I've heard of copying and faxing, but faxing was very expensive. You could get it done cheaper at Mahopac library And as well as copies but when you're in a pinch, if you're here, get it done! They do weigh your packages, whether pre-printed or not before shipping it out and that's a security measure for you and the person receiving it !! They also sell boxes, envelopes, shipping materials & for a fee, package and ship out everything and anything !!I say everything because I seen longgg skis prepped & wrapped for shipping ! Now if that's not everything, I don't know what is! :) They have taken USPS packages for shipping. I don't know if that's just a courtesy or if you will actually receive a receipt!? There's a Parking lot & for fast drop off there's front door parking, but b careful because this is such a busy street.

Nobody wants to work here, and that was an explanation by one of the former Postmasters for why things are so messed up. 18 - EIGHTEEN TIMES now this post office has delivered packages addressed to me elsewhere! Sometimes I finally receive the package, sometimes I don't. Often times the package has been opened and resealed. Other times it's been opened and left at my door unsealed. There's ZERO accountability. They blame it on the Sender addressing the package incorrectly. They blame it on the Sender's post office "hitting a wrong key" when processing it on their end for shipping. They blame it on their computer system. They blame it on the rain. I've asked REPEATEDLY if ANYONE actually looks at the name and address on the packages? And I'm usually told "We don't do that. We just scan the code and that tells us where it's going." Some packages have come as far away as the UK, Japan and Australia. They make it all that way to my post office and then they're sent to the wrong address?!!!! ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC!!! They quoted me $92, not because it was heavy but because of the size of the box. Needless to say I opted to try something else. I called The Mailbox store and spoke to a guy who explained that the charge is based not only the weight but the size of the box. He said they have multiple boxes for sale and if I came in, we could try and find a cheaper solution. I stopped in on the way home and after a couple of different "fittings" we found the smallest box that would fit the coat. Total cost including the box $47. This store is under new ownership and I highly recommend them for any shipping needs plus whatever other services they provide.

There sales where the prices of my software and little Canon Selphy printer were competitive with NewEgg*. The custom printing department was also a tremendous help when selecting card stock and helping to field such a one-off request. I couldn't even find a hobby/gaming shop in the city to help me, but these guys did. And when I couldn't find ink cartridges for my Selphy? A sales associate gladly led me to CMYK to my heart's content*. When I was an idiot and bought clear contact paper instead of white? The clerks, JoAnne, Val, Karen, Leah were phenomenal! It was a place that valued customers, they called you by your first name. Lines were long because EVERYONE WENT THERE. However, wait time was minimal. Your correspondence/package always arrived to its destination in record time. Val, was the last person left of that awesome crew. She recently retired. There's a new Postmaster , we wished him well. There's a new employee also, wished her well. We were there to mail a greeting card with a check inside. I had placed a regular stamp and wanted to make sure it had enough postage. The woman said it did. That was on the beginning of March, 2025. It's July 16,2025 and that greeting card has still not been received by the intended recipient! It WAS NOT AN INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY. Because I did not conduct a credit card transaction, unfortunately I don't have a receipt,however I did do another paid transaction conducted on that date.
