Has a standard selection for Goodwill that includes clothing, furniture, media, and housewares. The biggest issue with this store is selection here has always been lighter than other local Goodwill's. They just don't seem to get the depth in stock most others I've visited get. Employees have been useful during most of my visits. This locations strongest feature is the ease of donating. They seem to take most items but technology. The donation door is at the side of the entrance closest to the driveway, with the rules being clearly noted on a very visible sign. You do need to inform an employee you are here to donate. I've never had them reject anything I've donated. Overall, shopping here is ok, but donating here is easy and painless.

The hours are consistent too which is especially helpful since the pandemic. They freely (yes, it's free) take in glass, some plastics, cardboard, newspaper, office paper, old books of variable edition and there's a drop off for old clothes and its all organized based upon the number in the little recycling symbol on whatever container you're bringing to the center to recycle. While the center is minimally staffed, It's up to you to to do your own sorting as this is very important for the primary purpose. Anyone that has ever wanted to recycle knows how labeling can become confusing. The labeling on all of the bins in the arena you walk into are clearly marked by a numerical in the recycling symbol from 1-7. It's up to you to do your own sorting and read them. It's not difficult, but if this can be for you, perhaps go with someone who can help you. There are always people coming and going here to drop off items at all hours given the weekday. It's nice to see everyone working together and time and time again, the only inconvenience is how much waste I could have been curtailing down on sooner.

However, despite being a loyal customer, I have been treated with disrespect and hostility by staff. Issues I've encountered: Items being resold unfairly. Being labeled a "nuisance". Staff smiling in your face, then turning rude, irate, and dismissive. Being told, "If you don't like it, you can leave." No paying customer--let alone one who has supported this store significantly--should be treated this way. If this is how they operate, they should reconsider their approach to customer service.

There isn't a Salvation Army Thrift near me so this was the very first store I've been to from this organization. Parking was street, meters, not challenging though to find a spot in front. The store looks like a charity thrift store, which is really promising. Stores that look like boutiques or retail locations also generally have pricing to reflect the 'upscale' impression. Not totally unusual in those stores to see clothing priced above what it was when it was new. Right. This was well organized, rows and rows of clothing, signage on each row with category. There were also decor and home goods and such. My quest though was to find clothes. Jackpot! Got a really great pair of leggings, black stretchy pants with PoCkETs, a lovely dressy Dana Buchman knit scalloped top that I could not resist I don't care if it's hand wash and block dry and a cool pullover top. I lightly cruised the home goods and found an awesome little carved horse that I have on my desk. The staff at checkout were super nice and friendly, I unwittingly had a few sale 1/2 price items bonus and I walked out with cool stuff for $11. This store is OG thrift, roots thrift, classic thrift and I love it for that. They're about filling a need in our community, not maximizing profit that goes to "programs". I'm down with that. I'd visit again when in the area and would choose to go to another of these stores when I come across. *Note: The Air B &.B we stayed at had a washer and dryer, which was used before wearing anything. Always wash your purchase. One of my friends also got some scores in clothing at the store, pants for her work that she needed for like $1 each. She was thrilled. On "Informed Delivery" they're giving the customer all the bells and whistles - nice to haves (eg: social media links) but built on top of an archaic, ill-designed architecture that is virtually impossible to engineer, enhance, scale, or debug. Debugging is arduous and lengthy because of outdated or sub-optimal third-party tools as well as the codebase and poorly designed infrastructure the company still chooses to support and make the customer believe it's in their best interest to maintain, when in fact the customer is getting short-changed. Agile project methodology I've seen produces quick fixes or enhancements (social sharing) that are not implemented according to best practices and difficult to debug, fix , or enhance. Development team members don't willing or readily share their knowledge or experience with the codebase leading to others having a much more difficult time making a simple fix. Showcase sessions with the customer only discuss fixes due to a widget or button or link not working that took much longer to fix that it should've due to poor communication and higher priority on micro-managing people and their minute-by-minute pedantic practices rather than focusing on producing a quality durable and scalable product. Fortunately for them the customer has been tolerant and obliging. But the customer is being short-changed.
