I guess I have to review this post office cause I've been sending packages to my grandkids in Bakersfield and it's always broken and ripped, the last package they broke my kids globes I bought for them and Iam soon pissed. This U.S. Post Office location is where you go to pick up the mail that you have put on Vacation Hold. No retail services provided at this branch. The office is very small. During Covid times, they only allowed 2 folks inside. Everyone else has to wait outside. Last time I was here, I waited almost 40 minutes. Fortunately, I had nothing else to do so I caught up on my e-mail and other correspondence. There was only one staff member assisting, but the guy was professional and courteous. Their delivery drivers consistently fail to deliver my packages saying my place is "closed" and I have to drive over to this godforsaken office. They basically put that in when the drivers don't feel like finishing their routes. This facility is the worst. read more

Now when it come to USPS it is hard to find friendly folks that wait on you. But every time I come in here these gals are so so nice! I usually come in on Saturday to drop off my priority mail packages because I usually forget to schedule a home pickup and they are open until 2pm and everyone else in town is open until 1pm. And they are always happy to take your packages greet you with a smile and tell you to have a nice day!! You don't even get that at the regular post office when you go in there. So if you don't know about this little hidden gem just off of snow road and golden state road you might just need to check it out. read more

I had a package not delivered because I forgot to put an apartment number so I call immediately after I missed them which is an hour or two the lady says they will open an investigation and not send it back out the next day I get an email saying returned to the sender after a 40 minute phone call for nothing, so I call them the next day 30 minutes after they open I do the whole online ordeal then ask to speak to a representative just to reinstate I would be more then happy to come pick it up or have it redelivered they don't answer the phone. Crappy service and what is going on? Do they not communicate I put the request in the day of hours after missed delivery then 2 hours after the call to send back to sender? Whoever is sorting and delivering our mail is absolutely incompetent. We have lived at our address for 6 months now and have had TONS of packages and mail delivered to the wrong address. It's being delivered to the same house that has the same NUMBERS as us, but a totally different street name. It's frustrating!!! Luckily the girl who keeps getting our stuff delivers it to us. However she only checks her mail a couple times a week. I just had some vitamins "delivered" in a parcel locker (We didn't get the key, so I'm sure the same girl did) in 100+ degree weather - who knows how long they are going to sit in the parcel locker and melt together and degrade before we receive them. Worst location ever! They only answer 1% of their calls and promptly hang up. You often hear them laughing as they do so b/c apparently this is a game to them. They don't notify you when they hold your mail after your community cluster boxes are allegedly vandalized. They also lie and say your mail was delivered to the correct address when it clearly isn't. Had several packages due today that weren't delivered and online it states they weren't able to do so. There is nothing wrong with the cluster boxes and they could have also delivered to my house. I had specific instructions about delivering my mail since I live in a gated area. They said they were unable to and lost my mail. I have had good luck with the delivery lady for my apartments (Meadow's) and she's willing to work with me so I get my medication on time. Going in the post office there's always a line no fault of the post office. All the windows had a person helping people and you can tell there doing there best to hurry the check out process while staying friendly. My only complaint is no one ever answers the phone. I have to call the corporate office (1-800 #) and leave a message for someone to call me which takes a day or 2. Frustrating! However, overall happy I know there under staffed and doing there best. I went to this "Post" Office to mail an envelope they don't mail anything here. Stood in line for a while, noticed the "if it fits, it ships" boxes on the wall and figured that of course they mail stuff here, it's the post office and they have these boxes on the wall.
