with no shuttle and forget to send one, had to call more than once. My most recent trip was my first time using US Park and I'll definitely go back to them when I need to park at DTW. Clean, friendly and fast service -- and it was so nice that they came right to my car for pick up/drop off. There were back-to-back shuttles waiting at the airport for pickups and I waited less than 1 minute to get picked up from my car on the way there. I also happened to have car troubles as I was leaving the lot and all of the ladies were so sweet and helpful. They picked me up to wait for my tow truck and ride, offered me coffee and a comfy place to sit too. It made a very stressful situation so much better! Their wonderful customer service is definitely worth parking off-airport and its cost effective (I was able to show her the coupon on my phone for the discount)! read more

I was disappointed to find out that the drivers do not help you with your luggage. I am used to the rental car bus drivers, who are very friendly and help me with my bag. Both of my US Park drivers were a bit grumpy. I thought the tip box was a bit presumptuous. Tips are for service above and beyond, IMO. I have been using this offsite airport parking since late 1980s, ever since my U Michigan professor buddy introduced me to it (run by women entirely) but in my humble opinion deserves every star rating. They are very helpful, pick you up and drop you off, and also have a coupon, are cheaper than the main airport parking, huge lot, very organized. I have used US Park many times. On my last visit July 3-6, I arrived back to my car to find plastic sheeting covering my back window. Initially I thought that someone had broken into my car, but upon close inspection, I realized that I had left the window halfway open when I left it, and the manager of the lot had covered it so my car wouldn't be soaked from rain when I returned!! Last week I had t wait almost 10 minutes for someone to pick me up, they send me to a row that was full , I went to the next row and the drivers drove right by me, because they we not instructed to pick us up. we had to call them( good thing I had my phone) then they right done the wrong row on the ticket. They drop me off three rows away, I had to walk to my car. This place acts like they are doing you a favor. Avoid if possible. read more

Do not park here if you want to get to the airport in any reasonable time. They left a couple other guys an me standing in the cold wind waiting for a shuttle for about 35 minutes. Literally the worst customer care I have ever experienced. The drivers are nice but the people working the phones are horrible. We waited fore 20 minutes before only one shuttle that could fit 25 people showed up for 150 people. After multiple people called to ask for more shuttles the lady yelled at the customers and hung up. OK, so I admit that this was my first offsite parking experience at DTW. The most that I ventured out was to the Green lot. I was going to park my car at the Blue lot since I hated the idea of an extra step to getting my car, but I have to say that I changed my mind. For those newbies who don't know what to expect, you pull up and the attendant tells you where to go. Then, you park and a van will come pick you up at your car. They give you a ticket that has your parking spot on it for you to give to your return driver to locate your car. When you come back, you go to the same spot that you were dropped off and they will take you back. It is actually a lot easier than parking in the Blue lot. I didn't have to walk around to find my car. I didn't even have to wait at all. I was impressed. Despite of the one star reviews, I say to give it a try. I only been here once but both drivers were professional and pleasant. One driver even drove me back to my car before my departure flight because I left my phone in the car amid the rush. PS. make an online reservation to save $1 a day (it will be $10/day), You can go in person, but it will be $11/day. For AAA members, don't make an online reservation. To get the discount, show your AAA id on the way out and it will cost $9/day. I am a convert. read more

After a long business trip, all you want to do is go home and see your family. US park has over packed themselves during spring break and has cars in the aisles to pack the lot. After I was dropped at my car on a rainy night, I discovered there is a car parked too close behind me and I can't back out. The driver that dropped me should have noticed this as she dropped me off. US Park is reliable, and I love getting picked up and dropped off at my car, as opposed to walking forever through the airport parking garage. Here's what to do: 1. Go to their website (http://www.us-park.com) and print out the coupon. 2. Pull up to the booth, grab the ticket, and tell them your airline. They'll tell you the lane to park in. 3. Park, and then the shuttle will pull up to your car. It might pick up some other folks nearby too. 4. Tell the driver your airline, and take the pink sheet containing your car's location. 5. Ride the shuttle to your terminal and tip your driver. 6. When you get back from your trip, go back to the same spot at the airport. Soon enough, a shuttle will arrive (if it isn't already there). Give them the pink sheet. 7. Ride the shuttle back to the lot. 8. Get dropped off at your car and tip your driver. Load your luggage and then start your car. The driver always makes sure that your car will start before driving off. 9. Drive up to the booth and give them your ticket and coupon. The cashiers are always so friendly and nice. I Have used US Park for at least 15 years. Their service has taken a steep decline over the past year and I have cut them some slack due to the pandemic. Yesterday is the LAST time that I will ever use them. It took me two hours to get a shuttle to my car last night. There were literally hundreds of people waiting for the US Park shuttle at the Delta terminal. They had two rotating shuttles while every other parking company had four -five shuttles in a constant flow. I along with many others tried to call US Park. They claimed that they had 6 or 7 shuttles operating and that traffic was bad around the airport. It was a complete lie. People around me were calling Uber to get to theirs cars. Luckily I made friends and we all agreed to have one driver from each group hop on a bus and then go back to get the rest of our passengers. It's unacceptable. And to add salt to the wound, I printed a coupon for $11 parking on 4/6/22. When I went to pay, I was told that they raised the prices and that my coupon was no longer valid. The clerk said that the prices changed 04/01/22 but that the website hadn't been updated yet. read more

I would walk to the airport before I would ever leave me car at US Park again. While on vacation, US Park decided to clear a section of their lot by hiring a towing contractor to move vehicles. Why they thought it was OK to hook my truck to a tow truck is beyond me. The move caused approximately $2000 worth of damage. Amount verified by three dealership quotes. Upon my return they were very apologetic and seemed determined to make things right. However, when I offered up the estimates it immediately turned to weak denial and then 'negotiations'. They refused to pay for the dealer repairs and the 'final offer' I got had something to do with a tow truck driver doing body work on my $50,000 truck. Now I'm just smart enough to know that when I am in a hole, I need to stop digging. I will be repairing the truck out of pocket and my only consolation is this yelp review. There are plenty of airport parking services near DTW. Do yourself a favor and use one not owned by US Park. Remember - what ever rebuttal they might make (if any) - they did $2000 damage to my truck and I had to pay for it. read more

I called before I made the reservation and the attendant told me to reserve and they will take care of the discount at the lot. Well today the attendant said that wasn't possible.
