I turned to the woman behind me and said "my phone is in my car, I'll be right back". I left my cart with 3 pkgs. in it in line. When I came back a minute later I realized she jumped ahead of me so with a puzzled look I asked her "Did you jump the line ahead of me"? Her response was "you left"!?!?! Seriously? As she was going back to her spot behind me an obnoxious fat lady in front of me thought she'd be a smart ass & told the woman she could get in front of her, and so the woman moved to the front of the line now. Mind you, I'm a senior citizen with chronic back pain, I use a cane and a walker and I just had both my hips replaced. I explained this to the woman and it meant nothing to her. So I asked to speak to a manager to explain what just happened. The young "acting manager" listened for half a second before the fat lady jumped in and in a combative tone said "She left the line". When I went on to explain that I didn't leave the line, I went to my car to get my phone & left my cart in line, the manager threatened to "throw us both out"! Her exact words! Why me? Where am I in the wrong here?? So she just let her jump the line while I had to stand there in pain longer than necessary. I thought this was extremely unprofessional and she did not address the issue. She should have kicked them both out! To her credit, she did offer to take me at another register. Today while I was back in the store I decided to speak to the main manager to let her know how this was handled. As I was speaking with her, I could see that every word I said went in one ear and out the other. She just had a blank stare. She made excuses for her acting manager, no matter what I said. She said she was probably busy and had a long line and I told her there was no line in her section but she continued to make excuses Instead of saying, "I'm sorry that you were treated that way and that our manager didn't do anything about it, please accept my apologies on behalf of Staples". Instead she went on to tell me that the other two ladies called her to let her know that the "acting Mng." didn't do anything wrong (in the event I called.) She also said that the "fat lady" told her I "hit the back of her legs" with my cart, which is a complete lie. She probably hit her own fat ass on my cart while backing up to let the other lady in ahead of her and blamed me!!! The "acting manager" as well flat out lied to her superior by saying she told us "if we don't stop she wouldn't wait on us". Uhhh NO, she yelled and I quote "I'll throw you both out"! Due to principal alone, I was compelled to contact the District Manager after that conversation, and he couldn't have been any nicer or more understanding. I'll continue to go to that Staples because it's the only one within 60 miles and because the DM was sincere, understanding, apologetic and said he'd address it. Thanks to the DM, Donnell, I'll continue to be a custome.

Has a standard selection for Goodwill that includes clothing, furniture, media, and housewares. The biggest issue with this store is selection here has always been lighter than other local Goodwill's. They just don't seem to get the depth in stock most others I've visited get. Employees have been useful during most of my visits. This locations strongest feature is the ease of donating. They seem to take most items but technology. The donation door is at the side of the entrance closest to the driveway, with the rules being clearly noted on a very visible sign. You do need to inform an employee you are here to donate. I've never had them reject anything I've donated. Overall, shopping here is ok, but donating here is easy and painless.

They freely (yes, it's free) take in glass, some plastics, cardboard, newspaper, office paper, old books of variable edition and there's a drop off for old clothes and its all organized based upon the number in the little recycling symbol on whatever container you're bringing to the center to recycle. While the center is minimally staffed, It's up to you to to do your own sorting as this is very important for the primary purpose. Anyone that has ever wanted to recycle knows how labeling can become confusing. The labeling on all of the bins in the arena you walk into are clearly marked by a numerical in the recycling symbol from 1-7. It's up to you to do your own sorting and read them. It's not difficult, but if this can be for you, perhaps go with someone who can help you. There are always people coming and going here to drop off items at all hours given the weekday. It's nice to see everyone working together and time and time again, the only inconvenience is how much waste I could have been curtailing down on sooner.

Got a really great pair of leggings, black stretchy pants with PoCkETs, a lovely dressy Dana Buchman knit scalloped top that I could not resist I don't care if it's hand wash and block dry and a cool pullover top. I lightly cruised the home goods and found an awesome little carved horse that I have on my desk. The staff at checkout were super nice and friendly, I unwittingly had a few sale 1/2 price items bonus and I walked out with cool stuff for $11. This store is OG thrift, roots thrift, classic thrift and I love it for that. They're about filling a need in our community, not maximizing profit that goes to "programs". I'm down with that. Debugging is arduous and lengthy because of outdated or sub-optimal third-party tools as well as the codebase and poorly designed infrastructure the company still chooses to support and make the customer believe it's in their best interest to maintain, when in fact the customer is getting short-changed. Agile project methodology I've seen produces quick fixes or enhancements (social sharing) that are not implemented according to best practices and difficult to debug, fix , or enhance. Development team members don't willing or readily share their knowledge or experience with the codebase leading to others having a much more difficult time making a simple fix. Showcase sessions with the customer only discuss fixes due to a widget or button or link not working that took much longer to fix that it should've due to poor communication and higher priority on micro-managing people and their minute-by-minute pedantic practices rather than focusing on producing a quality durable and scalable product. Fortunately for them the customer has been tolerant and obliging. But the customer is being short-changed.
