This is a follow up from my first review. I have to say that I'm very impressed with the supervisor Matthew at the Buckeye USPS office. He investigated my complaint that I filed online and he actually called me this morning which is a Sunday morning at 9:10 AM to discuss the complaint and I have to say that he went above and beyond to satisfy the situation. So I wanna thank Matthew for his efforts in making things right. And as he stated people that have an incident and they're not happy with USPS must file their complaint on the website or the email to USPS for any action to be taken. I followed all the proper steps in filing my complaint and I got the results that needed to happen. read more

I am on call 5 or 6 trying to get through about a package that says "delivered," but isn't in my mailbox. Why don't you answer the phone? This problem is echoed in many other reviews. I am going to be an extremely unhappy customer if I have to drive down to get an inkling of information. This is horrible service. Edit: on call ten and had to physically go to the office. Which is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS because this could easily be solved on the phone without me wasting gas. I've been informed that just the supervisor takes calls. I have to wait for the supervisor to call me back about the issue. I truly hope he actually calls me because he really doesn't seem to answer the phone and I will be extra mad if I have to drive back down on Monday. Update: It's Tuesday and I have heard nothing from the supervisor. I have tried calling, again to no avail! Their postal carriers suck and when you try to call the post office to file a complaint about a carrier the NEVER answer the phone. This is the worst post office I ever encountered in my entire lifetime. I usually have a regular door package pickup scheduled and today 7/18/26 my carrier got there minutes before I had the chance to put them out on the porch. But yet scanned that he picked them up which he did not. Now most people with any common sense or customer courtesy would have ring the bell to see why they were not outside. But no! That entails extra work. Postage keeps going up and I'm sure so is their payroll, but their service has gone in this shitter. read more

In the middle of everything, I realized I had accidentally left my phone at home, which made the situation even more stressful. Definitely need a self service station, did not like standing in line for 20 min just to ship out two packages.

Would be nice if this place answered the phone. Or delivered mail properly so you don't have to call them in the first place.

Absolute waste of time. I called the number listed for the Buckeye post office and it just rings and rings. I've called several times and no one ever answers. I put in a change of address 15 days ago and I have yet to receive any mail except for a informed delivery code piece from USPS that gave me a website and told me to follow the directions. There are no directions on that website so not only am I not receiving my mail, I can't even see what I'm suppose to be receiving at my current address. In addition, the closest location is almost 30 miles away. I have never had this issue when making a change of address before. Very frustrated! read more

I live and work in Buckeye. my experiences with this office have not been good. I work in the downtown area and the manager keeps switching out the routes with a different mail carrier each week. Mail is getting delayed for 2 to 3 days because the "new" carrier doesn't remember or hasn't been instructed that we have limited hours for our business. Sometimes it has ended up with the City of Buckeye. Postmaster was contacted but was not helpful. On the residential side, I have signed up for delivery tracking and have noticed that some of the items that I'm supposed to receive do not show up sometimes 2 days later. Right now, we have medications that never arrived for my son. As convenient as it seemed, I will be going back to picking them up myself. I would call and ask about these issues, but they never pick up the phone. read more

I would like it very much if they could just answer their phone. I call the direct no but I never get an answer . after about 8-9 rings it just hangs up. This is crazy! Overall good experience they need a drop box like in the Goodyear post office having people leave packages at the end of the counter does not seem like the most secure way of accepting packages. I cannot say anything bad but this would be a great addition. read more

I was overcharged for stamps by one book. I wanted a refund for being overcharged. I wanted it to go back to my card but instead was given cash. I told Dawn that I did not understand the charges and felt like I was being short changed. Every time I asked her questions her voice kept getting louder and louder. It was very embarrassing to be yelled at in front of a lobby of people. Felt humiliated!! Dawn yelling at people does not help anyone! Worst customer service. read more

