He is not friendly or helpful and seems to want to send people to other locations or elsewhere after they waited on a very long line for help. I just processed a return here and he told me that I wouldn't be able to find out any information about my return because I didn't "print" out my label. Right on the bottom of the receipt he printed out it states to text the tracking number to 28777 to get the latest status. For some reason he just didn't want to help me. He needs more training or perhaps you need younger staff who are familiar with digital processing and realize that not everything requires being printed out. What a rude and incompetent man.

Went…read moreto mail a couple of mother's day gifts and one of my packages needed a little extra tape to secure the bottom. I kindly asked the miserable employee with a puss on his face if he could put some tape on the bottom of my package to secure it and he replied "we are a no tape office " .....ummm what the f$@k??? He proceeds to tell me I can purchase packaging tape but he just sold the last one . Again WTF??!!!! He then rolls his eyes at me walks away and comes back with a big roll of packaging tape and secures my package. Now was that so hard? Why he had to make a production out of it was beyond me. I have been going to this Post Office for years and have come in contact with some nice and not so nice employees but he was the worst. Also, I have NEVER had an issue with a simple little thing called TAPE at a post office. And whatever happened to "how can I help you" when greeting a customer and when you are done with your transaction how about "have a nice day" . Apparently those words don't exist in miserable employee #20 vocabulary. I will not return to this Post Office again . Why go somewhere when you KNOW you are going to get treated like crap. It's a shame because the building itself it quite charming and one of the older Post Office buildings that you really don't see around here anymore.

From my mailbox in 1 city to another city with a post office box. I mailed this holiday card on…read more12/18/24 & received it back on 2/28/25!!! Opened of course, with a lane stamp that it was received in poor condition. My post office didn't open it because they attempted delivery. When it got to Patchogue, obviously they knew they had to stamp it as damaged & return it when they attempted to search for the non-existent greenbacks. Ridiculous!!

I've even submitted extensive searches and inquires to these items and nothing came of it. How does this happen in modern times, especially when there is tracking?? What is even the point of tracking really then, so essentially I was robbed. These were expensive item too and basically i was told (nicely) tough and there's is nothing you can do about it. I would give them zero stars if I could, but I guess I will leave it for the people that work behind the counter that are always nice and professional. Will never use them again to ship anything!
