This is a crap location!!! No one ever answers the phone. They deliver my packages to the wrong address constantly and the supervisors are rude and uneducated ! Ignorant and lazy suits the staff there. I'd have better luck sending mail via pigeon! Once again NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE. AS A PERSON WITH A PHYSICAL DISABILITY, IT'S DIFFICULT TO JUMP IN MY CAR AND DRIVE TO THE POST OFFICE TO CHECK THE STATUS OF MISSING Packages, undelivered packages even though they mark it delivered. They deliver them to my neighbors. I live in a tiny culdesac... Literally 6 mailboxes and they still can't figure it out! They have a new manager about every 3 months and the staff absolutely does not want to help people. They label printer wasnt working for customer use therefore I asked if they could scan the QR code and print it for me... The lady legitimately refused to print it even when I offered to pay for the cost of the label. Nope! I take all packages to the UPS store and have them weigh said package print label, etc... On Tuesday i sent a package to my sister in Spokane from here (Boise) early afternoons. It was supposed to arrive Thursday. Thursday night she calls telling me it hasn't. That's when i saw it not only had just arrived in Spokane, but didn't leave Boise until Wednesday after midnight. It stayed almost two days before anything happened even tho i payed for priority shipping. I called usps. The first pos I spoke with called me after I hung up and cussed me out the second told me usps doesn't care. The only good thing are the employees at the actual post office are nice. read more

I've been here twice now and both times I've been treated pretty poorly. I'm not sure if it's an age thing, but they clearly have no problem serving and being more understanding to older customers but they seem to treat the younger customers as if they were stupid. Also on both occasions I had to pay extra for my package delivery and postage, but have openly waived the fees for older guests. On one occasion I was told I had to pay extra for the weight of my item (a hat) and the postage for it, but the lady right after me in line had a item of the same weight and didn't have to pay for her weight or for her postage. She didn't bring her own postage either. I do not recommend this location, you have better luck at almost anywhere else. read more

This post office never answers the phone. They miss my package pick up request on a regular basis. I try to call and see if the carrier is just running late, or if they forgot again. They refuse to answer calls, and it forces people to drive to the post office and burden staff at counter for something that could have been answered in a 1 minute phone conversation. Love the "self package and mailing area" area. No waiting in lines this way. Employees have always been kind and very of e. If I may, and this goes to ALL Post Offices........why, when it's the Christmas season and you know it's the busiest time of the year for customers to be mailing packages and letters, do you still continue to only have two cashiers available? I just don't understand why you don't hire a few more employees for the holiday season. read more

This is one of my favorite Post Offices in town. It may not be the largest Post Office. It may not be the fanciest. But, what it lacks for in size, it makes up for in convenience. Firstly, parking. As in, there's plenty of it. No circling loops around the lot or trying to find street parking. There's parking a-plenty. Secondly, automated postal center. Remember you need stamps at 9pm? Forgot to mail that package and it's 7:30 on a Tuesday? No worries. Head here, get your postage from the automated postal center (complete with scale if your trying to mail a package), and then place your envelope in the mail slot or larger parcels in their parcel drop box. Lastly, friendliness. Whenever I venture here during regular business hours, the workers are always helpful, friendly, and efficient. Get to it! read more

I just wanted to state a vote of confidence for the Post Office on N. Cole Road (Boise ID), and the U.S.Postal Service in general. Through a clerical error, I was erroneously charged postage on a return item. Thereyarn got to the bottom of the sequence of events in a calm and methodical fashion and provided me with a cash refund on the spot - setting things right. 'Thank you for your service." read more

Postall Delivery person informed me Saturday that she deliberately gave my package to someone else. "Because that lady gets a lot of packages" The address on the package was no such address. I drove all over trying to find this house to see if they had my package. There is no such address. So I had to have the order sent again. The other incident was a package I was waiting for. I went out when I heard her drive into our cul da sac. She had delivered my neighbors mail to me. I walked over across the cul da sac and told her this is not my mail. I told her I was waiting for a package. She says, " Oh I have it right here. Now I have to go back through the cul da sac and make sure I gave everyone the right mail." No wonder the USPS is going broke. They have incompetent people delivering mail. I now have to get a PO Box just to make sure I get my mail. Very frustrated and disappointed read more

I am always satisfied with this post office! I have a PO Box here, which I have never had an issue with, and I don't even live close to here. I drive all the way from South Boise just to have a positive experience. Jay is one of the representatives and my husband and I think he is always a joy to talk to and very knowledgeable! The individuals that work at this location are extremely professional and most important, very helpful. I've sent international items from this location several times and they are always suggesting better and easier ways to ship items in order to save me money.