He helped me with Getting my new mailbox in order & went Way beyond customer service for me & my husband with change of address, too. This is the WORST POST OFFICE EVER!!!!! They do don't care at all!! When they need signatures they're supposed to go to the door and they don't even if it's medication. Lost packages forget about it!! Good luck for them finding it I get other peoples packages all the time and I have to go to the post office asking where my packages are who is the supervisor? Like many others, no person answered the phone. I checked that a package I have been waiting for has been delivered. Well, it was not delivered to me. We do not have individual mail boxes. The person who delivered the package, apparently put it in the wrong box. Problem is that I live in a 55 and over community in Sun City Festival. Who knows where the mail is located. Recently I had the displeasure of talking to a a man at the Buckeye post office. I think his name was Matthew because that is the person I was previously texting that did not get back to me. I called the Buckeye post office at least 10 times and they do not answer their phone. When I texted again he finally called me. He was the most frustrating person I have ever talked to. He did not ask me what the problem was he just started into one excuse or scenario after another as to why I was not receiving my mail. The informed delivery clearly said I should have received. He wouldn't let me talk and every time I tried to talk he talked over me. I have never listened to anyone as frustrating as him in my entire life. How do these people get hired to work in the public sector. Maybe the USPS has to meet a certain quota because he is in no way a good fit for his job. After 20 minutes of him not listening to anything I tried to tell him, I finally had to tell him that everything he was saying was irrelevant to my situation and if he would listen more and talk less maybe we could find a solution. My mail man that is contracted said he had my mail but he didn't think anyone lived at my address even though I had put in a change of address two weeks before and the informed delivery showed the tabs on my car already had my new address on them. He said he took my mail back to the post office but no one seemed to know where it was. In my opinion this is the worst post office I have ever had. They are completely disorganized. read more

Do not send anything of value from this location it will not get to destination and the supervisor there are no help leaves one to think that they are all working together . Too bad a rating of "0" isn't allowed. Lived in same house for 18 years and can't tell you how many times we have either received other peoples mail/packages or had our mail/packages delivered to other people. The lasted was a package that was marked as "delivered to parcel box" yet we never received a key. I called the post office and they will not answer so I called to 800-ASK-USPS number and filed a complaint. They were supposed to open a case (which they did and I received an email to confirm this). Then I got an email from the USPS advising my case has been closed because the package was marked as "delivered". Really?? That's why I called in. This branch letter carriers need to pay attention to the FULL address, not just the house numbers as is evident by their lack of correct deliveries on a consistent basis. Come on now!! This location has been around for a very long time. It has P O boxes available for rent of all shapes and sizes. The main office has plenty of room for sitting down and filling out your paperwork or addressing your mail. The staff has always been more than helpful to me. I've had some crazy requests. Although, I'm sure they've heard crazier. I like sending crazy things to my brother in Washington state, so much help that I had to ask about how well dried ice traveled LoL Overall, I know people now ate always in a hurry, but you have to remember, no matter where you there will most likely be a wait. Buckeye mail delivery to SCF is HORRIBLE! If it was possible to give you a negative rating, I would! How difficult is it to deliver a package? If it is too large to fit in our "regular" mailbox....it goes into a larger mailbox, and a key to access the larger mailbox is "supposed" to be left in our regular mailbox. Or at least that's how it is supposed to work :( The idiots that deliver mail to SCF leave a key sometimes.....most times they don't. You would think when they show up the next day and see that the package hadn't been retrieved.....they would think to themselves....."hmmm, did I leave a key?" NO....that is above their pay grade. I got an email on Saturday saying my package had been delivered to my mailbox....I check it, and of course there's no package, and no key for the larger mailbox. Today is Monday....I check again today....no package...nO key....nothing. Our previous mail lady was awesome! Whoever does it now is an idiot that should not be trusted with handling mail. This is the 3rd time they have said no access to delivery location. They come at 9pm and then toss mail on the ground and don't delivery my packages. They also left so fast they almost ran over my 4 year old . This is completely unacceptable and there is complete access to my mail and home. When will this stop. I lost my job because they chose not to deliver my package I needed for work. I've never been more upset and my kid is terrified he almost got ran over. Their process is slow. I went online and filled up the address change form yet, it took them a while to actually put my name in the mailbox in my neighborhood. As a result had to personally come in the post office during their business hours to pick up My packages. two weeks later it's finally fixed so I am happy. I occasionally come by to do business with them such as dropping mail and they're always very helpful and friendly. I have called three times today and no one answered. I keep getting sent to "not available" sound. I had a very important letter delivered on the 20 of February and it is no where to be found. We have checked the mailbox many times and nothing. My parents live at that house and I live in El Paso because of my husbands work. I can't personally go to the post office. This has to be the worst post office in the US. The post master doesn't give a care about customers. The supervisors pass issues to the clerks rather than dealing with them. The attendance for a few of the clerks is questionable. The clerks have to order post office supplies to be delivered to their homes to be taken to the post office for the customers. Who is running this sham of an operation? If I performed like this in my line of work I would be replaced immediately.
