I live and work in Buckeye. my experiences with this office have not been good. I work in the downtown area and the manager keeps switching out the routes with a different mail carrier each week. Mail is getting delayed for 2 to 3 days because the "new" carrier doesn't remember or hasn't been instructed that we have limited hours for our business. Sometimes it has ended up with the City of Buckeye. Postmaster was contacted but was not helpful. On the residential side, I have signed up for delivery tracking and have noticed that some of the items that I'm supposed to receive do not show up sometimes 2 days later. Right now, we have medications that never arrived for my son. As convenient as it seemed, I will be going back to picking them up myself. I would call and ask about these issues, but they never pick up the phone. read more

Recently I had the displeasure of talking to a a man at the Buckeye post office. I think his name was Matthew because that is the person I was previously texting that did not get back to me. I called the Buckeye post office at least 10 times and they do not answer their phone. When I texted again he finally called me. He was the most frustrating person I have ever talked to. He did not ask me what the problem was he just started into one excuse or scenario after another as to why I was not receiving my mail. The informed delivery clearly said I should have received. He wouldn't let me talk and every time I tried to talk he talked over me. I have never listened to anyone as frustrating as him in my entire life. How do these people get hired to work in the public sector. Maybe the USPS has to meet a certain quota because he is in no way a good fit for his job. After 20 minutes of him not listening to anything I tried to tell him, I finally had to tell him that everything he was saying was irrelevant to my situation and if he would listen more and talk less maybe we could find a solution. My mail man that is contracted said he had my mail but he didn't think anyone lived at my address even though I had put in a change of address two weeks before and the informed delivery showed the tabs on my car already had my new address on them. He said he took my mail back to the post office but no one seemed to know where it was. In my opinion this is the worst post office I have ever had. They are completely disorganized. read more

I would like it very much if they could just answer their phone. I call the direct no but I never get an answer . after about 8-9 rings it just hangs up. This is crazy! I hope that someday this organization will be run like a real business. One that actually works and has good customer service.Maybe they are short staffed? Overall good experience they need a drop box like in the Goodyear post office having people leave packages at the end of the counter does not seem like the most secure way of accepting packages. I cannot say anything bad but this would be a great addition. read more

I was overcharged for stamps by one book. I wanted a refund for being overcharged. I wanted it to go back to my card but instead was given cash. I told Dawn that I did not understand the charges and felt like I was being short changed. Every time I asked her questions her voice kept getting louder and louder. This is the WORST POST OFFICE EVER!!!!! They do don't care at all!! When they need signatures they're supposed to go to the door and they don't even if it's medication. Lost packages forget about it!! Good luck for them finding it I get other peoples packages all the time and I have to go to the post office asking where my packages are who is the supervisor? Like many others, no person answered the phone. I checked that a package I have been waiting for has been delivered. Well, it was not delivered to me. We do not have individual mail boxes. The person who delivered the package, apparently put it in the wrong box. Problem is that I live in a 55 and over community in Sun City Festival. Who knows where the mail is located. Do not send anything of value from this location it will not get to destination and the supervisor there are no help leaves one to think that they are all working together . The boss is an amazing dude but he need to shake up the entire stay, the clerk comment on my over night shipping that it must be very important to have it delivered next day which was weird cause this is a service the USPS OFFER and the very next day my package is missing the supervisor didn't even run back the cameras footage to see if any foul play to place on that particular day, instead they were quick to dismiss me BUT IM GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS. read more

This is the 3rd time they have said no access to delivery location. They come at 9pm and then toss mail on the ground and don't delivery my packages. They also left so fast they almost ran over my 4 year old . This is completely unacceptable and there is complete access to my mail and home. When will this stop. I lost my job because they chose not to deliver my package I needed for work. I've never been more upset and my kid is terrified he almost got ran over. Too bad a rating of "0" isn't allowed. Lived in same house for 18 years and can't tell you how many times we have either received other peoples mail/packages or had our mail/packages delivered to other people. The lasted was a package that was marked as "delivered to parcel box" yet we never received a key. I called the post office and they will not answer so I called to 800-ASK-USPS number and filed a complaint. They were supposed to open a case (which they did and I received an email to confirm this). Then I got an email from the USPS advising my case has been closed because the package was marked as "delivered". Really?? That's why I called in. This branch letter carriers need to pay attention to the FULL address, not just the house numbers as is evident by their lack of correct deliveries on a consistent basis. Come on now!! This place is horrible the worst customer service. I went in for passport with an appointment and the older guy there was so rude. Decided to walk out and did not finish the process. Buckeye mail delivery to SCF is HORRIBLE! If it was possible to give you a negative rating, I would! How difficult is it to deliver a package? If it is too large to fit in our "regular" mailbox....it goes into a larger mailbox, and a key to access the larger mailbox is "supposed" to be left in our regular mailbox. Or at least that's how it is supposed to work :( The idiots that deliver mail to SCF leave a key sometimes.....most times they don't. You would think when they show up the next day and see that the package hadn't been retrieved.....they would think to themselves....."hmmm, did I leave a key?" NO....that is above their pay grade. I got an email on Saturday saying my package had been delivered to my mailbox....I check it, and of course there's no package, and no key for the larger mailbox. Today is Monday....I check again today....no package...nO key....nothing. Our previous mail lady was awesome! Whoever does it now is an idiot that should not be trusted with handling mail. This location has been around for a very long time. It has P O boxes available for rent of all shapes and sizes. The main office has plenty of room for sitting down and filling out your paperwork or addressing your mail. The staff has always been more than helpful to me. I've had some crazy requests. Although, I'm sure they've heard crazier. I like sending crazy things to my brother in Washington state, so much help that I had to ask about how well dried ice traveled LoL Overall, I know people now ate always in a hurry, but you have to remember, no matter where you there will most likely be a wait. Their process is slow. I went online and filled up the address change form yet, it took them a while to actually put my name in the mailbox in my neighborhood. As a result had to personally come in the post office during their business hours to pick up My packages. two weeks later it's finally fixed so I am happy. I have called three times today and no one answered. I keep getting sent to "not available" sound. I had a very important letter delivered on the 20 of February and it is no where to be found. We have checked the mailbox many times and nothing. My parents live at that house and I live in El Paso because of my husbands work. I can't personally go to the post office. This has to be the worst post office in the US. The post master doesn't give a care about customers. The supervisors pass issues to the clerks rather than dealing with them. The attendance for a few of the clerks is questionable. The clerks have to order post office supplies to be delivered to their homes to be taken to the post office for the customers. Who is running this sham of an operation? If I performed like this in my line of work I would be replaced immediately. Hopefully you don't have to get a hold of anyone who works at the post office. I've been calling on and off all day to report an issue. I was having ,they would answer the phone and hang up immediately. I called all the way up until 4:30 to when their phones automatically shut off I do believe that they were answering the phone and hanging up on purpose. I was placed on hold and the person never came back to the phone after about 20 minutes of waiting. I don't understand why every single time I have a package delivered to a lock box on the mailbox. I always have issues whether the package is not in the box or the keys don't work. I'm really getting fed up with our local post office. never being able to get a hold of somebody when you have important items that are being delivered to you is stressful and frustrating. Got off early today because I work during normal business hours, checked the hours online, made it 30 minutes before posted closing time and they are closed. No signs warning of closure. Called and the automated system verified they should be open and it just rings, no answer.
